I have a condo in Tulsa and needed to have the a/c unit service. I contacted Elite through Angie lIst with their $69 special. The service man came out and told me that I would need about $500 in more repairs.I had a unit that was 10+ years old and decided to replace it for a more efficient unit. Elite handled the new unit quickly and everyone I have dealt with at Elite has been very professional. I also recieved a 5% senior discount off the purchase.

They were very courteous and punctual. These are the kind of people you want to do business with! I highly recommend their service!

I had bought angie list deal but cancelled it later because i didn't need the service. Angie's list keeps asking me for review. So here it is.

They were late but the technician was apologetic and sincere. They sent a tech so he was only there to do the bare minimum. We wanted them to check out our ducts and tell us the shape/cost of replacing them. He told us he'd tell a sales person or someone who could come out and give us more information but no one ever followed up. It was OK service - not too much to complain or praise. But I would use them again. The man who came out was very nice, polite and helpful for as much as he could.

It went very well. They were very professional. Cleaned up after themselves. Took all old ductwork with them did not track dirt through the house. Very happy with the work done.

could not provide the type wall plugs I wanted. finally had to purchase them myself and furnish to his installers. then had to get him to reduce the bill for the wall plugs he did not furnish. If you want ordinary run of the mill stuff you can by at Home Depot, this company can do that. But if you have specific request and needs, it's a slow go.

Elite Services provided a summary of the changes we could make to improve the energy efficiency of our home. They broke the list down so that we could determine the relative cost and potential benefit from these changes. Some of these we can do ourselves, others require more specialized skills. Some things they spotted are simple fixes, such as add a thermal jacket around the hot water heater, turn a fan on in a closed-off room during the coldest days of winter to reduce condensation on the glass. Some included adding vent "shoes" in the attic to keep the vents to the outdoors from getting covered up with insulation. The incoming air blew the insulation away from the eves and the corners of our exterior rooms, leaving the corners of our rooms a place for heat to escape in the winter. Adding the shoes and restoring the insulation makes our house more energy efficient. Some of the items would be costly to accomplish, and are a good warning to us if we buy another house. The house doesn't appear to have had an insulating layer applied between the foundation and the floor sill. So the edges of our floors along the exterior of the house are very cold in the winter. To correct would be pretty costly.

Our experience with them was fine. They have done a lot of stuff which they seemed to be very honest with. I think they were a little overpriced and willing to repair it, but it was fine. There was no delay in scheduling it. The $99 Big Deal covered the inspection. They were very thorough. They seemed to check everything and gave us recommendations and prices if they did it.

As part of the energy audit, the agent checked the ac, ducts, doors, windows and attic. Our house is about 3 years old. So there wasnt much issue about bad insulation or leakage around doors. However, there was one area in the house that wouldn't get heating or cooling compared to the other zones (almost 10 degrees different). The agent didn't find any issue with the ducting and suggested with insulate some area of the attic. Got a quote of $1600. Subsequently, we had another company come in to perform AC service and I had him look in the attic to check out ducting and see if there was any leakage. Sure enough, he found a massive rupture in one of the ducts and he charged me his minimum, $289 to fix that.

All went extremely well. Extensive review of entire house so carve out 3-4 hours of your time for this job. Post-visit, very nice report with items listed (with cost estimates) that, if addressed, could achieve additional energy savings. The approach to this audit is looking at your house in total in the context of its current state and construction.

The service did not go well. They did not do what they said they would. They told me the unit worked very well and that the only issue was that it was low on coolant. My son took a look at the AC and said it was not working the way it should. We called another company to look at the unit and they were able to repair the leaks. I felt like it was a bait and switch. They were trying to charge additional fees to do anything other than look at the unit. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

I found out that I needed a new unit and received multiple bids. They came in on the lower end so I had them install a new air conditioner. They walked me through what was going on and what they could or could not do.

That went very well and I was very pleased with their service. One technician came out and on top of the tune up, he added some Freon too. He was professional, explained what he was doing and the service took him less than an hour.

It went great. They got all the information over to us and they did a really good job. They sent one person out to do the job and they got the job done in a couple of hours. The scheduling worked out well and we did not have any problems.

The first visit, they came and said my a/c was installed all wrong, and to get someone to come out and do some kind of a check on the blower. This was so long ago, I don't remember all of the details. When the a/c person came, they said everything was fine. I told them to go ahead and put it in and after a bit of time, someone came to install it. The first day, there was some part missing and they had to order it. He came back days later and then had to leave to go to Lowe's to get some other fitting. Then when it was finally finished being installed, it actually DID do it's job. Last month, when I turned on the a/c, there was a leak coming from the hot water closet. I called the plumber out who looked at it and said it was the a/c leaking. I called the a/c company who came out and looked at it and said it was the person who installed the humidifier. They put the drain in all wrong and tapped it into the a/c drain and something had backed it up so it was leaking down thru the ceiling in the garage and running out of the hot water heater closed. He turned off the water and said to call on Monday to see if they could come back out and redo the drain. So, Tuesday, (I think) he showed back up and redid something on the drain and it doesn't seem to be leaking now, but the sheetrock in the garage has water stains and I will have to disclose this leak on disclosure form whenever I go to sell the house. Beware of this type of installation. Be sure they don't tap into the drain for the a/c and just put tape on it. A shortcut that cause a lot of problems!!!!!

Elite had installed our new AC/heating unit 9 years ago. And now I feel I'm stuck calling them to come out for any service so I don't invalidate any warranty on the unit. And out of the 9 years we've had this system, we have had to have some sort of repair and freon added to the system for 4 of those years. Once in 2010 and then the past 3 years in a row, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Alot of repairs for a new system in my opinion. I don't know if we had been sold a lemon or if they are bad at installation. So when once again I am told it's another year of costly repair, I naturally got upset. I have a stack of yellow repair slips from this company with repairs ranging from $500 - $1300. And not having any other choice, I had to agree to the repair. Kevin, the service tech, was not happy about climbing up in our attic to replace the refrigerant line. He had expected the simple job of a preseason service. So I watched him throw things around and slam doors. Just the attitude I want of someone working in my home! I had also purchased the Angie's List Deal of the Day for a $69 AC service which could not be done until the repairs we're made. To be honest, I don't know if that was done for sure. Kevin never came into my house to check out the thermostat or any of the things they usually do during their service. I did talk to Joel, the owner, and voiced my complaints of yet another repair. I was told since it was the refrigerant line in the house, that it was not part of the system and therefore not covered by any warranties. I did question why that line wasn't changed out when we had the unit installed since we had also added extra vents to be put in. Joel explained that they never change out the old line. He's seen them last 50 years in a house. And it would have been an additional $400 to the cost. A price I would have gladly paid. Especially since the current repair would be almost $600. Prior to having Elite install this Trane system, we had a Rheem that ran for 20 years with only one needed repair. The only reason we replaced the old system was because it was outdated and too small for the house. I do know that I will not be calling Elite once the warranty expires or when we have this Trane replaced. They are unreliable as a company and they sell defective equipment. Or at least that's been my experience. UPDATE: Unknown to me, my husband originally left the Angie's List review and filled out the extra information even though he wasn't here for the drama and repairs. He was just happy to have the AC working again!

Tech didn't show for original appointment. Called company's phone # and got answering service. Came the next day.

Everything worked out well with them. Joel was great. There were no problems with scheduling. He was very knowledgeable and he spent 2 and half hours here. He answered all my questions well and he wrote up a report and emailed it to us. I felt very comfortable with him.

They pointed out all the areas I could improve my energy usage and reduce my heat/AC bills. Even though they did not get the bid to install the new equipment, they were extremely helpful.

Joel was great. When he arrived he took the time to talk through everything before getting started. This allowed him to make sure that all of my concerns were addressed specifically. After talking with him for a while (he did not seem rushed and appeared to genuinely care) we started looking through the home. He was able to quickly identify the areas of concern and explained the impact of each item on how my home uses energy. I had several ideas as to how I was going to reduce my energy bills but after working through this I was able to adjust my priorities based on cost and effectiveness. Joel also provided me with an estimate to perform the repairs so I can budget for what needed to be done. I would highly recommend Joel and Elite Service to anyone.
