Air Assurance

The two guys went above and beyond. They not only installed my new package unit, they also tightened up all the vents and fixed a rusted out elbow joint underneath the house. One of them even called their plumbing division to come fix my broken toilet, though I'm sure he was happier being on the phone instead of in my crawl space. All in all, I would highly recommend this company.

it was great, they arrived at scheduled time, took their time going through the unit, and explained what they did, and why. They replaced my air filter and cleaned the unit. I would not hire anyone else to do my heat/ac, Air Assurance is the best!

The installation of the new tankless water heater went exactly as it was described. The new unit is working great, and it is nice to no longer worry if there will be enough hot water for me to be able to take a warm shower. These things aren't cheap, but they sure are nice to have. I was also impressed with how neat the guys left things. I would highly recommend Air Assurance to anyone. They did a GREAT job.

Air Assurance is now EXCELLENT in my book. I gave them an F in mid-2015 for a bad service call after which I had tried to work with them and got the runaround. A year later we had the same problem (leak in our AC system), so I looked for a provider on Angie's List again. I ran across my review from 2015 and found the owner of Air Assurance, Dave Rampey, had promptly left a very reasonable and kind reply, offering to refund my money. (Apparently Angie's List does not notify when a reply is left to a review.) So I called him, explained who I was, and that rather than a refund, I'd prefer to be converted to a happy customer. He was happy to hear it, and the result is now I am a VERY happy Air Assurance customer. Our unit was still leaking as nothing had been fixed in the 2015 visit. Dave sent a different tech (Steve) to charge it up and figure out where the leak was (this had never been done in the 2015 visit). Steve quickly found the leak, charged the system, and had a rough estimate to fix the leak. The estimate was a pretty wide range, so I asked Air Assurance to have someone come out and actually provide a firm quote, TJ Webb came out on time and was very professional. In the end his quote was the low end of the previously quoted range! I also checked with the company who installed the system (new construction in 2013), and their quote was quite a bit higher. Air Assurance came out, did the work on time, and "it's all good." And there is a two year warranty on this particular repair. Dave Rampey moved me from the "highly unsatisfied" column to the "extremely satisfied" column. We will definitely call Air Assurance again in the future. Kudos to you, Dave, and to Steve (the tech) and TJ (the estimator) and whomever it was that came out and did this repair work. Job well done!

I did not use this company's services

We just had a new system put in and they were excellent.

We had been having plumbing issues in our bathrooms for the last few months and had to call out a plumber on several occasions. The last time we were told it would cost at least $8,000 to fix a clogged drum trap because they would have to pull up our bathtub and break into the foundation! We even called our insurance company to make a claim! We called Air Assurance out for a second opinion and they fixed the issue within an hour and didn't even charge us because of everything we had already been through! Plumber Scott Larson was amazing (if you call, ask for Scott!)! And plumbing manager Chris Dickerson even came as well to make sure everything went OK. We ended up calling our insurance company and cancelling the claim. Thank you, Air Assurance! We'll definitely be calling on you guys again.

horribly; charged a fortune for a unit they sold that should have been under warranty

horribly; sent an incompetent tech on first day; company person lied and said nothing was wrong with unit; suffered in 90 degree house for 2 days unnecessarily; sent competent guy next time and he fixed; charged $1103 but gave no receipt, no repair order, no record of the service call or guaranty information; have received indifferent, incompetent service from the company previously; have service agreement with them.

It turned out just fine. They did a good job. They did what they came out to do. For what I paid, I thought it was fair.

Everything went well. At the time I thought it was a little expensive. Air Assurance has a callout price and a minimum price regardless of how long the technician is on location. Later though I agreed the price was fair.

This was a $74 big deal purchase. It did not turn out too good. They came out and the tech did a good job, but he had to replace switch outside that was $400. There was just a fuse missing. It turns out I could have to got it a lot cheaper elsewhere I was not too happy about that. They came out pretty soon after I purchased the deal, within a week. He said they did not make the fuses anymore and then I had to buy the whole box. I took him, maybe an hour, to do the work.

I was very satisfied with Air Assurance. They are very honest, professional, knowledgable and really care about treating and serving their customers well with excellence. I was very glad I had picked them and trusted them to tell me what I really needed to get my gas air heater working properly and heating the air. Corey was the service technician who came to my home and he diagnosed my heating system for safety and also figured out the issues and repaired my heating system. He was friendly, very well skilled, trustworthy and really loves his work and cares about doing a great job. Corey also explained to me how he was diagnosing and figuring out the possible issues. I greatly appreciated his sincerity and integrity. I then spoke to him about having a carbon monoxide detector installed and he had some on his truck and he helped me find the best place for it. I am so impressed with the no nonsense goodwill professional service of Air Assurance that I plan on being a lifetime customer of this excellent family run company and will highly recommend them to friends and neighbors.

It was good. They came the next day. I did not pay more than $99 for the big deal. They did an inspection and found a default. There was a shower leak from the opposite side of the toilet upstairs. They let us know where it was coming from but there was no repair done.

Corey was our service tech. Great guy. He identified that a vent in the roof was leaking and perhaps with the recent rain, it caused a temporary short. He tested other components throughly. Having two units, I decided to take out a maintenance plan to ensure they are well serviced. Very reasonable price for the plan. $265. It includes twice a year check and some cleaning to clear out that cottonwood fuzz that which can make your unit run harder and longer. As you know, catching problems early can save you big money later. I also liked the fact that I get additional discounts on parts in labor should I need it. Prompt, friendly, and professional service. I will be using these folks any time I have heating or cooling service needs. I recommend them to anyone looking for a great company with great people. I'd give them three thumbs up, but I only have two.

They addressed air flow problems and added a large duct to get more air flow into our den which is over the garage also added some flus so we could adjust the air flow to each room.

The fan motor seized up the night before. I contacted intially by email, got a call back early the following day (9/16), said they could be by at 9am. It turned out to be a bit later than that, but no biggie. The technician confirmed that the motor was, indeed, seized. He replaced the motor and capacitor and checked the entire system. He was done by mid day, and the air conditioner worked fine afterwards.

Will be done soon because it was much too much for me to handle financially now, actually would like another option. Lots of money to pay for a pan that may or may not work. I will contact them when I find the funds. . .in the meantime I do have water streaming in my garage on some days.ly

The technician was here for about two hours. He worked diligently to figure out why my air conditioner was working so hard. He was honest and efficient. Checked humidity in the house several times. The company that serviced our air conditioner last year tried to solve the problem by adding more freon which was too much. The Air Assurance technician made sure we had the correct amount of freon and found the problem. We were charged the regular service charge only, as no parts were needed. My husband was very impressed and we will definitely use them again!

Arrived as scheduled, very polite and knowledgeable.

There was a substantial, steady stream of water coming from the hot water closet in the garage & running across the floor. This wasn't discovered until late evening, of course. We had been hearing ads for Air Assurance on a local radio station, so we went to Angie's list to check the reviews before contacting the company. Since it was so late (& the stream of water didn't seem to be getting any larger) we sent them an email via Angie's List. To our surprise, we were contacted early the next morning by a very nice, agreeable young lady and an appointment was scheduled (totally at our convenience when we could have someone at the house) for a plumber to come assess the situation and make any needed repairs. Chris W arrived exactly on time and determined that the hot water tank was not the problem but something totally unrelated (can't remember exactly what) was causing the water flow. He repositioned a pipe into the drain - problem solved. He then called to explain the cause of the water flowing out of the closet and what he did to correct it. He was very polite, knowledgeable and courteous. We were charged the price of a service call. We will definitely use Air Assurance again - our entire experience with them was excellent.
