Air Assurance

Came to fulfill a service order for air conditioning unit thru home warranty company, the technician that arrived said the compositor needed to be replaced so I assume he replaced it but never came into the home to check temperature or air blowing in when the technician was asked if he had checked Freon his reply was no it should be good then he left no change in inside temperature in 20/30 minutes so I called in they said it would take a couple of hours for new part to start cooling the house back down due to the outside temperature so I patiently waited a couple of hours before calling back and was told they would send someone back out by midnight, as midnight approached I gave a call back and was told that all after hour slots was full and and was given a service time of 10-12 Saturday morning only to be told the warranty company needs to open a new ticket before a technician can be sent out, finally got ticket reopened that should have never been closed due to incomplete service now I’m being told that air assurance don’t have home service warranty technicians on the weekends and I’m being told the next available time would be Tuesday due to the holiday. You should train your customer service agents to never state that to anyone else because this is what the average person with common sense hear is (the contract that we have with Home Serv does not cover weekend or after hour service calls) I would not recommend this company to anyone.

They installed new HVAC system, ductwork, and insulation. Could not be more satisfied from the initial quote to the final job detail. On time, worked hard, kept us informed, cleaned up as they went along, explained how everything worked, finished on schedule.

When the compressor on our 1994 AC went out at the end of this summer, my wife and I knew it was time to replace the AC and upgrade the 1984 furnace. We were uncertain of brand & unit size but quite certain what company we trusted to do the job. Our one and only call was to Air Assurance. Jay Rathbun met with us the same evening and reviewed our house dimensions along with existing HVAC ducts, crawl space, attic space, and air return capabilities. Jay presented us with 3 options and educated us about each option. We never felt hurried and had all of our questions factually answered. There is no guess work with this company. From sales to installation, Air Assurance has been the very best choice. Their customer service is top-notch and their installers are absolute geniuses when it comes to upgrading old systems in a home that dates back to the 1950's. Christian and Joe removed the old equipment and installed the new within 2 days. They were professional, courteous, and respectful of our home at all times. The new system is neat and tidy with no exposed piping or loose wires. They used the existing duct work because it was still in good shape. It is rare to find a company that does not add things to your bill that you do not need. Our new Lennox system is quiet with an easy to use touch screen thermostat. I feel certain my winter heating & summer AC bills will also reflect their efficiency. Air Assurance is my recommendation for all AC, Heating, and Plumbing needs!

I have had an annual plan with Air Assurance for two years for a reasonable cost ($150). Like clockwork, they call twice a year to set up an appointment to check and clean etc my central air and heating system. Their employees are always courteous and explain what they are going to do. Yesterday, Wyatt S. came and did my annual checkup. When he left he sent an email with a comprehensive checklist of what was done and pictures of the key elements of my system in case we need to compare the unit at some point in the future. Two years ago I had Air Assurance fix a plumbing problem. Based on my satisfaction with the plumber's willingness to carefully brainstorm about the problem and a long term solution, I signed up for annual service. Needless, to say I am very satisfied with Air Assurance. Timely service, fair pricing, courteous service persons. What more could you ask for? Thanks

Unfortunately, snaking the drain & the clean out didn't work due to 52 year old lead pipes. It was determined that more extensive under the house pipe repair & drain trap replacement was in order. Phillip was great.......crawled under the house, diagnosed the problem, provided an on the spot fair & reasonable estimate and performed the needed PVC upgraded pipe repairs in a timely fashion... same day...as a result we didn't have to wait until after Christmas & freezing weather. I am very satisfied & highly recommend Phillip & Air Assurance. This is the second time I have used their Plumbing services and have been extremely pleased with the Company & their Plumbers both times this year. Clean, polite, attention to detail, fair pricing & just great customer service! Isn't this the way it's supposed to be?

They responded immediately to my request. Gave me an accurate estimate and had the whole job done in two days. Worked with me to get the best rebates for efficiency and suggested some additional things I could do to lower my bills even more. Checked the other unit I have that is two years old and sealed some leaks in the attic and added another return at no cost to me! They aren't cheap but I am very confident in their work and their commitment to provide a quality product and support..

The work was done. The handyman I had doing miscellaneous jobs noted that the disposal in the kitchen was not attached to the line from the new faucet. I felt that Air Assurance should have handled that. Also, the handyman noted the toilet ring was not done well, and eventually replaced the toilet and the ring. I was very disappointed with the service and would not hire them again.

They were right on time. They gave me the exact time that they were going to be here. They got the spare parts that they needed in a hurry. It was up and running in a few hours after they came in. It went pretty good.

They were great, good communication and follow up.

Worked very hard to get us up and running during an extremely hot weekend. We have been customers for a long time and they valued our long-standing relationship with them and that was very much appreciated. We will certainly continue to use them.

was told tech wouldn't be able to come until 10 or 11pm but tech called to say he was on his way so wait was under an hour. tech realized I was longtime customer with a pma so bumped me up on the list. air assurance has always been professional, punctual to appts, respectful of the home and have always resolved the problem to my total satisfaction. only company I will use.

PSO showed up the first morning to test our current system. Air Assurance came in right after them and started with the downstairs system first. The next day, they started on the upstairs system. We were never completely without AC at any time and were able to sleep in our upstairs bedroom both nights during work. They cleaned up after themselves and were super professional. We were happy from the process start to finish.

No problems and no complaints, very pleased

First off, appointment for plumbing work was scheduled and then related craftsmen were scheduled accordingly-drywall, flooring, etc. On the morning of our scheduled plumbing appointment, Air Assurance was a no-show at scheduled time. After allowing sufficient time for car trouble, unexpected events, etc, I called the office to inquire as to what the delay was. After numerous back and forth calls, I was told that the appointment would be cancelled because it had been mis-scheduled as a one hour repair rather than an 8 hour remodel. Chris, the supervisor of the plumbing division made no effort to reschedule for the following day, stating it "just wasn't possible", even though I had scheduled correctly and had done so more than a week in advance. He did not care that all of the other craftsmen would now need to be rescheduled, as well as hotel reservations extended due to not having a usable bathroom. We had completely gutted the bathroom in order to make installation day go smoothly and quickly. Chris promised to discount the work and also promised to be at the worksite the following week to supervise the work. Neither promise was kept. Additionally, because of the original no-show of the workers, I kept track of the times each separate worker arrived, the time they left for lunch and their return. This resulted in a total time of 6 hours on site- but did not count the numerous breaks to go make personal phone calls to one worker's doctor and other time-consuming/non-job related tasks. Imagine my surprise when I was presented with a $1000+ bill, which I promptly refused to pay. I finally ended up with a laughable discount making my bill $960, with the caveat that Chris, the supervisor, would call me and discuss this charge. It has now been one month and I still have not heard from Chris. Our bathroom was left a stinking mess because the workers had used the (turned off) toilet all day and did not flush after turning the water back on; our tub enclosure is uneven with the sides almost .75inches higher than the back wall; and we had to pay an extra $400 to a handyman to repair and replace the damage done when installing the enclosure. While the two workers were very nice, I would not recommend them for anything but basic plumbing repairs-certainly not remodels and absolutely not enclosures. And get upfront pricing and verified amount of time scheduled for repair.

Steven came out on time and was very personable and professional. He provided a very fair quote. The service fee was waived since I had a quote for them to compare to already. The price was fair, and Steven did the work quickly. I will definitely use them in the future and I will ask for Steven to be the guy who comes out.

They were great. I will continue to use them. I've been using them for two years. I would give them straight A's for everything.

Outstanding service from start to finish. All personnel were friendly and courteous. The sales rep was knowledgeable and helpful. The service workers did an excellent job installing the new units and air return and sealing the duct work. They were conscientious about the work area and created minimal mess, which they were careful to clean up. I highly recommend Air Assurance.
