Stan's Plumbing Inc

Excellent. I have used this company for over 5 years. They employ multiple plumbers and I have never had anyone who wasn't good, polite and on time.

The plumber was due between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00 on a Friday. He arrived at 4:21 and when he was not finished by 5:00 I thought he would probably say that he would have to come back on Monday or pay overtime rates for Saturday, but he didn't say either of those things! He just kept working until he was finished with both plumbing problems at 6:11. He was a very nice young man with great work ethics. It has been a month since these repairs were done and everything is still working great!

We have used Stan's numerous times and they have always done a good job. The plumbing in our house is very unusual (original house was built in the 1930s and then the house was added to and remodeled over the years.) They have been able to fix our problems with water backups and such promptly and with very little hassle. The last time I had a plumbing problem, I accidently called another company which could not come out until the next day, then they looked at the minor problem, left, and then called me 5 hours later to tell me they could not fix it. I immediately called Stan's. They were able to come out the same day, got the line snaked and were on their way with minimal hassle. I will never call any other plumber. Stan's has been very good and reliable for us.

I just got off the phone with the owner of Stan's Plumbing and I just had to write a great review. I had an underground pipe leak in my back yard, and called for Stan's to come out for an estimate and help diagnose the problem and give me an estimate on the fix. The estimator and I had different guesses as to what the problem was, where the leak was, etc., but then I just got to speak with the owner and he understood the problem right off the bat and understood the best solution. Long story short; the problem got fixed with almost no effort or cost, and I really have to hand it to the owner for so quickly understanding what my concern/solution about what his estimator's guess was and working with me about the best and cheapest solution. A good man to speak with. Would I use them again? Absolutely... we have an old 1907 house that has so many electrical, carpentry and plumbing problems, and I know that our main plumbing service will someday have to be replaced... and when it does, we'll be calling Stan's Plumbing to do it. SUPER understanding owner, and I have no doubt that the next time, when it turns out I do have a real problem, they'll be the folks who'll fix it! Robert and Cathy Mercer

The tech showed up in the window of time they scheduled. The tech was very professional and honest and informed me I didnt need their services but if i do in the future, Stans Plumbing is who I would call.

Tommy was sent by Stan's Plumbing and arrived on time to complete the work. He was friendly and professional. He worked quickly to complete the work efficiently. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work and the price charged. I will definitely use Stan's plumbing again in the future.

Joined Angie's List this morning to get plumber info. Called Stan's Plumbing at 10:50 am. Spoke with Ron. He said they'd be out today between now and 2 pm. (Wow!) He called about 12:30 or 12:40 to say they'd be heading our way. The technician, Bob, showed up at 1:15 and immediately got to work, while explaining to me each step and what/why he was doing it. Friendly and personable. After turning off the water at the street, he checked the faucet itself and replaced a washer, then turned the water back on. It was still leaking. Told me at that point that it was the hydrant in the wall itself, but that he'd try to fix it from the outside if it came out easily. However, it did not so he did have to come inside to do it. He spread a sheet on the floor of the closet to keep the mess off the floor. He cut a U shaped hole in the drywall, so it was "hinged" to go back into place when he was done. (I told him we'll probably have someone frame it out and put a little door there for future access.) He made the necessary repairs, again explaining to me as he was working what was happening and why. When he was finished with the repairs he cleaned everything up (hadn't made much of a mess to start with, so that was nice) and put new mortar around the faucet, as well as pointing out to me some minor suggestions for stabilizing the pipe in the wall when they put the door on. He was finished by 2:45. The total was $236 ($44.23 parts, $96 service call, additional $96 labor). Well worth it to me for having it done so quickly and so professionally. I will certainly have no problem recommending them and using them again.

The only reason why I didn't give him an A is because he was slow. The price was fair but he was slow and I paid by the hour. The quality was great; excellent. There were no problems with responsiveness and he was very professional. I don't remember if they were on time or not. I would recommend them with the caveat that they are slow. I am not a patient person.

They were professional and quick. The service tech came on time and finished the work.But i was shocked with the $ 96.00 SERVICE charge along with the cost of labor. I felt that should have been called out up front when I made the appointment and not when the bill was presented. I have never had to pay such an excessively high amount for any other service provider. They did a good job but honestly this was way too expensive.

We were very satisfied with the work done by Stan's Plumbing. The phone conversation to arrange the appointment was friendly and professional. The technician arrived the next day on time, completed the work in the estimated time, cleaned up after the work, hauled off the failed pipe and was courteous and professional. We will use them again!

They are very good. They saved me a lot of money. They are professional. They don't overcharge. They invoice me after the work is done. Their price is great. They do a really good professional job and cleanup after themselves and everything. I would recommend them to others. I had one plumbing job where one company estimated like $2500 and the other was $1800 and they fixed the problem for about $250. They didn't do the huge repair that others were saying I needed. I would rate them highly.

After purchasing this house 18 months ago, I began noticing a couple of leaky faucets....a constant drip, drip, drip. The shower head also began to leak, although we had already purchased a new one and changed it. Then one of the stools began flushing when no one was in the bathroom, so I decided it was time to call a plumber. I found Stan's Plumbing on Angie's list and called, mainly because of the positive ratings they had received from other customers. The plumber who came was everything I had expected...punctual and professional. I explained the problems and he went to work immediately, quickly doing one repair and then moving on to the next. After he left, I noticed the stool was still flushing 'automatically,' so I had to call. He came back the next day and changed the mechanism again, explaining that sometimes he found a faulty one. Everything has been fine since.

They were punctual, professional, and friendly. $450 for two hours of work seemed excessive to me.

When I have a plumbing problem, I call them. Their quality of work is excellent. I will continue to use them.

I don't normally ever right reviews. I feel this company is well deserving of their high rating here on Angie's list. My problem started with a drain line that I had thought was broken due to numerous attempts to clear it myself. I have even had another plumbing company tell me they thought it was broken. I called Stan's and had originally requested a camera be sent down so that we could know where the pipe was messed up and to know how much it would cost to fix it. My service man, Kevin, came out to do the work and asked me several questions about what drained in the surrounding areas of the affected pipe. After looking at my issue he seemed confident a simple line cleaning would work. I've had another plumber come out several times and tell me they could not fit their snake down this drain pipe because of a p-trap. Kevin had no problem cleaning the line and saving me money at the same time. My line now drains perfectly and he has made us completely happy.

They are so good about coming; the day that I call they try their very best to work you and of course if I have an emergency they will come right away. They are very prompt, and they always take my service call, and make an appointment for me on the same day, and if I have an emergency like my water tank they come right away. I will always use them.They even saved me a bill, because they said it was a good thing you called us as we found something else, and there was a water line inside my house and they had to fix that one too, as when he opened the door there was a leak coming down.

They called before coming and showed up on time. We supplied the new faucet and he went right to work. He did an excellent job and was very professional. I had forgot to get new water lines but that was no problem, he had just what we needed. He cleaned three sink drains and reported what he found. He was also very clean, and totally cleaned up after himself like he had never been there. Excellent service overall.

Very reliable, the do a good job.They charge by the hour which is a better way for me. They deducted the charge for coming out to estimate the work. I like Stan's plumbing I have used them several times.

Technician showed up on time and completed work quickly for what had to be done. Had to install new drip pan and the connecting pipes with new code required components (pressure control devices on each line to stop pipe rumble).

Arrived at the time they scheduled. Check the showers and told me what they would have to do.

I have been very satisfied with my experiences with Stan's Plumbing Inc. The gentleman that came to do the work was very clean. He did the job efficiently. He was very friendly as well. I will use them again in the future.

Better than expected from an already recommended professional!

They were on time and let us know that the water heater was under warranty so we didn't have to pay anything for it. They were priced cheaper than anyone else. I have used them in the past and will use them again if I need to.

I called Stan's to have some leaky shutoff valves replaced on the laundry water supply. They scheduled an appointment for the next day. The plumber they sent out arrived reasonably close to the appointed time, and was very professional in his manner. He answered my questions to my satisfaction and took the time to do the job properly. The work was done neatly and he cleaned up after himself, moving the washer and dryer back into position. I have not had any problems with the valves since they put them on and I am very pleased with their work. In addition, the plumber took the time to look over another project that I was interested in doing, and gave me a ballpark estimate. He was very pleasant and patient and I will definitely have him come back if I should have any other plumbing needs.

Good service, come on time, do what they say and their prices are nice and high.
