They came out when I wanted them to and completed the job. They were friendly and the price for the work they did was very reasonable. They had to dig a big hole in my yard and had to access the pipe there to work on it. I will use this company again in the future.

Placed the service call at 9 am and repair was done by 4 pm the same day. Friendly repairman, reasonable price.

MY watetr bill was twice what it usually is two months in a row. I figured I may have a leak in the plumbing in the slab. Called Friday morning, they said someone would be there between 3 and 5 PM. Technician showed up at 3:15 and was able to determine that there were no leaks. He had to dig out about 6 inches of dirt to see the meter. He said they had not read the meter and were estimating my bill. I called the city and they agreed to re-read the meter. I was issued a credit by the city.

Was told that the tech. would arrive in the 11AM-2 PM time period; actual arrival was 2:12 PM. Parked in my driveway, without inquiring if it was OK or not.Tech wanted to see for himself the color of the dirty water, but didn't offer to remove his shoes which appeared "well used" to me. Sounded offended that I'd ask about his shoes. He then determined tank was failing and I concurred as it was 15 years old and I saw the evidence of water and debris on the bottom of the tank. He telephoned and immediately got prices for options and we then decided upon a model. Next day, he "arrived" as no time was given, I had previously said a key to the outside closet was secreted beneath the front door mat. As I had been at home, I observed him retrieving the key. Later I was called when the job was said to be complete and I had to ask where was the "owner's manual?" Another tech. went out to his truck and retrieved the manual from a garbage container...guess I would not have the manual, if I hadn't asked. Be certain to nail down the entire deliverablers package with this company! Final price was exactly as quoted...good work there. Only complaints I have are some of the sharper details that separate the best from the rest were not there for me. I'd use them again, but wouldn't expect more than the usual treatment...curious why they get "A" marks from everyone. Guess the rest are really bad?

We had been hearing what sounded like water dripping from behind a wall where the shower fixtures were located. Stan's Plumbing was called due to Angie's List evaluations. They lived up to the high scores and earned one from us. They were able to set an appointment within two days of the call (it was not an emergency situation by any means.) The plumber called before coming and was prompt in arriving at the scheduled time. He was very friendly and professional throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, the part was expensive - $120. Consider this if you are thinking about upgrading your bathroom. We had just installed a fancy, high dollar shower fixture two years ago and he had not seen this type of set up before. He had to first dismantle a pretty sophisticated shower control lever that required a special tool. After that was accomplished he was able to discover what he thought to be the problem pretty quickly. He did not have the part with him to fix the issue permanently, but he was able to stop the leak until the part came in the following day. A different plumber made that call and was also very professional. He installed the new cartridge but had a hard time calibrating the temperature settings. He was very particular about getting it done just the right way, yet did not overcharge us on the time spent doing the job. We will definitely use these folks again. It was a good experience. This isn't a cut rate outfit. You will pay $96 for a service call and $96 an hour for work beyond that first hour, but this experience tells us they know what they are doing, handle things very professionally, and make sure stuff gets done the right way.

I did my homework and called back that afternoon with the information and was told they'd call me with an estimate. I was never called back when I called each of the next three days was told someone would call me right back. After a week I gave up. I have nothing to show for $48 and my time, and since when do plumbers not dig or talk with ONG? I called another company, they immediately gave me a free, detailed estimate which was very fair and I don't even have to dig my own trench.

They've always come when I've asked them to and they do a good job.

He showed up on time, introduced himself, made sure of what was required and got to work. He was quick, neat and did a very professional looking job.

One company came and did a $500 camera exploration that lasted all of about 5 minutes and said there was a belly and probably a break under the slab. They gave a very professional estimate at around $3400 to complete reroute the plumbing out from under the house. Another company came and took forever to make a bid at about half that amount. I got Stan's Plumbing from Angie's list (one of the others too) and their man Jerry came out and did the most thorough assessment of the plumbing anyone has ever done. After assessing the situation, he said he was not at all sure that the plumbing needed to be rerouted and suggested that the drain for the washer needed to be raised to level with the rest of the plumbing. I was expecting another estimate, but he started right to work and fixed it completely for 283.64. As a matter of fact I waited this long to send a report to see if the fix was as good as it seemed. It is! I will certainly use the again for any plumbing needs I have.

The drain for our washing machine was clogged, soaking the floor with each load. The serviceman quickly diagnosed the problem and cleared the drain, even going further through the drain than necessary just to make sure he got the problem area. He was there on time, finished the work quickly, and explained every step to me.

I had waited all Monday morning for a different plumber to show up. After calling the company, they thought that they were just calling me to give an estimate. I looked on Angie's List for a different plumber and thought I might try Stan's Plumbing. When I called, they happened to have an immediate opening and we arranged for them to come the next day. The man that came was one of the most polite and knowledgeable individuals I had ever worked with. I had to go on to work and left him to fix the broken pipe and because he seemed to know what he was doing, I also had him re-route 2 old lines to the dishwasher and refrigerator.

The company responded quickly. The plumber was a few minutes late, but called to say he was on his way. He worked quickly and did a good job. Most of the expense was for the replacement pump. The parts cost was in line with my prior price-checks, and the parts were high quality.

Their receptionist was polite and professional. I called at 11:00 am and they said they'd have someone out between then and 2:00. Bob showed up at 1:30. His appearance and conduct were professional and represented Stan's well. I showed him where the problem was and he answered a few questions for me and asked a few of his own. I went about my business while he got to work figuring out what would need to be done. After a while, he came and told me what was needed and I told him to go ahead and do the work. We didn't discuss overall cost, but he did take me through the cost of the parts. I'm sure if I'd asked him, he'd have been glad to go through the rate structure with me, but neither of us knew how long it would take and I was desperate since I had company coming the next day who would need to use that shower. I went back to work on my agenda, and he got to work on his. It took him a solid two hours to finish, and he worked up a pretty good sweat. In spite of it all, he made sure that my office and guest bathroom stayed clean and that things looked as good or better than they did when he arrived. He went back to his truck and got the bill ready and when he was finished, I paid him. I went with Stan's because they have such a good reputation on Angie's List, but Bob had no idea about it. If someone reading this works for Stan's, you might tell people that they're being rated on the internet. Overall, I found Stan's a little pricey, but their service was outstanding and I've had absolutely no problem with the quality of their work. If you're on a really tight budget, you might keep looking. If not, they're probably worth it.

The young fellow arrived 10 minutes ahead of time. Very professional. Had the water turned off and the faucet disassembled very quickly. He showed me the washers that had gone bad after 14 years. He rebuilt the faucet and had it fixed pretty quickly. after that he repaired the drain leak and replaced the ptrap. The snake run took the longest and he explained why it was a little bit of a problem. The only shortcoming in the entire job was that he used my good bath towel the sop up water while working under the sink. Only a small thing and the faucet works like a dream. I will use these folks again.

Excellent job done in a very timely and competent manner. Very kind and honest company. I would recommend them to anyone.

The technician ended up saving me money by not performing unnecessary work. In addition to the toilet jobs, I thought I needed my drains snaked, and as it turned out it was not the case. He could have done it and charged me more, but was upfront about the fact it did not need to be done. I appreciated his honesty.

The tech was quick and professional in all aspects. He not only fixed the broken pipe, he also installed a new shower head and checked the new faucets to ensure they were not dripping.

They did a good job. They were on time and came when they were supposed to. They got the job done in a timely manner. They were pleasant and easy to work with. The price was exactly what they said it would be.

They came out and worked very hard for 2 hours inside and outside trying to find the leak, but weren't able to come up with anything. They even called another plumbing group to come out with some electronic equipment to see if they could find it and they weren't able to. I would definitely have them come back out if we are able to determine that we for sure have a leak and we can find it. They didn't charge any sort of service fee.

The plumber arrived as scheduled and went right to work. Excellent job. He got two toilets working perfectly in our 99 year old home. We are very pleased.

They were great! We didn't have any problems with them or the quality of the product. It has been almost two years since they did the work. I felt that there prices were competitive.

They are always clean and clean up well. The workmen always show up in appropriate attire for the job. If they are running late, they always call to let me know.

Stan's employee replaced a drippy shower in the bath in the guest bedroom. The problem was that the bathroom and all fixtures are customized and they are old with the original plumbing, dating from 1975. The worker worked very carefully to insure that the original customized mechanism could be cleaned up and was suitable for reuse--rather than following the pipework to my bath and closet, which would have been a much more costly repair, necessitating tearing into a wall, repainting, etc...a tremendous hastle. I appreciated the worker's tenaciousness and effectiveness. The shower now works perfectly--the first time since I have owned the property (3 years) and the worker also cleaned up after himself. This is the third job that this company has completed for me.

Excellent service. We were given a two-hour window of response, and received the promised call before the first hour elapsed. Kevin, the gentleman who provided the service, was pleasant and very professional. His work was meticulous, and he obviously took pride in what he was doing. He even cleaned the area in which the hot water heater was to be installed after pulling out the old one! When I asked him to look at an additional job (repairing dripping faucets), he was very agreeable and quickly performed that job as well. The entire project took less than three hours, with a result that is not only functional, but looks great. I could not be more pleased.
