Description of Work: I have written before about Stan's Plumbing doing repair work for me. This time I'm replacing the tile and shower fixtures and toilet in the master bathroom. Also replaced toilets in two other bathrooms. Despite the fact that I called the day I needed them to come, Ron was able to send out a plumber that morning. I had originally wanted them to come two days later, but the tile man broke off the water valve to the toilet he was trying to remove, requiring an immediate response. Bob even arrived 15 minutes early. He quickly and efficiently put on a new valve. Bob was also very pleasant and polite. Upon my inquire, he told me that Stan's Plumbing sell toilets themselves, and if I bought them from Stan's they would deliver them and haul the old ones off. He told me where I could go on the internet to look at available products and a Supply company where I could look at them. I mentioned that I wanted to put new fixtures in the shower. He took a look and informed me that the valves for my original fixtures in the shower were no longer made and that unless I wanted to put the old ones back on I would need to have the new universal valves put on. Unfortunately, he did not have parts with him or the time to be able to go back to the shop and return to do the work. So, I called Ron who was able to fit me in the next day. Allen showed up the next day on time, in a pleasant , cheerful mood. Before he was able to begin his work the tile men asked if he would help them with a broken part to the shower drain. Allen said he would try his best, after he finished with the shower valves. He quickly and efficiently took the old valves off and put the new ones on. He was unsuccessful at replacing the broken shower drain part as the ones he had on his truck did not fit. He had also run out of time and needed to go on to his next job . So, he graciously spoke to the men and suggested where he thought they might find the part. Allen told me that he would have to break through the concrete and replace the entire drain and repair the concrete if they were unable to find the broken piece. When I commented that I wanted to get the toilets through his company, he encouraged me to visit the plumbing supply company so that I might choose what I wanted. Which I did. Found what I wanted including the shower fixtures I needed. I contacted Ron told him what I wanted and arranged for someone to come the next day to deliver and install them. Luckily the tile men found the part so when Allen arrived he was able to again quickly and efficiently removed the old toilets put on the new ones and install the shower fixtures. Everyone at Stan's Plumbing managed to make, what I had made into a difficult project , an enjoyable and easy as pie for me! They were all more than pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, prompt and efficient. The amount I was charged is what I expected and included the cost of the ADA approved toilets and the shower fixtures. Happy to be a customer of theirs!

Description of Work: I called Stan's about 10:00 am, and was given a window of service time between 1:00-2:00 pm. The repairman arrived shortly after 1, and had called ahead. We had a bathtub that was draining very slowly. It was repaired in a short time, and a new flapper was put in the toilet. Great, prompt work. We will use again.

Description of Work: I had a leak caused by a faulty faucet. The plumber quickly located the cause and he had a faucet on hand that was satisfactory. He replaced the faucet, fixing the leak.

Description of Work: Stan's Plumbing Inc. fixed a toilet and a leak in a sink about a year ago.

Description of Work: I found water on the floor in front of the dishwasher one morning. I feared we had a leak from the slab floor, but the plumber found that the hose from the disposal was sagging and allowing disposal waterand debris to leak back into the dishwasher where it was spoiling, to put it nicely. I had noticed an odd odor for months when I left water standing in the sink, but had no idea what the problem was. All he did was hang the hose higher and and then run the dishwater with all the hotest options to kill off bacteria in the lines. He charged us the basic fee for a service call. We paid him not so much for the work he did, but for knowing what to do to fix an improper installation of our dishwasher. Stan's is clean and professional and the company we always call.

Description of Work: I don't recall the exact date or amount of the service but this is close, I think. We've been doing business with Stan's for 16+ years. We're in our mid 60s and have never, over the years, had such a wonderful company to deal with for plumbing related work/ repairs. Their prices have always been competitive. Over the years, they've replaced bath fixtures in tubs/sinks, unstopped drains, repaired bad float assemblies, replaced flush handles, installed water heaters and removed sinks for us during construction.

Description of Work: I had a gas and sewer leak in my crawl space. It was difficult to find and the guy was persistent. Thank goodness it's fixed!

Description of Work: We needed the handles replaced where the washing machine hoses attach to the wall. They had become badly corroded. We asked around and a co-worker suggested we use Stan's Plumbing. We called Monday morning and they were able to send someone out that afternoon. The repairman worked quickly. He was friendly and helpful. He also fixed a slow drain in the bathroom adjoining the laundry area.

Description of Work: I called Stans Plumbing on a Monday to have a leaking water line to an exterior faucet repaired. I was told I would have a plumber come out the next day. I was given a time frame of between 11:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. I got a call from the plumber at 9:00a.m. and he was at my house by 9:30 a.m. Not knowing to much about this type of repair, I was freaking out thinking walls would have to be cut out to get to the leak and it would be a nightmare. The plumber whose name was Tommy, answered all my questions and calmed me down and explained the repair process to me. I was relieved to find out it was a fairly simple job and Tommy did an excellent job. Great quality and workmanship and a knowledgeable service tech.

Description of Work: I had a leak in the wall. It turned out I had a rusted fitting inside the wall that connects to outside water hose connection. The plumber fixed it in no time flat.
