They arrived on time and were quickly working. They were professional and courteous, re-connecting the air conditioner so that the house would not get too hot even though they had not completed everything. Took the amount of time they said it would and on budget. Would use them again. We have one small issue that they will be called back out to look at, but have been very pleased with their work.

The technician was on time and did a good job.

Randall has served my house ever since I moved in. He understands what needs to be done and he and his assistant do it. Have used Hayes for 14 years and have always been pleased.

They were prompt, and helpful . cleaned up after the installation. they replaced a switch to a dimmer switch for the fixture they installed. They checked and fixed all my outside outlets.

Brenda is always a joy to talk to and all the guys do a great job, and the price is always fair.

Hayes worked our project into their schedule quickly. They showed up promptly and performed the work despite some difficulties related to our attic space. We were very pleased.

Dexter who has done all the electrical work in our new house and has also added more fixtures/ fans after the house was built has always done an excellent job. He is very thorough, professional, and very safe in his work habits. We have had no problems with any of the items he installed. He always returns calls and does work in timely manner. They were able to come out on short notice and replace the outlet so that the swimming pool pump could be utilized. We also had them come out a month or two earlier to install a couple of light fixtures and ceiling fans. As usual they were prompt and called before they came out. They worked efficiently and did an excellent job. We use them for all our electrical work and highly recommend them.

I own a Handyman Company Titled SureFix Solutions. We repair & maintain every aspect of homes and properties. We are frequently called upon for Electrician recommendations and had been subcontracting Hayes Electrical for several years with satisfied results. However, in recent times, we have a property in particular that was owned by woman in a nursing home who was renting out her house to the state in order to care for her 41 year old retarded son. She trusts me implicitly to oversee all of her home and property needs. The care givers work 8 hour shifts and regularly switch shifts at nightfall. There was an electrical short in the front porch light switch and we scheduled Hayes Electric for repair. The Porch light fixture had already been removed and when the technician arrived, he was unable to locate the short and simply placed a plate over the fixture. They informed me of the situation and I asked for alternatives to create a new Porch light. They said that they would get back to me but never called. I contacted their office again to remind them but again no follow-up. In the mean time, I contracted them to wire an electric whirlpool pump at another location. The technician wired it into place but it kept tripping the breaker. The technician insisted that it was a defective electric motor and said that it could not be wired for service. I drove to Britton Electric Motor for diagnostic and after examining the motor in less than 2 minutes, they told me I had an incompetent electrician who had wired a hot line allowing the wire tip to make contact with the motor casing, causing a constant short. I informed Hayes Electric of the situation and said that there should be no charge to me for their error. Now three months later, I called again to remind them of our pending porch light issue. Finally, several days later, Owner Gary called and said they might be able to tap into another line and put a new fixture in for $300. But he also added that we had an outstanding service charge of $82 for the call they made when unable to fix it the first time. I mentioned to Gary that they had not fixed the issue and he said that I was still being charged for them to drive over and install a plate (something my company could have done for $35). I reminded Gary that I had generated thousands of dollars for his company at which moment he immediately interrupted me and said " Were done, we don't want your business, go somewhere else!" and hung up on me. I have numerous clients who rely upon me to select reliable services performed inside their own homes and it is unacceptable for me to deal with any organization who behaves so unprofessionally. I'll leave it to the readers to decide if they should utilize the services of Hayes Electric.

The job was completed quickly and actually charged me less than their original estimate. I've used Hayes for many years and they've always been competent, dependable and most importantly honest. I would highly recommend their services.

I called and an appointment was set up for that morning. Once he showed up (on time) I showed him the light that didn't work and the fixture with the bent bulb socket (a long story). He diagnosed that it was the switch and got the first repair done in less than 30 minutes and then he fixed the socket and was on his way in maybe 45 minutes (likely less).

I was having trouble with the electricity staying on in my guest bedroom. Every time the electricity went off I would have to go to the breaker box and turn the corresponding breaker switch back on. Around 9:15am on February 20th I called Hayes Electric Company to schedule an appointment to have my electrical problem looked at and repaired. The woman who answered the phone was very helpful. Once I explained the electrical problem I was having she asked me several specific questions to try to pinpoint the source of the trouble. She asked "is there an appliance that draws lots of power like a space heater being used in that room when the power goes off?" She also asked when my house was built. After asking a few other questions, she said she would give the information I gave her to the electricians at Hayes Electric and would get back to me to set up an appointment. Twenty minutes later she called me back and said that the electricians had pretty well determined that I had an "arc fault breaker" problem and someone would be at my home around 12:00 noon to fix the problem. At 12:05 an electrician from Hayes Electric was at my door. Within 30 minutes he had checked several things and determined that I did indeed have an arc fault breaker problem, replaced the bad switch in the breaker box and handed me a bill for his services, which included a "senior citizen" discount! I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with the professionalism, friendliness, and promptness that was shown by all those I dealt with at Hayes Electric Company - not to mention the very reasonable cost of their service. I will definitely use them from now on for all of my electrical needs!

I have known the Hayes family for almost 50 years. I have the greatest respect for them. They have always been faithful to be there when they are scheduled, and will see the job through to completion. They are friendly, courteous, and professional. They will always be my first contact for electrical needs. On this particular job, they were on time, and didn't leave until the job was done to my satisfaction. I can highly recommend Hayes Electric!

Hayes Electric was very punctual (even called an let me know he could be ther earlier than our scheduled appointment). Electrician quickly removed our old cooktop and replaced it with a new one. Everything went just fine and I am happy with the work done. I requested an estimate on some exterior work we plan on doing soon. Stil have not heard back with an estimate a week later. I don't feel the need to remind them, so if I don't hear back soon, I'll use someone else. Service after the sale is very important to me.

The good experience started with the lady who took my call. She was very very polite, seemed interested in understanding my electricl needs, took notes and had the owner call me back with an estimate and details. All this happened in a short time. The best part is the two folks who came home to do the work. Since I paid about ~100 per hour, they did not slack at all. They saved me money by actually rushing through the long list of things I needed done. They adviced me of how my panels, even though they are 40 years old and on only 100 amps, will suffice and I didn't need to waste money upgrading it to the typical 300+ amps nowadays.

I was told by RPK Electric that the breaker box was bad and must be replaced, but that it was an old style smaller breaker box and the new ones were larger, and that the cost would be $1,200. RPK informed me that I should be aware that the new breaker box would extend 2 inches out of the wall, and I told them that was not acceptable, that it must be flush with the wall. RPK electric then said they would have to tear out some of the wall and maybe some of the door frame to install the new breaker box properly so that it was flush with the wall. RPK said they did not have a used certified older breaker box that would work and he did not know where to find one. I checked on the internet and could not find an old breaker box either. I decided to get a 2nd quote, since the $1,200.00 quoted replacement price for a new breaker box was so high, plus the wall tear out and work to be done to repair the torn out sheetrock would probably have been a few hundred more on top of the $1,200.00. So, I called at random per my review of Angie's list, Hayes Electric, and asked them to look at my electrical, problem the washing machine not working, not getting electricity. I did not tell them what had transpired with RPK Electric. Hays Electric said the breaker box needed replacing and had an old one on hand that might work and it did work and they replaced my old breaker box with it. I was very glad that I called Hays Electric for a 2nd quote, that they had an old breaker box, and they installed it at a very fair and reasonable price $300.00. Hays Electric could have charged me any price, $600, $900, $1,200, and I would not have known the difference, but their charge was $300,00, that seems fair to me, so I would highly recommend this company.

They were fantastic and were very good with old homes. This company is extremely quick, efficient and clean.

Hayes determined there was no problem with the electrical system in the house and the problem originated from the Cox side of the demarcation point. (Cox confirmed on a second visit that there was no feedback from the house.)

2 electrcians opened 8 small holes in ceiling between studs and ran existing electric line to each recess cam. Tied 8 new lights & 2 existing lights to 3 dimmer switches. Also other small electric work. 5 hours approx. Cleaned up afterward. Will use again

They have done work for me before. It was during a very bad heat wave, my AC was out and they got me fixed the same day I called. They said they were giving AC related calls priority. They were great.

Excellent service from the phone call to the office to schedule service until the completion of the project. Only issue was the serviceman was on his cell phone at least ten times with a family member during the job.

They are good. They came within a couple of days, and they did a beautiful job. I called them and they came out. They worked mostly in one day and came back the next day to finish it. They came in the house and put in some light fixtures that we didn't get prior to finishing the house. They were on time. They worked the whole time. They did a good work. They are pleasant to deal with. I don't have a lot to compare them to.
