Purchased items and installation from Lowe's on a Saturday. The following Tuesday, Water Heaters Plus called; we got back to them on Wednesday. David Julian did the installation on Thursday. He was courteous and professional. All work was completed in a few hours, and so far no leaks. We are very pleased! We will definitely use them in the future.

Mr. Bill showed up on time, did the installations without any problems or mess, was efficient, personable, courteous, and even laughed at my husband's jokes. The Cost of Service is what Lowe's charged us which is why I did not give a rating for Price. Even so, I have no complaints. I love issue-free installations! Both toilets look great and are functioning properly.

My pilot light on my water heater wouldn't stay lit. I called a company I had been using for 20 years. First time out they cleaned the thermalcouple. That didn't fix the problem. Then they told me to order a new thermalcouple.....they came back and installed it and my pilot light still wouldn't stay lit. Then I was told to order a gas valve....I did, and, again, it wouldn't stay lit. At that point, I was told there was too much sediment at the bottom and I needed a new tank. I spent approx. $500 and now needed a new one....I was furious. Went to Lowe's, got a new tank and Bill from Water Heaters Plus came out to install it. He looked over my old tank and told me the first company never should've tried to fix it.....it was too old and out of warranty and for the money I spent on repairs, I could've had a new one. Bill was awesome! Very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Goodbye to the old and in with the new. I will now call Water Heaters Plus for all my future repairs or installations. (I am currently working to get my money back from the first company....if I am not satisfied with their customer service I will be writing another review and it won't be pretty!!!)

I purchased a toilet at Home Depot and brought it home. Home Depot made arrangements for installation. They said I would be contacted within 2-3 days. David Julian, from Water Heater Plus, called me the very next day and installed the toilet the following day. He confirmed that I had the toilet and did not need to pick it up prior to the install. He was very professional, very courteous and ON TIME!! Great job. Cleaned up..even took the old toilet with him. He also gave me a quick demonstration of the features of the toilet. A job well done and a very pleasant experience. I have two more toilets that will need to be installed and a water heater. Without a doubt I will use Water Heaters Plus.

The plumber was late but called to be sure that was ok. He covered all surfaces and was very neat and clean, both in person and manner. He did a beautiful job and clean up after himself very well. He explained how the new equipment worked and any future issues that I might expect including how to resolve those issues. He even stopped up to look at a clogging toilet and suggested ways I could handle the issue in a cost effective manner.

The install is professional in every way and is working as promised. The owner even came out to assist, since it was necessary to run a branch gas line to feed the heater.
Description of Work: Because their best installer of Rinnai on demand heaters was on vacation when I needed a new water heater, they removed the old leaky one and temporarily installed a new 40 gallon tank. When the installer was back, they removed the temporary tank and installed a new Rinnai tankless.

Throughout both the measurement and installation phase of the project, Water Heaters Plus was professional, friendly, and helpful. When the granite top arrived at Lowe's they were very quick to pick up the slab and install it. They were very receptive to my requests in making sure the slab was perfectly aligned and placed how I wanted it. This required continual cutting of the original sink cutouts of the vanity so that the top could be adjusted. Each time they did this, I inspected the position and I am glad to say they were very patient with me and made sure I was 100% satisfied with their work.
Description of Work: I had a 72" granite vanity top installed by Water Heaters Plus. I purchased the granite slab with pre-installed dual sinks through Lowe's (United Marble) and they arranged for Water Heater Plus to perform the installation. Please note that the cost of the installation was payed to and determined by Lowe's.

Timely and appropriate responses to all questions, professional and courteous communications from district sales manager and service technician. Mechanical work looked thorough and completed. Work areas were left clean. A broken temperature control on the water heater was found at the time of installation. The serviceman left the house to obtain another controller, returned within an hour and replaced the faulty part.

I recently contacted Water Heaters Plus to get a second estimate on replacement of two water heaters in a duplex after my plumber had given me a quote to replace them. They were very nice on the phone and asked to do a site visit to make sure the water heaters I was getting were going to fit in the space allocated and that all connections were going to be up to code. The technician was able to come out the next day and take a look at my situation. He took one look at the tank on the first side of the house and noted that it was from 2010 (only 3 years old). He said there shouldn't be anything wrong with it since it was so new. I told him i was getting drips from the temperature and pressure valve (which my previous plumber had already replaced - twice). He went into the closet where the meters are and noted that there were backflow prevention valves installed and said that this was actually causing the drips. Instead of replacing the tanks, all I needed was a $50 expansion tank to be installed. On the second water heater he noted it was from 2007 (6 years old) but that it should last 10 years so probably not the issue either. I told him how our aerators had been getting clogged and he said that it's not the problem with the water heater, but with the very old galvanized pipe that was installed. He took the time to explain the flow of water through the system which proved his point. Again, not a water heater replacement issue, but a cheaper and easier fix. I asked if Water Heaters Plus could put 2 expansion tanks and replace the galvanized pipe, but it's their company policy to not touch galvanized pipe, unfortunately. I ended up doing the work myself, and all total it came to under $200 for materials. My plumber had quoted me $1200 to replace both heaters, and now I know that that wouldn't even have fixed the issue! Even though they did not do any work for me Water Heaters Plus was very professional and honest with me about the real problem I was having. I could not be happier with their technician, and when it comes time to actually replace my water heater they will be at the top of my list, no contest.

WaterHeaters Plus was contracted as part of the install service through Home Depot when I purchased the Hot water Tank. WaterHeaters Plus initially called me after I contacted home depot to purchase a hot water tank and they initially quoted me a price higher than what Home Depot quoted me. I called Home Depot to register a complaint, Home Depot immediately conference called WaterHeaters Plus Mgmt into a 3way call and helped me resolve the pricing discrepancy. After this was resolved to my satisfaction, both Mgrs from Home Depot and WaterHeaters plus promised to follow-up both before, during, and after the work was accomplished to make sure that the waterheater install was completed appropriately and my satisfaction; and both mgrs. kept their promised, and the installation crew was extremely professional and completed all of the work on-time and with the utmost quality. Much appreciated the extraordinary effort and successful resolution.

In December of 2010 we contacted Water Heaters Plus about installing a tankless water heater. We wanted Navian and they were an installer of this water heater. We had a 18 year old water heater that many of our neighbors had been replacing. As well there was a tax credit being given for this water heater if done by 12/31/10. They were able to get us an estimate quickly and were able to install by the deadline. The price was competitive for this water heater. The work was great. They were prompt and cleaned up after themselves. There is the best part. The repair guy is incredibly helpful.he has talked me through some simple issues with programming and checking things, which has saved us money and him time. They did have to come a do a flush this July as the water stopped. My error for not doing service. He e planned how we could do it ourselves if we were " handy" which my husband is. We had only needed help twice and they have been great about helping us!

I bought a garbage disposal plus installation from Lowes and they selected this company for the installation. I was contacted immediately by Water Heaters Plus and set up an appointment for the next day. The person who came to install the garbage disposal was very professional and the installation went perfectly. He explained the operation of the new disposal and gave me some hints about the best way to use it. He left the undersink area clean and removed the old disposer.

We can't say enough good things about Water Heaters Plus! This is our second time using their services. They arrive on time for the estimate and provide a detailed quote for their services. The staff are professional and courteous and show up well within the time window they provide you. They clean up after themselves and never leave a mess. The staff are happy to answer your questions and provide advice. We had two companies give us quotes for the work we wanted to complete and Water Heaters Plus saved us over $400 compared to the other company.
Description of Work: This is our second time using their services. We had them replace our leaking water heater in the past, and most recently, we had them replumb two bathrooms. This time, we had them install new pipes all new shower/bath fixtures in two bathrooms. Most importantly, another plumber told us we would have to tear out our new tile walls in one bathroom to install the new fixtures, but Water Heaters Plus was able to complete the work WITHOUT TEARING UP OUR NEW TILE WALLS!!

This is sort of a long and complicated story?and Water Heaters Plus (WHP) is weaved throughout. Unfortunately, 6 of 8 interactions were less than good. If you?re here looking for a report on a water heater installer, you?re probably like us, water heater goes out, is leaking, you have a mess, and you need some urgency. Our water heater happens to sit on the 2nd floor of our condo in a tight space. We get things cleaned up as best we can and head to Home Depot because they promise to connect you with an installer the same day. Our visit to home depot connected us with WHP and we had a smooth order/scheduling process, (although it was 2 days to install, not same day as promised, but I?m not sure who isn?t keeping their promise on that one.) (1-Grade A). However, we wanted to pay with a home depot gift card so they sent us back to the store to process the payment. After over 30 minutes of the service desk trying to figure out how to process the payment, they call WHP only to find out that the order was sent to the wrong store (2?Grade C). They indicate they?ll fix it and can I come back in 30 minutes. I return only to find they?ve sent it to yet another wrong store (3?Grade F). I say I?ll just go to the other store and get this done. As we head to the other home depot, it dawns on us that the small closet is so constrained and we decide to confirm diameter. Sure enough, it won?t fit and we must cancel the order. We head to Lowe?s?they have a size that will fit in the closet. They process the order and set up an installer?turns out to also be WHP. Same install time 2 days later. They arrive on time, are pleasant and professional. (4?Grade A). They tell me they need to go to Lowe?s to get a drip pan, I offer to go get one, but they refuse and head to Lowe?s. They call me from the road and indicate that Lowe?s doesn?t have one and they?ll get one from their warehouse, I say okay. They install the pan and tell me I owe an extra $50?yes, $50 for a drip pan that costs $15. I would have preferred they tell me that was the cost of their warehouse, as I would have picked one up at home depot where they had been available. (5--Grade C). I go upstairs to check out their work and notice that they have ?crushed and bent? the pan to make it fit (Grade D)?and wedged it between the wall and the furnace. I?m certain when the furnace would run, that was going to rattle. I call and they return to fix it. (6?Grade A). The next morning, I wake up to find water in my kitchen again. After checking the water heater, I discover that they had totally removed the air conditioner?s drain hose from the main drain hole, leaving it to leak through the ceiling (7-Grade F) I call to request a fix and it is suggested to me that I must of done that. Which was both wrong and frustrating. I did not touch anything. She then suggested maybe I didn?t do it on purpose, but the door hit it--the door didn?t even touch the hose. She indicated that they would come but it would not be the same day and I?d just have to turn my AC off until they came. I ended up having a friend make an adjustment because I was unwilling to go without AC in this heat because they wouldn?t come fix yet another error. (8-Grade F) I cannot recommend this installer as their office staff demonstrated poor attention to detail, the installer demonstrated poor attention to detail and their customer service in the end demonstrated no interest in pleasing their customer.

I came home from work and my water heater wasn't running. Tried to light the pilot with no luck. Hopped on the List, found Water Heaters Plus, and called the number listed at 7pm. Nobody answered, so I left a message with my situation, name, and contact information. Their voicemail message stated business hours were 8am-5pm, and that for after hours calls someone would call me back within an hour. The next morning, I called at 8:30am and left the same information -- name, phone number, and my situation. By 9:30am they had not returned my call, so I scheduled another outfit to take a look at my issue. It is now 4:30pm, and I haven't heard from Water Heaters Plus at all... but EcoPlumbers sent someone out who fixed my issue in short order. And you can guess which company's number is actually going to be saved in my phone for next time.

I was anxious to replace my old, leaking water heater because once they start to leak, they can "blow up" at any moment, creating a huge and expensive mess. Once the heater I'd ordered from Lowe's arrived I got a call from Water Heaters Plus and we set up an install for Friday afternoon. I didn't hear from them and so I attempted to call them but the office was closed by then. I contacted Lowe's and they got a hold of manager, Jason. I explained my concern about a blow out, also that I was leaving town for a few days. He immediately arranged to have one of their staff, Rich, come to install the new water heater, even though it was by now late on a Friday evening. As it winds up, there was a thunder storm when Rich arrived and he had to haul the old and the new water heaters through the pouring rain. Despite the torrential downpour and the fact that he'd been called in to work on a Friday night at the last minute, Rich acted as if there were nothing on earth that he would rather be doing at the moment than to replace my leaking water heater. He did a great job and was friendly, courteous and professional as well. By the way, I learned that they specialize in water heaters but work on other plumbing issues as well. I would recommend Water Heaters Plus for any water heater or plumbing need. July 2014 - I spoke with Water Heaters Plus about getting a cap on my chimney (to prevent birds coming in, etc.) and asked for info on how this would affect exhaust gas from my hot water heater. They gave me lots of information that was very helpful. In fact they even talked me OUT of getting some expensive "improvements" that would have made them money but that would have served my needs no better than a simpler solution. This company is a real gem!
Description of Work: Remove leaking water heater (natural gas), replace it with a new one. I purchased this hot water heater & installation through Lowe's. Lowe's contracts installation through Water Heaters Plus. The cost of ca. $950 was for the water heater and for the installation. July 2014 - Requested information on venting "smoke" from a gas water heater.

After researching several companies on Angie's list, I called 3 for estimates. One company sent someone to look at the work to be done and gave me an estimate of between $250 and $400. One company never returned my call. Water Heaters Plus said it would be between $179 and $199. I hadn't purchased the unit yet, so I said I'll call back when I know when it will arrive. I called back a couple days later and scheduled the installation. I was able to tell them exactly what I was getting and they gave me a price of $199.00. A couple days before it was to be installed, I found out that it was back-ordered and called to cancel the installation. They were very understanding and said to call back when I knew when it would arrive. When it was shipped, I called to reschedule and they were able to schedule it for a day or two after that. Everett showed up when they said he would. He did a beautiful job of installing the new unit and hauled away the old one. There was no mess or any clean-up for me to do and I couldn't he happier with the service I received from first call to finish.

Discovered a ruptured gas hot water tank in rental unit when I got an enormous water bill. Called several providers and went with Water Heaters Plus based on price and Angie's List rating and coupon. The employee arrived the next day at scheduled time. Worked efficiently and had the heater installed in about an hour and a half. Had to make adjustments in couple of pipe connections and in the exhaust duct work to the flue. Unable to remove old heater from premises because of tightness of stairs to basement. Would not let me help remove it as concerned about my getting hurt if it slipped. Came back the next day with another employee and quickly removed old heater. Was quite satisfied with quality of work and speed of response. Would use again and would recommend to friends (although hope it isn't too soon).

It went very well overall. I worked with Jason the owner as far as an estimate goes and inspection of installation site. The install was fairly straightforward so he was able to work with me a bit on the price from the original phone quote. Jason also worked with me on the model; I ended up going with a Rinnai. The actual installer was Woody and he did an amazing job. He installed the unit as if it were going into his home. He went the extra mile in redirecting the new intake and output from the unit. He cut, soldered and secured the copper piping so that it all was neat and clean. He also ran the gas line feeding it in a clean and neat form. Without a doubt it is the best looking thing in my unfinished basement and has worked flawlessly. James "Woody" takes great pride in his work and the installation was top notch in form and function. The only possible drawback of the whole experience had been letting the flux and solder mature to where there is no smell now in my hot water. I was a bit hesitant on this large investment and I am glad it all went very well. Unfortunately it is too early for me to tell about the difference in gas usage and savings, I will probably have to wait till the Summer for that really to tell.
Description of Work: I had a tankless hot water heater installed to replace my existing hot water heater and to qualify for the 30% gov tax credit before year's end. I was directed to them via Home Depot, for they are an installer for them. It worked out quite well. I was able to purchase and pay for the bill through Home Depot. The purchase in this set up allowed me to pay off some of the balance with Home Depot cards and the remaining amount I put on a Home Depot account, 12months same as cash.
