Universal Painting and Window Cleaning

Jay and his team did an awesome job. They were neat, friendly, and on time, I would use them again in a heartbeat.

This was a great experience all the way around. He helped select the colors first and quoted his cost. Jay and his crew took 2 days to paint everything. I’m impressed with the entire experience! They were all polite, clean & reliable. The painting was done meticulously. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with other contractors—-Universal Painting helped restore my faith that there are reliable and talented contractors still out there. I WILL use this company again when I’m in the market for more work to be done.

Jay and his team were very professional and, as always did an excellent job with our basement project. The work included a not-insignificant amount of prep on the walls, painting multiple spaces in the basement using three different colors, and painting a new ceiling. They were very proactive about maintaining a clean work space at the end of every work day, the quality of work was excellent. This is our third time having Jay and his crew paint some portion of this house, and they will always be our first phone call.

The house needed to be completely scraped, sealed, power-washed, primed, painted...you name it, it needed to be done. Jay and his team were professional and worked hard to get the job done quickly. They put additional work in where they saw a need - part of the house is over a hundred years old - and the house looks great. Even after removing a lot of the old paint you couldn't tell they had been there - everything was neat and tidy when they left after a day's work. I would call Jay again in a heartbeat.

I made an appointment for a specific day and three days prior to that date, I received a call that they wouldn’t be able to come when they said they would. I was getting the house ready to sell and was from out of town, so I had planned this job before getting the house and carpets cleaned. I had to scramble and find someone else to do the job.

They cleaned but they missed bedroom windows which I had them do before they left and never did small window on side of house.

The very best job I ever had or could ever imagine! Jay and Daniel were perfectionists, professional and thorough. I will recommend them, without reservation, to all my friends.

It was a lot of work. The quality of repairs and painting are over the top. They take a lot of pride in their work and it shows. The job took 5 days and furnishings were replaced so we could be "back to normal" at the end of each work day. My wife and I are extremely satisfied and highly recommend Jason and his team.

They were good. I don't recall the cost. It was a little bit high, but it was a good job, so I'm going to say a B on the price. I heard about them basically, from a number of searches on the internet and Better Business Bureau website and a variety of places I know.

Full disclosure, I have used Universal for many jobs in the last few years, so I knew what to expect. Universal is a great company, extraordinarily well run. The work they do is always excellent. I give Universal my highest recommendation. If you're considering hiring someone to paint, window clean, or pressure wash your home, look no further. You won't be sorry.

Jay, Dan and Graeme were fantastic! They are professionals - responsible and trustworthy and perform excellent work. Our windows are old style, with difficult storms and old interiors. Everything looked fantastic when they were done! They worked extensive hours to make things right - corrected issues when needed, and went above and beyond what was expected.

I have used Universal for 3 consecutive years and continue to be pleased with the high quality work which Jay does. Not only are all windows, patio door and storm door windows washed and squeegeed, but not a spot or streak was present on any glass surface, Jay also cleans all the autumn and winter crud that accumulates on the window frames. Jay arrives on time and gets right to work. He is an affable and personable fellow with whom it is a delight to converse. I have had no reservations about recommending him to others in our development. Jay's work is outstanding and done at a fair price.

This is the fifth time we've used Universal and we will never use anyone else. They are professional, fair, timely and easy to work with. I also like that we tend to have most of the same crew out at our house for each project. They are even nice to our dog, who is home during the day while they work. Universal does wonderful work at a fair price and I would recommend them to anyone.
