Was so surprised to hear from them so soon in the Spring. They came when they said they would be here and we were lucky to have good enough weather the roof was completed in 4 days. The gutters and leaf relief were done on Sat. as we had some bad weather. Six men came, very personable, worked there butts off and got the job done. Very Happy!!! It looks beautiful! Also, they not only worried about the roof but went into the attic and properly vented by bathroom exhaust fans which should have never passed inspection when house was built. Very professional! RJK did a great job for a reasonable price. Original builder did not vent out the bathroom unit properly and plywood was dry rotted. This caused roof to sink in spots. RJK replaced all and vented out the house. Excellent work.

The project went smoothly and professionally as spelled out in the company's proposal. There was an initial delay in the work because the awful winter we had began early and never let up until March. So while I signed the proposal in late fall, RJK didn't start the job until March. BTW, they asked my permission for this delay and I was happy to wait for better weather. Because I had a couple of nagging roof / skylight leaks, they offered to come out and cover up those areas right away before winter got rolling. I first saw RJK on a jobsite in Mentor where they were performing a full house remodel for contest winners through Certainteed's website. My first impression was that they were all wearing safety harnesses which I have rarely seen on the roofing jobs throughout my neighborhood. I approached the project manager about an estimate and was impressed with how well spoken he was and friendly and professional. He gave me his card and I added them to the list of contractors I was calling about my roof. When RJK's sales manager first came out, he did a very thorough investigation of my roof and home perimeter. He climbed up and took measurements and photos. He asked to see any problem areas inside as well. We examined the attic where he was able to identify water inlets and again took pictures. He was knowledgeable and was able to explain water stains in other areas, too. He followed up with a beautifully packaged proposal within the week. In addition to a clearly spelled out account of the work to be done and the associated costs, it A) specified all products to be used, B)provided all certifications for insurance, etc. C)offered 3 different price levels for work / products proposed and D)gave a complete picture of my home's needs with aerial picture and individual photos of each problem area. Greg (Sales Manager) was very knowledgeable about the products and what RJK would provide. And though his proposal was the highest of the 3 estimates by about $3000, his presentation was outstanding and his professionalism outshined any of the other companies. He provided security of mind that the others had not. One other company never did give me a written estimate and even asked if they could come out and remeasure. Another company asked for my help measuring the roof and provided an estimate that was very confusing and made suspect claims about the products they were using and never even inspected my attic. In the end, I made the right choice. Believe me, you don't want to go cheap on something as important as your roof. Just call them out for an estimate. You'll be amazed at the difference. I highly recommend RJK Construction.

I was very pleased and highly recommend RJK. I have not contacted RJK since the work was completed in August of 2011 and I have had no leaks or issues of any kind. Prior to this work I had no knowledge or contact with any one working at RJK. For me, who knows something about construction and home repair, they made the process of repairing my roof much easier than others offering estimates.

Replaced skylight, added leaf screen/grids to gutters and replaced shingles on entire roof of 2400 sq ft two-story home.

The folks from RJK Construction were always very professional and top quality in everything they did for us. Overall, they did an excellent job in performing an inspection of our roof inside (via attic) and outside, preparing a cost estimate/proposal, establishing a timeframe for the work to be done, and completing the job on time. They were always quality and safety oriented when performing their work, and all personnel were friendly and professional. They quickly and professionally resolved the few minor issues/questions we had. Overall, they did an excellent job, and we would highly recommend them for any roofing needs. We would most assuredly hire RJK Construction for any roofing related needs that we might have in the future.

Very well, roof removed, bad plywood replaced at reasonable cost. Work carried over the Easter Holiday Weekend, RJK removed the dumpster from the driveway for the Easter Holiday, not many contractors would care to move it out and bring it back after the holiday. Very clean team, no nails or debris left on property. Had a ridge vent pop up shortly after installation, called and RJK was there the next day to repair.

They worked hard to get the job done. They did it well and I have a dry house now. There were around 12 people the first day and then around 5 the next two days. It took about 3 days to complete the job. Everyone was very polite, acted professional, cleaned up well after themselves and I encountered no problems what so ever.

They covered the bushes before they started the work and I have found maybe three nails in the time I have worked in my yard, they did a great job cleaning up. The roof looks great. They were very professional and quick to finish the job. I worked with two people and they brought all the proper paperwork to me. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

They did their work as they said they would and it was an excellent quality job. They cleaned up well after themselves. They were very responsive when they came to give the estimate and I felt comfortable with their information. They were very professional and this was the first time I had used them.

They did everything they said they were going to do. The work crew was clean and punctual. The roof turned out great. They didn't start as soon as I would have liked but they were up front about their schedule. This was the first time I had used them and I would definitely use them again in the future. The prices were fair as well.

When my husband died, I did not want to spend more on a house that I only use one third of that was the reason I did not go with them. They were very professional. I highly recommend them. They showed me pictures of houses that they had already done.

The estimator, Greg Pike, arrived on time and did a thorough estimate including climbing up onto the roof and examining the areas that were damaged. I received the estimate in the mail several days later and engaged the company to do the work sometime in the following weeks. I received several days notice as to when they would arrive and on the morning of the work they arrived on time with a large crew ready to work. They quickly removed the old roofing material, identified problems with the existing plywood and to my surprise found several areas of the roof that needed additional flashing that they did for no extra charge. The job took less than a day and when I return from work the job site was completely clean and you would never have known they were there. Since it was a very high and flat roof I was unable to see it from the ground so I asked for pictures of the of the before and after which I received in email several days later. Overall I was very pleased with the work done and would refer this company to friends and neighbors.

They were nice and they called me back and set up a time to meet with me. They were professional and showed up 8:30am to do the repairs and fixed my roof before the winter set in.

It went well. There were a few questions about when it would be completed due to weather and other issues but it ended up being completed earlier than planned. It looks great. We hope it will last.

Many issues--began work quickly after contract was signed. However, it rained non-stop for nearly a month. This hampered their progress. Two men were sent for the job (which was pretty large for just two people). One worked diligently, the other not so much. Came at 8 a.m. and left by 5 p.m. daily and no weekends--even though the job was pushing over three weeks to complete. After becoming angry with the owner over the time it was taking to complete the job, workers began coming earlier and staying later and working weekends. I feel like we pushed too hard to have them complete the job quicker and suffered in terms of workmanship toward the end. They began really taking their time, but certainly did not finish that way. Found a few items for them to look at after the job was complete (and money was paid in full), but it has taken nearly two weeks to get someone back out there to look at our concerns.

Met with Greg after calling to request an estimate to have my house re-roofed and new soffit's and gutters. I eventually ended up selecting another contractor but would definitely consider RJK Construction Co. again since I believe this is a good company and Greg was a true professional during the estimate process.
