I received a very prompt quote for painting concrete block on the base of my house and garage. The quote was extremely low, about half what 3 other businesses wanted, so I called them to schedule the work. They said they needed 6 weeks to schedule the work. I was willing to do that based on the extremely low price. They said they'd call a few days in advance to schedule an exact date. I was told "end of June". The last week of June came and went and I got no call. I called the main number and recieved no return call for 3 days, so I called the contact person on the quote. I reached him and he said they needed 2 more weeks. I accepted this, but told him I would have liked an update of some kind to tell me they were still even coming. Two weeks went by and I got no call. I called the answering service again and asked for an update and got no return call. Again, I called the other contact person and he said they needed 2 more weeks. Again, I told them I wanted to be kept updated, but he just paid lip service to this complaint. So 2 more weeks went by so I called the main number asking if there was a supervisor or anyone else to speak with. I reached Bob and he was very friendly on the phone saying he would put me on "his" schedule, to be done in about another week. I fell for it, and a week later I still hadn't heard from Bob or anyone to schedule the job. I called them back after the week was up to cancel. This is the only way to get them to call you. Bob called back within hours to tell me my work was never delayed. If he had looked at my original quote or seen any record of my calls (I'm sure there were no records) he would know this job was postponed three times for over a month. I would never use this company for anything. I think they are just interested in big jobs and aren't interested in providing good service to someone who isn't paying them a lot.

They were excellent. This is the second time we've used them. They did a fantastic job. They have done two houses for us and they did the house across the street. We will keep using them as long as they keep doing the quality work they do.

Promptly responded to request for estimate. Responded to questions about price and quality honestly, as demonstrated by services offered. The team came to our home, performed the work as requested, cleaned up after their work, behaved suitably. We found that the porch roofs had not been cleared of all paint chips and requested their assistance. They returned and made everything just about perfect. We think it was a good decision to go with Northcoast College Painters.

Overall it was a positive experience. They showed up on time and did the job promptly. They also followed up very well.

They did a really good job. They were very responsive; he came right out, took a look at things and took care of it. We got the paint color that we wanted. They worked with care around the house and were very respectful to the property. Everything was fine. I would recommend them to the others.

Got an estimate within a few days of calling. It was $1800 but included the basement windows. When I called to follow up I got an answering service so instead I emailed the company via the email listed on Angie's List. After 2 weeks I have not gotten a call or email.

North Coast did a solid job. I received a call approximately three weeks prior to the start of the job informing me what to expect and laying out a likely start date based on the current schedule. I was given clear guidance on paint color selection. The week of the job, we were contacted and reminded about the start date and process for providing the paint colors. Our 2 1/2 story home need pretty extensive prep work. The team completed the whole job in about 1 1/2 days. Some touch-up work was required and this was handled without issue. Overall, a pretty good job and the price was 1/2 the other quotes I received. If you are looking for a good value - a balance between price and quality, North Coast is your choice!

Kieth who is the owner of the company. They initially painted these area in August of 2008. After the winter you noticed paint was peeling and there was exposed wood. You called Kieth in the springtime and he stated they would take care of the problem. Nobody came, I have called back numerous times without a response from the SP.

My husband and I were very pleased with the work done by Northcoast College Painters. The estimate was the most thorough one that we received out of the four companies we tried. We were told that the estimate we got would be exactly what we paid, unless we added on something extra, and they were right. We paid exactly the estimated cost, and the estimates from the other companies we checked with did not even come close to Northcoast's. The workers were very punctual and thorough, and did a nice, neat job on our house using high-quality paint. We have a tudor-style home, so I was a little concerned as to how the trim would turn out, but the result was great. We only had one slight issue, a few paint drips on some of our windows. We called the supervisor and he came back the next day and removed all of the drips. He was very polite and friendly. The entire job was finished in two days. Overall, a very good experience.

They had forgotten to paint the face boards. I called to complain about this, and the manager came out to fix it. They also did not clean up the paint scrapings well and smashed a few bushes. They said they would come out Monday morning to fix the problems, and they did come out at 9am. They did not require any money until the work was completed.

Over all, the house looks good, nice and clean. The work itself was satisfactory, though I did have to leave notes and ask for little tweaks along the way. Because of weather, the last of the painting on the porch was delayed, so I was unable to meet the painters on the last day (we had done a walk through on the work that was done the day before). I left a note asking the painters to repaint an area on the front porch where the mailman had tracked boot prints (porch had not been marked "wet paint") and on the back porch where the paint did not completely cover. Neither problem was taken care of. Additionally, the painters left Gatorade bottles and scrapers on the porch and left a rag on the back porch roof. They also left me all of their garbage to dispose of, and trampled most of my plants along the garage.

WORK DONE ACCORDING TO CONTRACT. GREAT SERVICE.

THEIR PRICE WAS ABOUT HALF OF WHAT EVERYONE ELSE'S WAS. WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN, BUT DO NOT EXPECT PERFECTIONIST QUALITY EVERY TIME. THE CREW DOES WHAT THEY ARE INSTRUCTED TO DO. THEY MAY NOT HAVE AS MUCH EXPERIENCE AS OTHER PROFESSIONALS, BUT DO A GOOD JOB. THE PRICE IS THE QUALIFYING FACTOR FOR THIS JOB. THE QUALITY IS OK AND THE PRICE IS GREAT. THIS WAS JUST WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR.

NORTH COAST COLLEGE PAINTERS ARRIVED WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY SPENT THREE DAYS PAINTING THE EXTERIOR TRIM OF THE HOUSE AND ONE SIDE OF THE GARAGE. THEY WERE ABLE TO WORK AROUND MY HUSBAND, WHO TOOK A DAY OFF TO COMPLETELY REPLACE THE BALCONY RAILINGS.

I HAVE USED THEM IN THE PAST AND HAVE HAD GOOD RESULTS. THEIR PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE. THEY DO NEAT WORK. THEY ARE VERY TIMELY IN COMPLETING A JOB.

YOU DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! HAD THE COMPANY COME BACK AFTER THE INITIAL PAINT JOB TO FIX SOME OF THE MESSES THEY LEFT. THEY WERE PROMPT ABOUT RETURNING TO ADDRESS THESE ISSUES. I AM DISAPPOINTED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE WORK. I FELT THEY GAVE ONLY 80% EFFORT. LATEX PAINT WAS PUT OVER AN OIL BASE PAINTED DOOR WITHOUT SANDING AND LEFT PAINT ON OUR SHRUBS.

CALLED THREE TIMES AND THEYVE NEVER RETURNED THE CALLS.

CREW OF 3 PEOPLE DONE IN THREE DAYS. EXCELLENT JOB. LOTS OF PERSNICKITY TRIM WORK AND IT LOOKS WONDERFUL. FAR LESS EXPENSIVE THAN ANYONE ELSE.

BAD ATTITUDE. CHANGED THE COLOR OF PAINT I PICKED OUT AT THE LAST MINUTE. I HAD MISSING SCREENS WHEN THEY WERE DONE, THEY SAID THEY WERE NEVER THERE. I FOUND THEM IN MY BUSHES LATER. NO CLEAN UP.
