Provided a timely estimate that was the highest of three estimates but still in the ballpark. Decided to go with another contractor based on scheduling needs.

They came out and looked over the work but never got back to me with an estimate.

Replaced back storm door and screen door. They were honest and the price was fair. They took there time and it shows. Have used Mike's Home Improvements before and will continue to use again.

I contacted Mike's for an estimate on repairing a screen door and replacing a storm door on a rental property that I have in Mentor, Ohio. I was given an estimate and advised that the storm door would need to be ordered and when I could expect the work to be done. I gave Mike's the go ahead to do the work. When the storm door came in I was contacted and arrangements were made for the work to be completed. Mike's worked with me on the job price and kept me informed of the progress of the project at all times. Down payment and the balance billing were handled in an efficient and professional manner. I was very pleased with the people and the job. I would recommend these folks to anyone.

Personable, professional individual. Was very clear and took the time to explain what he was looking at / for and clearly pointed out what problems were found, what causes the problem and how he would recommend to fix them. I was having an inspection done prior to selling my home to get an estimate on life expectancy of roof. If I were staying in the home, I would definitely use Mike to make repairs based on initial visit from him.

He said he would give me an estimate but he didn't go on the roof to look at it.

Mike the owner was on time, checked the job frequently, answered all concerns, friendly, easy to deal with, great crew, always on time. Tina, office manager kept me informed; many compliments on the job.

We were very pleased with the job he did. He did an excellent work and cleaned up after himself.

We couldn't be happier with our new siding, gutters and garage door from Mikes Home Improvement. After checking Angie's list and the BBB and getting four other estimates we decided on Mike's. They were not the lowest estimate nor were they the highest but they did have the best reviews and seemed to be a very well established company. The project started on time and would have finished on time except for a few very bad weather days. We had a man door on the side of the garage that was never used and it was an eye-sore so they removed it and prepared it to be sided over. The siding installers were Scott and Tom and to say they did a great job is an understatement, both of these guys are very professional and the quality of their work is exceptional. It was a pleasure having them work on our home and watch them transform our house from old to new, thanks guys. The gutters were installed by Bob and the whole job took about 2 1/2 hours, amazing. This is a fairly long ranch house with only 4 down-spouts and we have always had a problem with water overflowing the gutters, that is until now. Just a short time after Bob had put these up we had a huge rain and the gutters handled it better than they ever have, so thanks Bob for a job well done. For the final step the new garage door and opener was installed and although I was not here for that my wife said they too were very professional. It took them about 3 hours and they hauled away the old door and cleaned up and it works and looks great. My wife and I would like to thank Tina in the office for always being pleasant, friendly and helpful during this project as we changed our minds numerous times over color and style of siding, thank you Tina. We would also like to thank Bob who came out to give us the original estimate and explain our options as far as color and types of siding and how long the job would take and all the other particulars. Bob also came by on a regular basis to make sure we were happy with all that was happening and see if there was anything else he could do, so thanks Bob, great job. So the house looks great ,the price was right and everyone at Mike's Home Improvement was a pleasure to deal with, so if your looking to get some work done on your home, we would recommend you give Mike's a look.

The only thing I dislike was that the price was a little high but everything else, they were professional, came out on time, gave us a quote, explained why it was that much. I thought, it was a little high for what I wanted them to do.

Bill is very quick and efficient. They are very good.

They removed the affected siding and re-attached the vinyl siding, re-enforcing the area with screws and nails. Everything seems to be right so far with the repair. The builder of our home neglected to attach the siding as well as it should have been attached.

I didn't use them. He was pretty thorough and the quote seemed pretty reasonable. He gave me his estimate and his opinion on how to fix it.

Outstanding service. Mike provided a thorough, accurate, and professional estimate. Mike was very detail-oriented and made suggestions when needed. Mike was always polite, never pushy, and on-time during the sales process. While the materials were being manufactured, Mike kept me in the loop with the availability of the doors. When it came time for installation, Mike's staff was excellent. The work was performed admirably, with precision, and focus on the details, while still completing the work in a timely fashion. The work went smoothly, and the installer was top-notch. The installer pointed out a minor defect with one of the doors from the vendor. Mike was able to work with the vendor to remedy the issue, which was extremely helpful. The issue was not because of the installation, and Mike readily helped fix the issue (which he didn't have to do). The finished product was exactly what I wanted, and I could not be happier, and overall, from start-finish I'm glad I chose Mike. A great product, superior service, with excellent and quality work. I would recommend them, and will be using them for projects in the near future.

They were prompt and honest. I know a little bit about siding and the things that he was telling me I understood them. He seemed to be very upfront with everything.

Mike came out and gave us an excellent inspection of the problem areas. He was very patient and explained what he could do and what sections were still in good condition in his opinion. Because this was part of a sales agreement, the buyer had their real estate agent there to dictate what they wanted replaced. Sadly she wouldn't listen to Mike, who pointed out several unnecessary sections they wanted replaced. Regardless, Mike was very personable and professional, and didn't let her ruffle him at all. He took all his notes, went over them with me before he left, and got back to me with a $3600.00 quote 2 days later. Mike initially came out in early September, but we didn't end up engaging his services until late October because we wanted to make sure the buyer had their financing in order and the deal wouldn't fall through before we closed. Unfortunately that Mike's crew was at the mercy of the weather to get the work done on days it didn't rain. It took several weeks to complete, but both Mike and his office manager Tina were awesome in keeping in communication with us and letting us know when they thought how work was progressing. They even took it upon themselves to interface directly with the new owner as to when work would begin.. In order for the sale to complete, I had paid for the work up front so I could show the bank and the new owner that it would be done. Because Mike's is a top rated Angie's List business, I didn't have any worry that he would run off with the money. :-) He of course did not, and did an excellent job residing the sections that were needed. in the end, I did have to pay an additional $600.00 because the window boxes that had to be taken down to replace some of the siding, came apart and had to be rebuilt. No Mike's fault, they were old, and I appreciated his crew being able to adapt and fix them as they are a ridiculous feature that was required by the association.

I had a water leak in the wall in the upstairs and the plumber couldn't find the source and suggested that the vent pipe to the bathroom might be the problem. I had Mike's Home Improvement look at the roof and they found a leak around the vent pipe and also in the flashing around the chimney. They also made some small repairs to the siding on the back of the house. They worked quickly and cleaned up everything when they were finished. The leak has been fixed and I haven't had any problems since. This is the second time I have used them and I was very satisfied both times.

I had vinyl siding, new triple-track screens, gutters, and a screen door (very good quality) installed. A year later I had him install a matching screen door at the front, and an awning over my side door. Both jobs were done in a timely fashion, and they cleaned up very nicely after the work was done.

Mike's Home Improvement was AWESOME!! Mike is very professional, prompt, and his crew does great work. Tina the office manager is top notch!! Always returns calls and calls when there are changes due to weather!! Had my roof done in 1 day!! FANTASTIC!!! Clean, professional, prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable!! I will use again!!

I've used Mike's Home Improvement before when I had my roof replaced and had a good experience there so when I wanted to side the garage and replace the garage roof, I called again. Mike came out, checked the roof and was honest enough to tell me it didin't need to be replaced. Measured the garage, gave me an estimate and had samples for me to choose from right then. No wasting my time. As a single woman it's nice to find someone you don't feel is out to take advantage of you. I'll use Mike's Home Improvement again if the need arises.

They insisted on an estimate for the entire project, which already dragged things out more than we wanted on the simple repair. Then they canceled on us twice in a little more than a week. The second cancellation was about 45 minutes before the guy was to arrive.

He called to say approximately when he was coming. I left the paint out and he painted the horizontal beam holding up the front porch about 15 ft. up. No problems , went fine.

Despite two phone calls i could not get anyone out to make an estimate. Second call said they would be out that day but clearly they were not.

Very professional and a great crew. Work and clean up was outstanding. Highly recommended!!!!
