Have called several times and left messages for a return call. Absolutely no response whatsoever. I definitely do not want to do business with someone who can't be bothered to return calls to potential customers. I will happily take my money elsewhere, and will advise my friends who also need a new asphalt driveway to do the same.

They did it relatively quickly and it was a good job well done. They came the very next day after I called.

We didn't choose them because their specialty was asphalt. They er were nice and professional.

Overall the job went smoothly and as promised.

The man in charge, Miguel, is very good at staying in touch with the customer. He is strong on customer service. They do excellent work. They are very quick. They show up on time. They do the work when they promise. They offer a really good contractor experience. I will absolutely use them again.

Miguel quickly returned our phone call. He was prompt for the first appointment, explained exactly what was to be done and kept in touch. The job was done well and as scheduled. Miguel was very personable and anxious to please us with the details. We would highly recommend MCS.

They did great work and dealt with me in a professional and congenial manner. Miguel is diligent about staying in contact with the customer. MCS is one of the most reliable and capable contractors I've ever done business with.

In early Spring, I called three Angie's List recommended sealcoating companies. All three came out promptly to give me an estimate. MCS was not the highest and it wasn't the lowest but the owner, Miguel Chiappero, explained how his process for sealcoating and the product they would use. The others didn't and although I know squat about sealcoating, it was nice to have the information if I wanted to do research. Miguel kept in touch with me. He answered all my questions promptly via e-mail and as soon as the weather got nice enough to begin thinking of sealcoating, Miguel e-mailed me with possible dates for the job - weather permitting. Luckily we selected a date when the weather cooperated. Miguel and his crew were at our house at 10:00. They blew off the drive, swept it, sealed/filled the cracks and then with a long-handle brush they carefully sealcoated the edges. No damage to the grass or adjacent brick or concrete. The driveway was then sealcoated using a brush. It was done with a squeegee. The job was done very thoroughly. We have a rather long drive. They took over two hours to complete the job. Miguel stated that this sealcoating should last at least two years, if not more. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MCS.

We decided to do much more than we originally planned. Therefore, selected a contractor who could provide a wider range of services.

These guys did absolutely superb work. They arrived on time and completed the work within a couple days of starting, as promised. The company's owner, Miguel, was here to supervise the entire time. He was respectful and professional toward me as a customer and was diligent and proactive about keeping me up to date on estimates of when he'd be able to start the project. The driveway looks beautiful, and the other day, a neighbor complimented the end result. I highly recommend MCS. One of the best among many excellent contractors I've hired through Angie's List.

The format of this form did not allow me to enter in the 3 days it took for this work. They were July 26, Aug. 2 and 3, 2011. There were 5 working days between day 1, prep day, and days 2 & 3 of the work, due to inconsistent, unpredictable rain. On day 2, there was a 20% chance of rain. A couple of hours in, thunder, lightning and hail stormed in and soaked everyone. They worked for approx. 30 minutes in those conditions, to complete a portion (1/4 or 1/3) of the driveway. There was rust in my water that was being used and is visible. No rust shows in the remainder of the driveway that was completed the following day. If I'm understanding the situation correctly, the rain cooled the heat of the asphalt and that is why it shows. Mr. Chiappero assurred me that the rust will wear off and when I have the driveway sealcoated in one year, any remaining rust stain and seam, will be covered. I received bids from 3 other asphalt contractors. One was approx. 75% higher. Mr. Chiappero gave me the best price. I think he is an honorable man and would certainly hire him again.

They provided a written estimate and showed up to work when they said they would. Miguel was present during the work and made sure it was completed to my satisfaction. The required payment half down and half upon completion. I recommend them for this type of work.

Out of the four asphalt companies I called to get an estimate for the job, only Miguel was willing to meet me on-site at a scheduled time to discuss details about the job. He showed up on time and was very easy to talk to. He was knowledgeable and professional, offering a couple of different ideas on how to approach the job. When he showed up the next week to actually do the work it was even better. He showed up 5 minutes early (what contractor shows up early these days?), with his crew and his equipment in tow. Again Miguel was very professional; there was no yelling amongst the crew, no loud radios and when they finished for the day they cleaned up after themselves. Miguel explained to me the first part of the work they had done, and when they would return the following week to finish the job (we had to wait for custom window wells to be delivered). Over the next few days Miguel was easily accessible by phone for any questions or concerns. The following week Miguel and his crew again showed up when he said they would and finished the job beautifully. I really appreciated his attention to detail and look forward to working with him on other projects.

The service went very, very well. He was a lovely person to deal with; he was very nice, polite and accommodating. He did a good job; he used squeegies and brooms to apply the sealcoat. He informed me that companies that spray on the sealcoat dilute it with water so it can be sprayed which makes the coating thinner and it doesn't adhere as well or get into the pores of the driveway. There were large cracks in the driveway which he filled three separate times. My husband and I had to go out of state for approximately 2 weeks and I was unable to get in touch with him prior to leaving to give him money upfront; therefore I did not expect any work to be done while we were away. When we returned, I was pleasantly surprised that he finished the work on the cracks. We then scheduled for him to come and do the sealcoating and he came back and did minor touch up work a few days later for no charge. He did a very nice job. I recommend him to anyone.
