Miquel arrived on time as scheduled. He was polite and professional. He reviewed / asssess the repairs needed to my drive; gave me some options. His quote was very fair and competitive to others I received (actually $200 less). However, I have made the decision to not proceed with this project at this time. I would call Miquel in the future if I do plan to repair/reseal my drive.

I’m very satisfied with the work that was done. My phone calls were promptly returned and work was completed on the days and time that we discussed on the phone.

Very nice job for a reasonable price. Miquel is very professional and kept us in the loop for the entire process. If you need seal coating work done, I would highly recommend MCS. He uses high quality materials and brushes the coating on rather than spraying which results in a high quality outcome.

Extremely well. Miguel was one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. He was very responsive from the initial estimate to the job completion. He stayed in contact, letting me know well in advance when the work could commence, when the crew would arrive and, if necessary, about any delays. The attention to detail was outstanding, including the work to remove the existing asphalt and concrete to install the new drain, insuring the proper grading and pitch for the drain and the driveway (which slopes down from the road) to best handle heavy rains, and even replacing the stacked stones the crew moved away from the work site. Miguel and his crew were unfailingly professional, polite, and hard-working. I am extremely satisfied with the job!

Miguel was very responsive and kept me on his calendar as they had a horrifically wet June during which they could barely operate. The got everything done in a couple visits which lasted about 2 hours each. He even added something to the sealcoat because we have enormous trees and he believed the tree sap was causing a problem with bonding. It looks deep black and beautiful. Good company.

Throughout our communication with Miguel of MCS, we always had good contact. If I left a voice mail or sent an email, it was returned the same day or next day. We always knew where we stood in the process, what had to happen next, and if were were waiting on something, like the weather, we knew what we were waiting on. We never felt that we were forgotten.

To address some Cleveland Heights point of sale violations, I had the low parts of the driveway filled and a sealcoat applied to the entire driveway. Everything went smoothly and as expected; the finished product looks very good. Because of my work schedule, I was unable to be at the house when the estimate was made and the actual work was carried out, and this worked out just fine; we communicated entirely by e-mail. A couple of times I felt like I had to prod him to get dates set for the work to take place, but this is a minor issue, and was driven by weather delays that prevented him from getting the work done. I definitely recommend MCS.

The owner came out and was on time for the appointment to give a quote. He gave us a quote and he stuck with the quote. He met the schedule that he outlined for getting the work done.

MCS was very responsive when I called for a quote. When I asked for additional clarification, they responded quickly. I had great response when calling them on the phone and email turn-around was very reasonable. The job was done as promised and at the agreed-upon price. Their price was competitive with others who provided me quotes. In overall terms, this wasn't a big job and they finished it in about a half-day. The crack filling and sealing looks great. The patching was a big more difficult, given the rutting, but i feel the driveway looks good. Some of the finer finish points (edge of the asphalt isn't perfectly straight, etc) had very very small problems...but they are cosmetic and when the grass grows back up they will be invisible. Overall, they did what they promised, at the price they listed, without any delays or issues.

They were excellent. They came out promptly. They were able to discuss the job. We would use them again. They did an excellent job.

Called several times, only one call returned. Left a message to just come by, measure the driveway and put estimate in my mailbox. I never received an estimate.

Miguel was so responsive and I felt he went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. Upon removing the asphalt, he discovered there was a concrete patio and steps that had been covered up when the previous asphalt was done. He contacted me and recommended it be removed to avoid additional weight against the foundation and did so at his cost of labor and removal. The driveway came out great and he took the time to add some pitch to make sure the water drains properly. Overall I was impressed not only by his finished product, but also by his responsiveness and professionalism. Additionally we had him sealcoat another driveway for us and it was also great work. Very neat and conscientious. Will definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

He patched and repaired while we were there, which seemed a reasonable job, and then seal coated when we were away. We knew the driveway was not in;good shape and he said the sealcoating would probably not last longer than two to three years. We were prepared for that, as at the time we just wanted a surface that lasted about 2-3 years, but in fact we realized the next summer that the sealcoating had been put on so thinly it hardly lasted one year. We have now had a resurface done by another contractor.

Well they came on time and did it on time. They do it done. Right now the driveway is fine. I had to raise the sidewalk. The cheapest company I got was $2200 without the sidewalk repair and this one was $2400 with the sidewalk repair. The quality looks fine. The only negative that I had was they were trying to put the black top over what was already there which was in a pretty sorry shape. So to tear everything out would have been more expensive. So I'm not sure as to how much prep work they did before laying the top on what was already there. It's probably good enough and I guess what you paid for and I didn't want to go all the way to tear it out before they laid the new top.

Everything went well. MCS Contracting did a good job. The driveway just came out well.

This is a followup review. Initially, I was very please with the outcome of the driveway repairs. However, the work did not hold up well over the winter. I asked Miguel to take a look at it and he did. While the patch held up well, the crack filler has peeled off in many places and continues to do so. The loose stone used has deteriorated and is blown away with every use of the leaf blower. Miguel believes that this is because of the snow plow used to clean the driveway this winter. But in the 33 years I have lived in this home, this is the first time this has happened and the driveway has been repaired and sealcoated several times over the years. IO just don't buy it! A snow plow does hurt an asphalt driveway over time....but less than a year? As I emailed Miguel, his response is disappointing. I think he should take some responsibility for the condition of the driveway rather than blame it all on the snow plow.

I am very particular about details, quality and workmanship. They explained exactly how they would complete the job and they listened to my special requests on how I wanted them to complete several details. MCS did exactly what we agreed upon. I can't ask for anything more. I have emptied my "driveway" file folder of all the other various flyers, solicitations and mail promotions sent to me from other seal coat companies. The owner of this company is very professional and does the job right. He swept and cleaned our driveway before sealcoating. The job upon completion looked better than I expected and it looks like it will hold up for a couple of years.

Miguel is truly a professional. Very courteous and punctual. Work was done when we were out of town. When I returned there was a small patch that didnt quite get covered well enough. Miguel came the following day and corrected the work. Driveway looks spectacular!

Estimated performed in a timely manner. Date of service negotiated: we needed the work done soon; a slot opened the next day and the work was done. During preparation work, we were informed of several areas of bad asphalt (i.e. areas where the drive was worn through to the gravel underlayer). We were also informed that the sealer would not stick well to these spots. We acknowledged this condition and asked to have the job performed anyway, given that we expect to have a full job done in the next couple of years, did not want to spend that (larger) amount now but did want the driveway to "look nice" for a special event. We were happy with the quality of the job performed and were impressed that the owner was willing to not charge us for the cleaning and prep work if we had chosen to not have the sealing done; he was most concerned that we would be pleased with the job done.
