We are a full service roofing company. We also offer siding, windows, doors, and a towable dump trailer service. We have 12 employees to serve your roofing needs. We have professional Subcontractors that go through a rigourous background check for your other needs. We don't have a state license as Ohio doesn't offer them for roofing contractors. Our emergency service starts at $150.00 per hour and is billed therafter at $110.00 per hour for two professional roofers. Materials plus 10% at final billing.
We are a minority owned company that believes in taking care of our employees. We have Health Insurance for every employee along with a retirement plan set in place. We understand the benefit of taking care of our employees as this makes for more cohesion in the workplace and keeps the best of the best within our team.
Every year we set up teams within the company on a volunter basis and do the Breast Cancer Walk. We are also currently working on a project to help those in need though Professional Remodel Ohio.
All of our shingles are taken to a green facility where they use them after being recycled for new asphalt based roads. Award winning. Additional email - angela@triplepeaksconstructioninc.com.

Very professional company. I called and set up an appointment to have someone estimate the cost of repair. I got a call from the gentleman doing the estimate. We set up a time. The person showed up on time and gave an estimate. The work crew came in and did an excellent job repairing the soffits and then cleaned up after themselves. In summary: They answered their phone; made an appointment; kept that appointment; did the repair work and cleaned up the job site. I would highly recommend this company!

Triple Peaks Roofing & Construction were awesome. I called them and they came out that night and went up there and tarped my dormer. They put snow and ice shield all the way up, they did it right away and got it done before the snow came. I told them this when they came out that night, "A roofer is only as good as the guy who'll come out when you're in trouble."
Description of Work: Triple Peaks Roofing & Construction initially tarped my roof then they came back and redid my roof, the whole dormer.

Initially the process went well - they came to our house immediately and temporarily patched the roof as discussed. When the patch again leaked, they did come back to reseal it. However, the roof is still leaking into the garage and we have not received an estimate for it's repair. So we spent $250.00 for a patch that did not work and still do not have a response for work to be completed. We will be calling another roofing company to make repairs. The persons who worked on our roof, as well as Jeff were very professional in demeanor, but I could not give a higher rating for the work because it was not completed in a professional manner (leak remains, no estimate).
Description of Work: We found a roof leak over our garage on October 28th and called Twin Peaks Roofing and Construction from an Angie's List recommendation. They promptly came to our home on October 29th and again on October 30th to place a temporary plug in our roof until extensive roof repair work could be completed. A few weeks later, after a heavy rain, the roof was still leaking so the owner, Jeff Heitzenrater, came to our home to take a look. Jeff climbed on the roof and in the attic space and took some pictures. He then told my husband that he would need to take several layers of shingles off and repair the hole and that he would follow up with an estimate via my husband's email. We never received the estimate. We waited several more weeks and on December 21st, my husband contacted Jeff and Jeff's wife stated that the estimate had been sent. My husband stated that he never received it and Jeff said he would send it again. As of January 10th, we have still not received it. To make sure that the correct email was given to Jeff, my huband sent Jeff an email which he could have replied to if he had not had the iniital email correct.

In response to Member's review, first we would like to apologize to them for not receiving their written estimate to permanently repair the area that was damage due Hurricane Sandy via email. We believe that this was a misunderstanding between the salesman and the homeowner as verbal quotes were given to them however it was our understanding that the homeowner did not want to schedule the repair until Spring 2013. A call has been made to the homeowner as there is an opening to perform the repair tomorrow (1/12/2013) along with a formal written estimate has been sent for the amount that was verbally quoted.

I have list of estimates from five different providers, but have not decided which one to use. They gave me three different estimates, two estimates for the whole roof redone and one was just for the back half of the house. The first was probably around $9000 range and back half was probably in the $6000 range. Estimate for gutter replacement was for $1500. The experience was good. They were very knowledgeable in their products that they used and they take time to really explain everything to you. They wanted to look to see what kind of roof we had. The only thing that I think was an oversight on their part was that the original three estimates I got from them did not include re-sheeting of the house and it did not include the gutter estimate, I had to call them back and ask them. I do decide to use them will be because of the knowledge about the job.

The price was a little on the high side but they did a really good job. She does have a fairly large house. She had 3 other estimates and not one of them noticed she had wind damage and they did. They were the only company that pointed that out to her and also assisted her with the insurance company. She was able to get money from her insurance company because of it.

The crew tore off the old shingles and disposed of them quickly. The new roof was put on and the entire jo b was cleaned up with a great deal of care. The crew worked continuosly and were very professional.
Description of Work: Storms damaged our roof and we called Jeff to take a look. He was there the same day and wrote an estimate. From there on he worked with the insurance co. and began work 2 days later. The work involved 2 layers of tear off and complete replacement. The work was completed in 2 days with no problems. The crew worked efficiently and quickly. Except for the sound of hammers, you would not have known they were there. We are extremely happy with the work performed and would not hesitate to recommend Triple Peaks.

They told me to contact my insurance company and the claims examiner came out with one of their people. I never heard from them again. They told me the whole roof had to be replaced. I tried to contact them afterwards to see if they could work with my insurance company. They didn't return my call. I thought it was kind of weird so I moved on to another company. When I spoke with the guy from Triple Peaks, he seemed knowledgeable. He said that he had done a claims exam before for their company. He said the entire roof needed replacing and my insurance company said they were only going to replace what was done by the wind damage. I think that either the job wasn't big enough or they didn't want to deal with a partial as opposed to a whole roof. The only problem I have with them is that they could have called me and told me that. They didn't call me at all after one of their roofers came out with my insurance claims examiner. They didn't respond at all. I did try to find out what they thought about it or if they were going to try and do it. I placed two calls and they never bothered to call me back. Their punctuality was fine. They found out that my insurance company didn't want to pay for the entire roof. They didn't respond to me because the job wasn't big enough for them. The guy really acted as if he knew what he was talking about. I was a little disappointed when they didn't bother to return my call.

We received a phone call from the member on September 10th, 2011 to schedule an appointment for us to inspect her roof due to an active leak in her kitchen. Advised that we could have an emergency tarp service out to her that day however she declined and we scheduled her appointment for September 12, 2011 @ 1:30 based on her schedule. Our estimator meet her at the home and was advised that she was not the home owner, her mother was however she was sick and was taking care of the appointment on her behalf. The estimator inspected the roof and found that her mother’s roof was not in good shape but also showed signs of storm damage. It was his recommendation to contact her mother’s insurance company for them to inspect the roof and we would help them with the process if they needed assistance and would meet the adjustor if we were available. The member was advised that the entire roof would need to be replaced and she stated that if the insurance company did not pay for the entire roof, she would not have the funds to replace it in full. She asked for a quote on the entire roof that day. The quote was mailed out to her on September 13, 2011 with a phone call from the office to let her know that it was in the mail. The insurance adjustor came out that Thursday, September 15, 2011 which the estimator was not available so our project manager offered to meet with them so we could assist in any way needed. The adjustor informed the project manager that there was damage on half of the roof only and the rest of the roof was just old due to normal wear and tear. We never heard back from the member after that visit. Our normal operating procedures when there is an insurance claim, is to assist the home owner through the entire process from the initial call into the insurance company, to meeting with adjustors (even re-adjusts when the insurance company does not cover the entire area in question), filing supplements, to the certificate of completions when the projects are completed in full. When a potential customer comes to us with a financial situation which is not uncommon because replacing a roof is not a cheap investment, we have partnerships with different financial institutions that may be able to assist. We handle all types of jobs – from complete tear offs down to simple soil stack replacements. Her job was not too small for us, we just never heard back from her.

Having seen the good roofing job Triple Peaks did on a neighbor's house, we contracted them to do our roof and insulation/siding. Management was courteous and helped us make material selections. Roofing proceeded without incident; appears (so far) to be a good job. Siding, however, was a problem, with friendly crew not appearing on various days because they had to take care or some other customer. Lot's of "finishing" issues as the job proceeded (lack of or poor calking around windows; dental trim pulling away from house within weeks of installation; lack of attention to detail (rather than widen hole in stone patio floor to accommodate down spout, Triple Peaks bent the downspout into hole in patio decking which had been made smaller by insulation installed under siding). Had to call repeatedly to get Triple Peaks to address some of these issues. In the end, had to hire stone mason to replace poor quality sheeting/kick plate Triple Peaks had intalled around steps.
Description of Work: Did a good job on roof repair - tear down to deck, replacement of some deck boards, shingling and installation of ridge vents.Built/replaced cupola that had been blown off roof in windstorm. Did a poor job of insulating/siding house. Sloppy work. Improperly installed lights (two of four fell off within a week of installation.) Electrical outlets reinstalled poorly; had to call electrician in to install properly. Siding (vinyl) loose in several places. Triple peaks installed a flimsy metal sheet as an apron/kick plate around back door stairs. We contracted a stone mason who applied a nicely finished stone apron around the steps. Triple Peaks contended that the flimsy metal sheet was the best that could be done. Poorly reinstalled electric meter mast, using screws that were too short to reach siding, insulation and bite into baseboard. As a consequence, meter mast pulled away from house, taking a portion of the siding with it, leaving a warped appearance. Complained several times about this, before Triple Peaks took responsibility for problem (they referred us to the electric company, which came out and said it was NOT and electric company problem). Replaced decorative dental trim and door pedament with materials of lesser quality.

Response from Triple Peaks Roofing & Construction Inc
We handled two major repairs for the customer. The first repair was for the roof was done both on the tear-off and reinstall of the roof along with replacement of his cupola turned out beautifully. This portion of his job was done quickly and efficiently with ideal weather conditions in the fall of 2010. The second repair was the siding which was started in the spring of 2011 and unfortunately turned out to be the wettest spring (and year) on record. There were times we were just unable to work because of the weather. Or there were times because of an emergency call that came in; the crew did get redirected so that minimal damage was done because of the weather to another home owner’s home. Unfortunately, our customer service to all home owners at that time had much room for improvement. There were some issues with the siding that were able to be addressed immediately however the issue with the electrical meter HAD to be reviewed with the Electric Company first because the meter mast is THEIR property. Once they cleared it we immediately took care of the issue. The flimsy metal sheet was a temporary fix as his original siding was behind the stone steps. He elected to have his mason provide him with other options as he did not want the new siding installed adjacent to his stone steps. This was never meant to be a permanent solution to that area. Replacement of the decorative dental trim and door pediment was the home owner’s choice. Both the salesman along with the representative from the supplier advised the home owner not to replace both his wood dental trim and door pediment because they were in such great shape. He chose to have them changed and he selected the products that were to be used. As with any company, we do learn from our mistakes and have made adjustments in management to provide better customer service and planning. To our siding crews, that some of the workmanship or “sloppy work” that occurred on this siding project never happens again within the company. Also, contracts have been re-written to include waivers that a homeowner must sign or we will not take on their project if they wish to proceed against the recommendations of the company. With all this being said, we offered warranties on both the roof and siding for this home owner and will continue to service him if the need arises to include the paperwork that we just sent him so that he is able to get tax credits for his dow board insulation underneath his siding.

Triple Peaks provided excellent service. The roofers and siders on site were courteous and very professional. The owner, Jeff, was very responsive to phone calls, took time to answer questions, and met with the condo board. They were also extremely helpful in dealing with the insurance company, providing the necessary paperwork and meeting with the adjuster to discuss the damage and requirements for repair. They really went above and beyond in providing quality service. Jeff even helped us out by climbing into the rafter and reinstalling the muntons in the interior of our windows. The installation had nothing to do with the roofing work, he simply helped us out as a favor. The quality of the work was excellent and I would absolutely work with them again.

I found this company at a home fair, and also saw them on TV. The owner Jeffrey seemed very personable. He came out and talked a good game. The overall experience went fairly well. Triple peaks replaced several hail damaged roofs in our development. The neighbors told us they were pleased with their work. We found the BBB rating to be A. They also met our criteria that they be local and established. We contacted them to provide us a quote for replacing our roof. After some miscommunication and one false start, we met with their estimator to review our needs. We were pleased they would entertain upgrading our roof ventilation system to a ridge vent-shingle vents system. We were experiencing some problems identifying roofers who would install this system. The estimator was most patient and thorough in reviewing our needs and some unique challenges installing our desired ridge vent-shingle vent system. [We upgraded our ceiling insulation to R60 complicating installation of shingle vents.] The quote provided us was significantly higher than that of the contractor we ultimately chose to do the work.
Description of Work: We had Triple Peaks Roofing provide us with a quote to replace our hail damaged roof and upgrade our roof ventilation system.
