The woman at the front counter was friendly and knowledgeable, the workmanship was excellent, the price was reasonable, and the were shoes ready when promised. I will definitely use the Italian Cobbler for my shoe repair needs again.
Description of Work: My favorite pair of 17 year old black heels was falling apart. Each shoe had a large hole in the sole, and I wasn't sure if they could be repaired. I was told that the shoes needed half soles and that they would be repaired and ready for me in 4 days.

+ -1 moreThese people know exactly what they are doing and do a wide array of things besides shoe repair. I was told when I brought my boots in that it may take a little longer than usual as they had to order something to make the repair, stating the only reason they were out of what was needed was because of the volume of repairs with winter approaching. They also stated that they would do the best with the shoe with the cracked sole, in gluing it together but could not guarantee it.
Description of Work: Totally resoles a pair of expensive boots with soles I got to pick out. Glued crack in sole of one shoe. Both the boots and shoe came out great. They are very skilled in what they do.

+ -1 moreI had a wonderful experience with The Italian Cobbler. The woman at the counter went over each piece with me when I brought my load in, and when she wasn't sure about how they would fix the purse and the jacket, the cobbler himself came out and looked over them. I am extremely pleased with the final results, especially the shoes and the coat. My husband will get another 15 years of wear out of his bomber jacket ... and I won't cringe when I see him wearing it anymore. Thank you!!! I will definitely be back.
Description of Work: I took in three pairs of shoes: one pair needed a seam restitched; the second pair needed to have the leather refinished; and the third were a fabric-covered pair that needed new heels, fabric reglued, and a shampoo. I also had them repair the handles on a purse that had broken. And finally, the big project: I took in my husband's beloved frayed leather bomber jacket, and they put new cuffs and trim on it and conditioned the leather.

Description of Work: Glen is the owner and we have taken shoes to be re-soled and boots to be repaired. I had him make a belt. He took measurements and made the belt.
