Very professional, showed up on time, did a thorough job. Made several suggestions for different ways to do the repair, was willing to look at other projects I needed done and give advice.

We were very satisfied with them because they came on time, were polite, and they did what they said they would do. It went smoothly and we have no complaints.

They came out and gave an estimate. They kept their time frame that they quoted. They did excellent work and cleaned up after themselves. The cost was reasonable. The workers were very professional, friendly, helpful and responsive.

They were on time. They were very professional. I would use them again in the future if I had any problems. They were very kind. They explain everything to us very well.

I called and set up an appointment for an estimate. No one showed up at the set time. I never received a call to say they couldn't come or to reschedule.

The job was started and completed in just one day. The crew cleaned so well after the job I couldn't tell anyone was there.

I received different opinions from several roofing contractors about what needed to be done to repair my chimney. I decided to call Chimney & Masonry Company based on their positive Angie's List reviews. I'm glad I did. John came out soon after my call to inspect the chimney and provide an estimate. I was so pleased with his quote that I had him extend the estimate to include some additional work on my front steps. The workmen arrived on schedule about a week later and proceeded to perform their job in a professional manner. I have since had my roof replaced and I asked the roofing contractors (workmen) what they thought of the work that was done on my chimney. They gave it a big thumbs-up!

I had a previous estimate from another company for $5000, chimney and masonry co. Did the work for less than half. He did a great job on both chimneys. They didn't ask for money up front. I paid them when the work was complete.

They did not do a very good job. I went through a lot of verbal abuse from this company. I do not think this company is a good company. I ended up going through BBB arbitration, and they were very reluctant to comply. The owner never even showed up to the arbitration.

They did the work while I was not home. They did a good job and cleaned up well. When I inspected, I found there were areas that had not been done. I called them up and left a message with the secretary. The owner called back a couple days later and said that they would be back out. The crew came back out and I showed them all the areas that were missed. He apologized and did all the other spots. They were very good. I was expecting a lot of problems because of having to come back but there were none. He had I inspected while they were there to check again. I would recommend them and would hire them again.

They were friendly, professional and on time. They did a good job.

The men who showed up were very prompt, and worked diligently. The work area was very neat, and cleaned up very well. John made time for my project, two weeks after placing the call for service. This worked fine for me. The men were done with my chimney in a timely manner. No leaks so far!!

Our two chimneys were chipping and flaking away over time. We called Chimney & Masonry Co. John Anghilante, the president, came over to estimate after 5:30, a very convenient time for me. He immediately recognized the defective brick, supplier, and date of installation. He gave us an estimate for the chimneys, suggested another repair by the front door, and agreed to another repair on one wall. His crew showed up promptly on the designated date and had everything finished by 3:30 the same day. It was a beautiful job and I wish the rest of my house looked as good as those chimneys! They did a terrific job cleaning up also, as you could not tell they had even been there. We are extremely impressed with this very professional outfit and would recommend them to anyone. I looked for the best fit for us on Angie's List and called only Chimney & Masonry Co. I did not comparison shop, so I cannot really grade the price.

The Chimney and Masonry Co. did a fantastic job! They were prompt and professional. My new chimney looks great! I am so impressed with how my new bricks match with the old bricks. As for cleaning up, when they left there was no trace that they were ever there! I would use no one else!!!!

John scheduled a time to come out and when he was running late he called to see if it was still okay to come out a bit later. When it was time for a decision on who to do the work this company was my second choice. They were $50 more than my first choice and were not going to do quite as much work.

I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. MAJOR HOME REPAIRS CAN CAUSE LOTS OF WORRIES. THIS COMPANY'S QUICK RESPONSE AND HIGH QUALITY WORK TOOK CARE OF CHIMNEY WORRIES IN A HURRY. LET ME ALSO ADD THAT THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES VERY WELL. YOU COULDN'T TELL I HAD WORKMEN OVER AFTER THEY WERE DONE.

THIS GROUP WAS RECOMMENDED BY TWO OTHER CHIMNEY SWEEPS, ONE BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO BUSY, AND THE OTHER BECAUSE THEY DID NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE. BECAUSE I WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE ANOTHER PROVIDER, I'M UNABLE TO COMMENT ON COST.

NO WORK DONE AS I WAS UNABLE TO GET ANYONE OUT TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE! MUST BE NICE TO BE SO BUSY!!! I DID CALL THREE TIMES. HAD ONE APPOINTMENT THAT WAS EVENTUALLY CANCELLED AND WAS TOLD HE WOULD CALL BACK ON THE FOLLOWING MONDAY. THE SILENCE HAS BEEN DEAFENING.

THEY WERE VERY POLITE. THEY WORKED FAST, COMPLETE & CLEANED UP.

MARK WAS ON TIME, VERY PROFESSIONAL, INFORMATIVE, AND FAIRLY PRICED. JERRY & HIS CREW DID A NICE, CLEAN JOB & WERE VERY COURTEOUS WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS I HAD. MARK EVEN CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY AND FILLED TWO SMALL JOINTS THAT HAD BEEN MISSED.

THE WORKERS WERE ON TIME, POLITE, THOROUGH, CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND DID A GREAT JOB. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN THE PERFECT EXPERIENCE EXCEPT THAT DESPITE REQUESTING A QUOTE FOR THE ITEMS ABOVE TO INCLUDE THE FOUNDATION STONES UNDER THE FRONT PORCH AND AN ESTIMATE THAT STATED THAT IT INCLUDED FOUNDATION STONES, AND MY CALLING TO CONFIRM THE ESTIMATE INCLUDED ALL WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE, I WAS STILL CONFRONTED WITH AN UPSELL AS THE WORKERS WERE MORE THAN HALFWAY DONE. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE $125 MORE TO DO THE STONES UNDER THE PORCH, OR I COULD EXPECT A LESSER JOB DONE ON THE REST OF THE HOUSE. OF COURSE, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE EXPENSIVE FOR ME TO CALL SOMEONE OUT ALL OVER AGAIN TO DO JUST UNDER THE PORCH, SO I WAS FORCED TO PAY THE EXTRA MONEY. THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST FEARS OF A HOME OWNER (AND A SINGLE WOMAN AT THAT). A VERY DISTURBING EXPERIENCE AND ONE THAT I HAD HOPED TO AVOID WITH ANGIE'S LIST.

EXPLAINED REPAIRS IN DEPTH. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. SHOWED UP AT TIME PROMISED. GREAT COMMUNICATION.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH HIM WAS WONDERFUL, VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL AND HONEST.

I HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY.

HE CALLED AN HOUR AFTER THE APPOINTMENT TIME, AND SAID HE COULDN'T MAKE IT. HE OFFERED TO RESCHEDULE, BUT I DECLINED.
