I called for an estimate and the company was out to examine our problem within a day or two. I was not home at the time they did their inspection so I cannot comment on them in person. However, I received an estimate in a very short time. I did not decided to use them as they were more expensive than another company but was impressed with their responsiveness.

Our 40 year old chimney was in bad shape. We had to have it torn down and a new chimney built. We were very satisfied with The Chimney and Masonary co. They were very professional. The chimney looks good. There was a little interior damage to the wall in the living room. They sent a painter and he did an excellant repair job.

They were very good and awesome. They were neat and they always have someone to get back with answers when calling. Definitely the best price as well. I have antique brick and they could match which made me very happy. Overall a very professional company

Estimator came out and gave me two estimates, one for breakdown and rebuild, the other for breakdown and cover over. I chose the first. Two workers came out in the morning on time, did the job, cleaned up and left. Went well.

Needed to have this work done. Contacted several contractors. John swung by within days of me contacting him and provided a quote for services. The quote was very accurate, and only one addition was needed. They were able to schedule within two weeks of contract. The contract and quote were easy to read and specific. The workers were polite and professional. They cleaned up after the two days. Will absolutely refer them or call them again

He was wonderful, and he did an excellent job. He was very quick. It was the third job. I think his price was in the ballpark, and he was really good. I would absolutely use him again in the future.

It went really well. They did everything that they said that they would do. Their estimate was right on. There was a delay in scheduling, but once they got us on it went well.

This was one of very few providers that I could even get to respond to my calls in late summer, so that's a plus. I provided him pictures of the chimney that I received from a roof company, and he gave me an e-mail estimate and said the work would be done by the end of September.I hadn't heard from him by the last week, so I called and got no response. However, I came home from work one day and the work had been done, and there was a bill in the mailbox. I mailed the bill, but when my roofer came, he told me the chimney work was bad -- the bricks were crooked still, and the holes in the bricks were still exposed, with standing water in them already, that would definitely cause me problems later. He gave me pictures and a drawing of the problem and suggested I contact the company. I haven't yet, but plan to.

They came in quickly and did the job, although the plant came back the next year. Since then we used another guy to get all the roots out because it is a difficult spot. They came promptly and when they said they would.

This company seems busy, so it took a few weeks to fit me into the schedule, but that's ok. When they finally had an opening, they called, and scheduled me for a Friday afternoon. They performed the services requested, and had good communication with me. They cleaned up after themselves, and even came back promptly to retrieve a piece of wood from my roof that was left behind. There's a one year warrantee on the work performed. I'm satisfied.

CHIMNEY & MASONRY CO We had gotten 3 estimates, and Chimney & Masonry Co. had told us that our basement windows needed to be replaced. So we went with them. Chimney & Masonry Co., was the highest bidder, but their price included the basement windows in it. Chimney & Masonry Co., were very nice, very professional,clean up after themselves, I can't say enough good about them. We felt safe around them, and we are very pleased with their work.

It went great! John put me on a priority list and got me in sooner then he expected. He arrived early, set up and got the job done in one day. The new chimney is great! John and the crew were very careful with my roof and the rest of the house. They made sure that they took all the precautions needed for this job.

Quick, friendly, honest, straight forward estimate. Work was done quickly and cleanly. Very happy with the results. Looks great.

They called back but they never gave me an estimate. They never followed up after that.

The covered the furniture and the rugs. Took out the stones and cut a replaced them on the side of the fire place opening.

Communications excellent: John Anghilante kept us informed daily on weather impact to schedule Professionalism: Crew of four were prompt, courteous, cheerful, and very mindful of minimizing the mess. Quality: I am not a mason, and the work is too high for me to inspect, but it looks great and I watched the crew work; they were focused on methodical in their approach. Cleanliness: Worksite was left very clean.

Very professional. Same staff for demolition and re-building. John was very responsive and the staff were polite, hardworking, and excellent masons. They worked in rainy weather, but built tarp tents around the work area to keep dry. I used them for this work because they had done an excellent job on rebuilding my chimney a couple of years ago. Their price may be higher than others, but the work is SO worth it.

They came on time, gave me a quote on the spot and were very professional. Their quote was more than I wanted to pay since they wanted to tear the chimneys down; I was hoping they could just be repaired.

Very well. They are very committed to customer satisfaction. I was not at home when the job was performed and asked that they come back out to do some touch ups and to fill a hole on the side of the porch that they "forgot" to fill. They sent a young man over that very evening to have me show him what areas I wanted touched up and where the missed hole was. The young men said he could have sworn they patched the hole on the side. But the hole was still there. He promised they would fix it all the next day. They came back out the next day - I was at work. I came home - front of steps looked great. However, they again "forgot" to fill the hole on the side. I called right when I got home from work and complained that they missed the hole AGAIN - they sent someone over right away. He tells me he thinks a chipmunk might be the culprit. Sure enough, when you looked at the hole up close - you could see CLAW MARKS where a chipmunk was digging his way out through the soft mortar. So we weren't going crazy we had a 4 legged vandal! He used hardware cloth to fill the hole then put in the mortar. And voila! Next morning - No more holes! They were very patient and understanding through the whole process.

Extremely poor work. The chimney cap was simply covered over with a thin layer of improperly mixed mortar (too wet), which cracked again immediately. A second attempt was even less successful. The walkway and stairs were reconditioned successfully, though poorly, and the mason apparently used the same mortar mix the chimney mason used for his work and it didn't even come close to matching the old mortar or the stone. I will say that I believe the owner of this company - which sells and installs gas fireplaces - is a sincere and honest businessman. I think we experienced two bad workmen, or freelancers. I refused to pay for the chimney cap, and while the walkway work though not aesthetically pleasing at least stayed in tact.

Their price was pretty reasonable. They did a real good job. They were professional and responsive.
