It detailed all the work to be done and the materials to be used so we knew what to expect and what we were getting right from the start. Ashley was a tremendous help selecting paint colors, luxury vinyl plank flooring, and carpeting to achieve the look that we wanted. Fred, Johnny, Jensen, Devin, Joe, David, and Jessica all worked on tasks in the basement at various times during the project. They were all very professional, friendly, and easy to work with. They were very responsive whenever we had questions about the work. They arrived punctually each day and let us know if there was going to be a change in work time. They worked hard and were efficient at completing the project. They were well qualified to do the work assigned and did a great job. Beautiful Basements did an excellent job communicating throughout the project. We received texts letting us know what the next task was, who would be performing the work, and what time they would arrive. "ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE! Absolutely disrespectful! Had Jeremy come out to give me an estimate. I am in the market for a basic garage door, with no opener. My boyfriend is able to install a garage door opener and save approximately $200. I have received over 6 estimates from various companies. I do my research. I am well aware of the model number, brand, color, window and insert name, as well as thickness of insulation needed for my door. I don't want to waste anyone's time. I know what I want. After explaining this to Jeremy, he immediately accused me of being in the garage door sales business. He insinuated that I was getting a "fake" estimate to test the market. He stated that since my boyfriend can install a garage door, we must both work in the garage sales business. Absurd, I know. I assured him I/ we are not, and that I genuinely wanted an estimate. He was relentless. After being accused about 3 times, I felt uncomfortable in this situation and told him I needed to leave. I was getting this estimate alone, and was starting to feel very uneasy by his entire demeanor. Not only was he rude by being relentless in the accusations, but he also flat out called me a liar, when I told him I was getting a garage door opener with 2 remotes, and keyless outside entry for $200. He said if I could get them at that price he would buy stock and purchase all of them. OK, so now I admit I'm starting to get a little ****** at this time. I know he had no intentions on giving me a proper written estimate, so I handed him a sticky note with my email and told him just to email me a quote. When he was proceeding to get into his vehicle, I asked if he was the owner of the company- he said yes. I had every intention on reporting his actions to his superior. He left. A few minutes later, I call him. I wanted to let him know he if he "wanted to buy stock" in the garage door openers I have the model number and location of where they can be purchased. More or less, I wanted to prove to him that NO, I am not a liar. I called him out on how inappropriate his actions were and told him to rip up my email and that I will not be doing business with him. I did not let him get a word in edgewise- I hung up. Seconds later I get a text from him apologizing saying he had a bad day and didn't mean to come off unprofessional. I did not reply. I don't care if you’re having the worst day possible, this was no excuse for being treated this way."

"I would give zero stars if I could. This company is absolutely terrible. ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A SMALL MOVE, DO NOT BOOK HERE! I had a small move (approx. a studio apartment’s worth) from PA to OH and booked my move over a month ahead of time. I was told that since I had a small move, my stuff would have to go on a truck with a larger shipment - understandable. They gave me the “standard” 3-week delivery window, but I was told by Luke that they would “work with me on dates” and that they would have “no problem getting it there within a week”, most likely 1-3 days. Those were complete lies. I also tried to be as flexible as possible and gave them multiple options for days for pickup. As the weeks went by and it got closer to my moving date, I periodically asked for updates on dates. I got no answers. One week away from when I was supposed to move, I still didn’t have any idea when my stuff would be picked up or delivered. All Luke would tell me was “no update yet”. At this point, I had to scramble last-minute to book a different company. LESS THAN ONE WEEK before my move, I cancelled with Allied and only AFTER CANCELING did they FINALLY give me POTENTIAL dates. Terrible communication and customer service. Book somewhere else!"
