I highly recommend Dan and his team at Beautiful Basements! During the initial call, Dan clearly explained the estimate and planning process. After the first visit, he provided an itemized estimate and diagram of the project. Dan was also very responsive when I would reach out with questions/concerns/changes to the plan. The team was friendly and professional, well organized, and cleaned up after themselves. They also provide a designer free of charge that gave us excellent recommendations on carpet, paint color, bathroom tile, etc. It was also convenient that the team at Beautiful Basements includes a plumber and electrician. We couldn't be happier with the result, and the overall price was similar to other estimates we got. If you're planning to finish your basement, you can't go wrong with Beautiful Basements!

Simply put, Beautiful Basements did an incredible job with transforming our vision into a reality! It all started with our initial consultation with Dan. When he presented us with a first draft of the layout, it was clear he listened to our ideas, wants, and needs. We were impressed with the level of detail he provided, including accurate blueprints, an organized and thorough bill of materials that would be used for the project, and a full cost breakdown. We greatly appreciated this transparent approach. Our project team - Jensen (our awesome project leader), Jonny, Devin, Kris, and Fred - were a great crew to complete the project. They were always willing to answer any questions we had, and always encouraged us to walk through to see how progress was coming along. They were very respectful of the working environment, being sure to clean up after each day on the project. Outside of the high level of workmanship they demonstrated during the project, they also brought the perfect blend of professional yet personable attitudes each day. It was awesome to get to know such a great team throughout the few months we worked with them. There were a number of interior design choices that felt overwhelming (e.g., flooring options, paint color themes, finishes & fixtures), but Ashley made the process painless! She was amazing to work with, and consistently went the extra mile to bring additional options to us, provide recommendations where needed, and stay in constant communication with us. The design work and overall aesthetic brought an already amazing project to the next level and furthered the “wow” factor. Overall, we were extremely impressed with the entire team at Beautiful Basements. From bringing our vision to life through an amazing and top-quality basement product, to keeping us informed of key milestones and always being available to answer questions, it was an amazing experience working with Beautiful Basements. We highly recommend their business.

We used Beautiful Basements and we are so thrilled with the final results of our basement. We had 4 different contractors come out to quote our project and Beautiful Basements was very competitively priced compared to other companies. The owner, Dan was very knowledgeable, honest and executed our vision for the basement. He gave us a clear timeline of how long the project would take and was great at communicating and keeping us in the loop. They also had an interior designer on the team to help us select paint colors and flooring (we didn’t know this was included in the quote and was a great added bonus). During the construction, the job site was meticulously cleaned at the end of the day and all the workers were extremely courteous and respectful and I felt safe having them there even with small children in the house. The main guy working our job site was Jon. He was so nice and did an amazing job with all the little details and was extremely professional. Overall the process was very smooth and the result was awesome. The attention to detail was amazing and our basement turned out better than expected! Thank you Beautiful Basements

Wow! We love our new basement space! Beautiful Basements did an amazing job for us. It’s hard to find words to describe how pleased we are with the job they did for us. Included was a beautiful new full bathroom and new higher windows to improve the view to the outside and to let in more light. It doesn’t feel like a basement anymore, but like another living room. The guys doing the work quickly became our friends. They arrived punctually every day during the construction period and were very diligent. They made sure they were doing everything exactly as we wanted. Every afternoon when they left they cleaned up meticulously. A continuous timeline of work was adhered to. Plumbers, electricians and inspectors all showed up promptly, so there were no wasted days. Everything was as Dan had promised us, only better. Dan and Ashley stopped over frequently to make sure we were pleased and satisfied. Ashley helped us so much in picking out our flooring, paint and bathroom fixtures. Without her it would have been a tough task, but thanks to her advice and suggestions, the process was very easy and enjoyable. The cost was lower or at least in line with other quotes we obtained, but I doubt we could have gotten the same quality from anybody but Beautiful Basements. I highly recommend this company.

The quoting process was incredibly stress free. Beautiful Basements took all of my ideas, laid out a detailed floor plan, and executed well within budget. The crews were pleasant, and very professional. Their craftsmanship was above and beyond. 100% will use again!

Dan and his team were very professional and knowledgeable about the work. The planning and estimation process was very transparent. No hidden costs or surprises. All work is done legally with a professional contractor for plumbing and electrical work. Different options and recommendations are shared through out the project work. Crew was very polite, respectable and professional. They made sure no unnecessary noise was created and kept the house & working area clean. They would clean up after the work. I will recommend Beautiful Basements for any remodeling work and especially for the basement remodeling.

Dan's crew is awesome. They are mid-price level, specialize on the basement renovations and do an excellent job at at. They did our basement. Now it looks like the prettiest part of our house. They work quickly but do not cut corners. It is useful to ask them for advice since they have been at it for awhile and now what works. Everyone on his team is a pleasure to interact with. Dan keeps track of all the little details. How this stays in his head amazes me. Fred tells it like it is and is an excellent source for advice and wisdom. Mark puts up with all the extra work that we put on him and then goes around and fixes tiny little imperfections that I would have overlooked. Don looks like Billie Bob Thornton in his prime and can do just about anything from tile laying, window installing to siding work. Dave quietly gets the job done. Dan has cracking crews of plumbers and electricians that seem to appear at just the right time to get the whole project running smoothly. Thank you for your work, gentlemen. Finding good, trustworthy and reliable contractors nowadays is so difficult..I searched high and low, almost like an interview process. When one contractor would seem like a good fit, they would disappear. Another contractor would come along and half the time I wouldn’t get my quote or drawings. I even had a contractor tell me a price without bothering to tell me where my money was going. This was not my experience with Beautiful Basements. I enjoyed the process from start to finish.. Dan, the owner, personally came to my home to collaborate with me and explain ways that would improve the quality of my space while helping me understand why certain ideas may or may not be in my budget. He even told me ways in which I could save money. What a rarity!! By understanding all the facets of my remodel, I was able to effortlessly follow his price structure and why certain things needed to be done.. I’ve never had a company break down a quote the way Dan did; it was impressive. The crew that came into my home worked tirelessly to stick to the timeframe they promised, and they were so respectful and trustworthy. They were also knowledgeable when I had questions and took the time to answer them for me. I enjoyed working with this company so much I hired them to remodel my bathroom. This process went just as smooth and effortless as my first project with them, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the final product. Do yourself a favor and call this company- you will save yourself a lot of time and effort, and you can leave the remodel to the professionals.

I was very happy with how everything went. They're very professional, courteous, very proactive to address everything that's needed to be, and detailed oriented. Mark and Fred, who started the work with the framing, did an amazing job of maximizing the space we needed, specially around the ceiling. On the other hand we have Dawn and Kris. They did all the finishing work, they were very attentive to what we needed, and the amount of preparation work needed.

These guys and the work they did is amazing. Extremely professional and I feel the quality of the work is second to none. I just wish I had done this sooner. All the space that was added to our home is something we have dreamed about for a long time. My kids love having their friends over and watching movies in our finished basement. Highly recommend this company.

We used Beautiful Basements for a basement finishing and waterproofing for our previously partially finished basement. The crew was amazing especially Don, Fred, and John from the waterproofing crew. All of them made sure that everything was perfect for us and that any changes or issues we ran into because of our house was handled quickly and to our wants. The completed job is absolutely beautiful and gave us a whole second living area to our home. The only complaint we had was the Bher's paint scuffability (supposed to be scuff proof) which isn't anything they can help! Dan and his crew really go above and beyond and really make sure everything runs smoothly during and after the job is completed. We definitely recommend using them for your project and truly love our results!

We had an amazing experience working with Beautiful Basements to finish out basement this past July. Dan is great, and extremely thorough in all that he does. His estimation process is completely transparent, and his pricing is very competitive. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and quality of work performed by Beautiful Basements. We finished approximately 80% of our basement--leaving some unfinished spaces for storage. Dan provided the perfect layout for a living space, home gym, and full bath and we worked with Fred, and Mark to piece it all together. Fred and Mark kept the project on schedule and made several awesome suggestions as they worked to help us minimize soffits, arrange for custom in-wall shelving, and maximize the overall living space. We then worked with Don and Kris to close out the project. Finish work can be very time consuming and extremely tedious. I'll be honest--paint day can be scary. I have seen botched paint jobs in other houses first-hand due to poor prep. I was absolutely blown away and very pleased with the amount of time that Don and Kris spent prepping before even picking up a brush. These two had their work cut out installing shiplap and custom shelving in multiple rooms and they handled it to perfection. Dan and his team are true professionals. They were always available to answer our questions and flex when small adjustments were needed. If I had to do it all over again there is no doubt in my mind that I would bring them back.
