Walls Carroll Electric

After months of battle with the generator manufacturer (finally got a new logic board), the guys at Walls-Carroll came in and wired everything up. The previous installer had done a REALLY poor job, and very few things to actual code. Unfortunately, he went to jail.....so..... The guys at Walls-Carroll came in and described, in detail, the work they were going to do. It took several days to re-install the generator, including running all new cable from one side of the house to the other. It was not an easy task. They did it with a quick lunch and a smile. After testing, we found out that we needed a new control/charging cable (like a thermostat wire). The guys didn't blink an eye and brought over new control wire and ran it. Again, with a smile. The final day was wiring the ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) and testing the system. Everything works great! A week later, the guys came over to install (3) new 240V outlets in the detached garage. This was a one-day project and went very quickly. The only surprise was the new control panel (had to upgrade because of the new outlets; NOT due to anything Walls-Carroll did/said). We now have the extra 240V outlets, as well as an outlet-sized 'hatch' to run any wiring outside (the air compressor will eventually be moved). The only thing I did was open up the cardboard box for the new control panel. LOL They even vacuumed up the dust from drilling through the drywall.....on the OUTSIDE of the shop! I will absolutely be calling Walls-Carroll for any big (or small) electrical projects.

After a lightning strike affected our home we called Walls Carroll Electric to have them conduct an inspection of the electrical systems. Mick and Shane arrived on time, conducted a thorough inspection and reassured us that there had been no major damage. At our request they installed a whole house surge protector and lightning arrestor, at a reasonable charge, in case lightning strikes again. I was very pleased with their service and would call them again for any future electrical work.

Called and left a voice mail explaining the problem I was having. Asked for a call back, never got one. Called again and scheduled a Friday afternoon appointment. No one showed up, no one called that they were running late, nothing. I called around 4 PM to get an ETA and could not leave a voice mail because their box was full. Then tried Saturday and nothing. The most unprofessional experience I have ever had with any sort of service provider.

They arrived on time, went to get the supplies they had not know that they would need because I had changed since the estimate, Removed the lights already up, changed the wiring in the hall, installed a light. Found the problem with another light I was going to have installed. Gave advice on returning and replacing it. Were very helpful with advice on lighting things I did not know.

They performed the job quickly and neatly. Unfortunately, they were non-responsive when called following the service call to ask if our tools may have been taken by mistake. Calls were made for a week to try to schedule additional work installing 2 light fixtures, with no return call to multiple messages. I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of communication and my money will now go to Bradley Electric or another cost-competitive and communicative local provider.

They were prompt, professional, knowledgeable and entirely great to do business with! Mick & Shane are great!!

Everything went just as planned. I began my search by getting three different bids. Walls-Carroll was not the cheapest of the bids (though it was very similar to the others, and there was an Angie's list discount), but of the three we felt like Mick from Walls-Carroll was the most honest about the work we needed and that he was the easiest to communicate with. I got the quote several months before we got the work done. Mick came out a second time to double check the work we needed done. We were able to schedule the work very quickly. He estimated the cost and how much time it would take to finish the job. Both estimates were spot on; the price was exactly as quoted and the time it took to do the work was spot on. Most of our communication was done by phone and I rarely spoke with anyone when I made the call, but I always received a call back very soon. I would recommend this company and will use them again if I need any electrical work done.

They were great, the same guys who did the estimate did the install and they were able to do the work the day after I called to schedule. They were very professional, punctual, called before they got to my address, wired exactly how I asked...I could go on about how wonderful they were - it was really just a great overall experience and I would recommend them anytime!

They scheduled service within a few days of my initial call. They arrived on time, performed the work meticulously followed by a thorough cleanup. They were personable and courteous. Price was reasonable. Would recommend them highly.

I contacted them on Tuesday morning and they scheduled me for the first appointment the next day. Had my Daughter come over to let them in and they were right on time. I had them out probably a year ago but had forgotten it until they told my wife that they remembered being at our house before. Probably going to have them come out and do a thorough look over of the main circuit box and all the connections in our entire house since it is 40 years old this year.

They were very fast and they did a really nice job. I called them on Monday and they said they would be here Wednesday morning. They called me before they came and they came right out, did the work and left. It was very good.

The process went very well. We negotiated a start date, they arrived on time and worked the entire time they were there. They also made suggestions about outlet locations and other small things that made the final project the best it could be. I forgot to give them the Angie's list coupon for $100.00 off the project and they actually brought the cash to me the following work day!

Our experience with Walls Carroll Electric was excellent. Mark and Shane arrived earlier than the stated time, and promptly and efficiently repaired the items on our "to do" list. The friendly and personable father-son team worked well together anticipating each others requests (no wonder why they were so efficient!) They also were extremely helpful by making welcome suggestions (ie, type of light bulb, switches, etc.) to avoid the problems in the future.

I'm converting an electric cooktop (using 220V) to a gas one (needs 110V). I called Walls Carroll for cost estimate and they gave me a reasonable estimate. They also scheduled me in the very next day. They added a 110V outlet under the cooktop area, as I chose to keep the 220V outlet. The actual cost was even cheaper as they were able to pull wire from another nearby outlet. They also removed the old electric plugin from the electric cooktop and screw the metal box back in place. The father and son team were very professional, efficient, and friendly. I'm very satisfied with their services.

Mick and his son came to the house to install some recessed lights in my bonus room, and perform some electrical/wiring work and TV mount. They were on time, extremely polite, and the quality of work was top notch. I am especially pleased with the TV mount, as I had a few other Companys come out and say that it would be either impossible or would require a complete tear down of my mantle. Mick was able to install an electrical outlet above our fire place and physically mount the TV above our fire place with minimal cuts to the wall. Overall they did a great job, and would recommend them to anyone.

I called them up and left a voice mail and got a return call early the next morning. We set up an appointment and Shane and Nick came out 45 minutes later. They diagnosed and fixed the problem in under 10 minutes. I would definately hire them again.

I called for a quote; the actual cost was slightly less than the estimated amount. The 5 fixtures were replaced. The post lamp still did not work, so the technician determined that the wall switch was bad. The switch was then replaced. The outdoor light cell wasn't working properly, so the technician bought a light cell and installed it. The employees were prompt, punctual and knowledgeable. I would most certainly use them again for future electrical work and would highly recommend them to others.

I called Walls Carroll Electric to get a quote on the replacement of my breaker box. Cory Lloyd provided me with the estimate I requested without hesitation or trying to sell me over the phone. More importantly, Mr Lloyd provided me with outstanding customer service. He was responsive to my questions, and willing to spend extra time with me to make certain I was well informed. Mr Lloyd also made recommendations on actions that I could take prior to having the service completed. It is readily apparent that Mr. Lloyd believes in delivering the best posible customer service. I followed up on Mr. Lloyd's recommendations, and what he told me was spot on. He knows his stuff. Mr Lloyd's quote was extremely competitive. Again, he provided information that was above and beyond what was initially asked of him. I will happily utilize the services of Walls Carroll Electric even if the pricing is a bit higher than other competitors. The value delivered by such superb care is worth a little extra.

I had a few minor electrical issues in our new home and had no idea where to start. We'd just relocated from out of state, where I had a laundry list of fantastic subcontractors. But in OH...nobody!! I decided to give Angie's list a shot and I am SO happy I did!!! I called Weekley and though they were a week or two out, they were very upfront about it. Since nothing was an emergency, I chose to wait. The gentlemen from Weekeye came out and took care of all of my issues. From some bad light switches to a broken recessed can. They were on time, very nice and only charged me 15mins of labor for two guys. In my experience(sadly, it's vast) that never happens. They usually get you for an hour minimum plus parts. These guys were awesome. Absolutely, positively recommend them!!! If we make it through this storm without too much damage, I need a whole house generator. They're the ones I will call!!!

I have used Walls Carroll many times before. This fall we were doing some remodeling and needed their services to install an exhust fan and generally take care of some electrical needs. Again Mick and Shane came in and replaced those broken outlets, installed the outside light I had been wanting and replaced the electrical panel. They went into the attic and corrected handyman work from years past. They get another A+ for their work. I would definately recommend them to others; and when the need arrives, will use them again.
