Walls Carroll Electric

This is the second time I have hired Walls-Carroll (Mick Magers) to perform electrical work in my home. He is experienced, knowledgeable, efficient, reasonably priced, and will not steer you in the wrong direction. There is no reason not to use him for residential electrical work.

Upon calling the company, I received an appointment the same week. The technician was prompt, courteous, and cleaned up at the end. I have used the company twice before and have always been pleased with the service.

I had lost power to multiple outlets, but not all outlets on a breaker line. I had been able to idenify each outlet on the circuit. I had replaced several outlets but was not receiving power. Nick was able to quickly check the multiple outlets not receiving electricity. Diagnosed the problem as a loose wire in minutes. Since replacing the outlets was something I could perform his job was done and there was no charge for the service call.

I have 2 security lights at the back of the house that were installed in 2004. They were halogen lights and worked for a few months then stopped working. I had 1 replaced in 2005, but it also worked for about a year, then quit working. I bought 2 new LED security lights and Mick came to the house to install them. He has done some work for me in the past and I always stick with the good companies when I find them. After installing the first light, Mick saw that the second light I purchased was missing some parts. I would need to return the light to the store and purchase a replacement. Mick told me to call him when I got the replacement light. Several days later, after I got the new light, I called Mick and told him to just come by when he was in the area so he didn't have to make a special trip. He had offered to come back and not charge me a second service fee ($45). A few days later, Mick came by and installed the second light and only charged me $20. Mick is polite, knowledgeable, and courteous. I highly recommend him for your electric needs.

The electrician who came out for the job was pleasant and professional. We will be using them again for future needs.

I had used this company before and knew that I would call them again. I received prompt service. My call was returned quickly and service was scheduled within two days. They arrived on time and thoroughly answered my questions. They quickly performed all service. When it was time to pay, they reminded me that I was an Angies List client do that I could get the discount.

Overall it was a great experience. They were quick, upfront with cost and what to expect, and the job was done well and quickly.

I called on a Wednesday, and they scheduled the work to be done the next afternoon. They called before arriving. The dimmer switch was installed in 5 minutes. Fortunately, this provider does billing on a quarter-hour basis. The technicians were friendly and courteous. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Mick and Shane did an excellent job. We've used them previously on a rental property and called them to get an estimate after receiving a very high estimate from another "A" rated company. They did the job in 1/4 of the cost of the previous estimate. They were punctual, efficient and cleaned up the areas where they worked. We won't use anyone but them from now on!

They were very professional. Got in and did the job and left. They ran new wiring and there were no repairs that needed to be made after to clean up.

All was fine. They were punctual and completed their work quickly. Their charges were reasonable for the service rendered. We were pleased with their work and will likely retain their services again, should we require electric repairs.

Great service! I called at 9:00 am and described my problem and they asked if I was going to be home they could send someone out that afternoon. Two hours later the guys called and said they were on their way. They checked several outlets and the electrical panel before determining the problem, explaining everything to me along the way. It turned out to be some aluminum wiring in this old house was the problem. Issue solved and they were done quickly after that. Shane and Mick were very friendly and efficient. I would definitely call them again should I need an electrician.

We were trying to put a storm door up and realized the button to the doorbell was in the way and needed moved. First I contacted another company to come to my house for a quote (Mr. Electric) and was told it would be $300 to move because they would have to re-wire it and even knock out a wall to get to the wires. I then contacted Walls-Carroll for another estimate. They were able to come out first thing the next morning. 2 men, Shane and Mick, arrived on time and were very courteous. They stated they would not have to do any of the things the other company said and would be able to fix it for under $100. I agreed to this, the work was done quickly and the total was $75. I am very happy with the work done and how honest and professional they were. I will definitely contact Walls-Carroll for any future electrical work!!

Two employees arrived timely, understood the work and got all of it done quickly and on budget. No complaints whatsoever, we'll have them back again if necessary.

We had no power to any of the electrical outlets in the MBR. We'd had an intermittent problem for a few years and they finally went out all together. We live on the 3rd floor of a 100 year old building and I know from past experience the wiring has been added to in hodgepodge ways over the years. We called on Monday and they came out on Tuesday morning. It took almost 4 hours and required cutting into some walls. They were professional,neat, cleaned up, cut the drywall neatly so it can be easily patched. I was happy with the whole process and would hire them again.

We had a new microwave oven to put in and needed an outlet in the upper cupboard. They set up a dedicated power outlet so that we had enough power. It took about an hour. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They were honest and courteous. I liked that they gave an explanation of the work needed and why.

It went extremely well. Provider called very quickly in response to my inquiry. The person I spoke with on the phone was very knowledgable pleasant and helpful. The owner of the company showed up for the appointment. He took plenty of time to explain and look at several issues we wanted to discuss regarding our electrical system and he added an outlet for us. He did everything quickly and neatly and the outlet works fine.

They arrived promptly and were very courteous and professional. The work they did was excellent, and they actually taught me something about installing or repairing a three-way switch. I'd definitely use Walls-Carroll again!
