Description of Work: Removed part of a dead tree for us. They were very professional and even got to our job early!

Description of Work: Russell Tree Experts removed two trees from the front of our house and two trees from the back of our house. Jose came to our house, looked at what trees we wanted removed and gave us a bid. Their bid was by far the most reasonable of the 3 tree services we contacted. I had some additional questions about the tree removal and Jose answered them all and offered some very good advice. The two men that removed the trees were very friendly and professional. The only snag that occurred was on the original date that the trees were supposed to be removed. No one showed up to remove the trees and no one called to tell us that crew would not be able to remove the trees on that day. I called the next day. The customer service representative was very apologetic and said that someone should have called us to inform us that the crew would not be arriving on the original date. We rescheduled the removal for a later date , and everything went well on the rescheduled date.

Description of Work: We are having Russell Tree Experts come out again to prune and care for some older trees on our property. They took out an old tree and did some pruning a few years ago, and have done work for our neighbors. The work is always done well and they always do a great job of cleaning up the yard when they are done. Russell is an outstanding company!

Description of Work: We needed an arborist when a storm blew through and removed some large limbs from our sugar maple and left some hanging in the tree. The canopy needed cleaning up and removing partial limbs. I love Russell because if they don't do right by you, they make it right. They only do things that are good for the tree. We have always had good experiences with Joe Russell.

Description of Work: Root Collar Excavation and Root Zone Invigoration | |After the invigoration a yard of top soil was applied and raked smooth for application of turf seed. It was a job well done. I was a little disappointed that no one showed up on the date set to do the work and no one contacted me in any way. (A Saturday job). They did call on Monday saying they would come the following day, which they did.

Description of Work: I had a red maple that no one seemed to know how to shape up or just wouldn't do a good job. Russell Tree Experts came in shaped, trimmed and raised the canopy like it needed. Great job. They also shaped up a young crab apple tree that needed a little TLC before it got out of control. Great Job.

Description of Work: I had an overgrown honey locust which they really thinned out and cut back from the garage roof. They also cut out a horrid little crabapple and ground out an existing stump. Everything looked great and there was no trace of a mess. Highly recommended.

They were prompt, professional and courteous. I give a B for punctuality because the atom grinder took a little longer to come out and grind stumps than we thought.

Description of Work: Removed fallen branch caused by storm from very tall maple tree. cut dead wood from that tree and another very big old maple. Extremely professional people.

Description of Work: Russell Tree Service did an amazing job not only on the tree removal, but also coordinating with AEP and also the crane service they utilized to remove a 100 year old Ash tree. This was a very difficult removal as the tree was 90' tall and 12' around at the base. Limbs extended over power and comunication lines for the entire neighborhood. They arrived propmptly at 8 a.m., set-up the bucket truck and began working. At 9 a.m., as promised, AEP showed up to drop power to our home as we needed to provide a clear path for the crane.It truly was artistry as the team on the ground set aside wood that I could use in our fireplaces, while shredding all other branches. The crane arrived at approximately 10a.m. and the heavy lifting began. By noon, 2 hours sooner than estimated, the tree had been completely removed and they were cleaning up all wood chips on the ground. When completed, you never new they were there. I would recommend Russell Tree Services to an of my family / friends and have already sdone so. In addition, they beat the nearest competitors quote by $100's of dollars. Description of Work: Russell Tree sevice did an excelloent job. My tree was between my neighbors house and my house. It was very large and a difficult removal. They handled it professionally. They took care not to demolish things in the yard. They were punctual and cleaned-up after themselves very well. I would hire Russell Tree Service again.
