Russell was fantastic. My house is close to my neighbors so they need to bring the equipment next to both houses. They took care not to damage my neighbors lawn, sprinklers and invisible fence as well as mine. You could hardly tell they were here after the tree was removed. They gave us an 8 week window but showed up after 4 weeks which was nice.

Russell Tree Experts did an excellent job. I had a very large tree at the back of my house that was in bad condition. It had to be removed. I asked for advice and estimates from at least 7 firms. All of them told me that the tree had to be removed as soon as possible. However, their estimates ranged from $5,000 to $15,000. It was an very difficult job because the tree was quite far from the road, and the job needed a crain. Russell Tree Experts were very transparent in their estimate and did an excellent job with a crain that few other companies have. They were very professional and the job was cleanly executed.

Excellent. They are professional and courteous. Since I burn wood in the winter, they left at my request parts of the trunk. It is amazing to watch how easily they move large sections of trees as they have all the needed equipment to do it. If you have large trees to remove, this is the company!

Called Russell first of July. I got/accepted their proposal on 7/20 and told them work needed to be completed by 9/21 as painters were scheduled to paint the house. They said no problem and they would get the work done in 4-5 weeks. They called on 9/14 to say they would be coming on 9/23. I told them painters would be there but that they would move to the other side of the house when Russell got there. On 9/23 Russell truck showed up at 9 a.m., saw the painters and immediately left. No call, no inquiry on what to do. The man on the truck called at 12:30 p.m. to say they saw the painters and left. I asked him if he got my message about the painters but he said "No". I told him the painters would move and he could come now but he said, "I've already come back to the shop for today. We can reschedule for a couple weeks from now". I called another tree service, told them my story and they got the work done in two days. I think Russell either has some internal communication problems or my just under $1000 job was too small for them to bother with.

I had a wonderful experience working with Joe, the owner, and his crew of highly qualified individuals to remove a large Silver Maple that was next to my 2 story apartment building, electrical wires and a large Pine tree. The crane operator and man cutting the tree knew just how to remove this tree over my building. Once the tree was removed, another crew came in with a special crane to load the large logs. Then a few days later, a man came in to remove the massive stump and roots surrounding the tree with a stump grinder. The wood chips had to be 3 feet tall for 15 or more feet across. I also had tree trimming done on some other trees with a smaller truck that had a bucket lift. They all made the job look so easy even though it was a scary process.

Russell's Tree Experts were outstanding in every way. They were very professional. Everything was done exactly as requested. Clean up was excellent. Our contact person was a delight to work with and all employees were great. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and everyone.

Tree work itself was fine. Issue with damage to sprinkler system satisfactorily resolved several months later.

Chris was extremely prompt and professional in communicating with me for both the estimate and the details of the service. These trees were huge and very sick and very messy(bark, needles, sap dropping constantly.) I was not home when they removed the trees, (as planned). My yard and my neighbors yard were cleaner than when they arrived. I have expected much work to do after they were there. I was shocked at how clean everything was. Especially in such tight quarters,(along a property line between two houses and along a fence) I can't recommend Russell Tree Service enough. Every person I spoke with was polite, articulate, professional and accurate. Their price was very fair as well.

Everyone that we interacted with demonstrated impeccable customer service, professionalism, and responsiveness. They made sure that we were completely satisfied with the work. I would highly recommend them.

We had five white pine trees removed from our backyard. In addition, we had a birch tree trimmed in the front of the house. The pine trees were really close and in some spots touching the house so we wanted to get them removed before they were knocked over in a storm. I reached out to Russell Tree Experts using their online portal and received a call soon thereafter looking to setup an appointment for a trained arborist to come out and provide an estimate. I met with Joe (an owner I think) to go over the services I was thinking about and obtain his advice/opinion. We determined that all five pine trees would be removed and the birch tree pruned. I thought for sure this was going to be a job that took them all day to complete. However, that was not the case. They brought a crane and flew whole trees over the house (which was pretty cool to watch). It took them about three hours to remove all five pine trees and prune the birch tree. The staff was extremely polite and worked quickly. They needed to move some of our landscaping rocks to get their trucks into the driveway; however, they were sure to ask before moving them. They had to move a few outside decorations, but once they were finished placed everything back where it belong like they never even moved it. As part of the service, they removed the trees and hauled away the wood and branches. About a week later they came back to complete the stump grinding. Joe was very helpful in pointing out the different types of stump grinding available and took into consideration my future plans for the backyard. We decided to do a deep dive grinding so in the future we can build where these trees once were if we wanted. Due to weather they came back in another week to complete the stump restoration process. This involved removing the pine chips from the stump grinding and placing top soil in the holes to cover them up. We will definitely hire Russell Tree Experts again for any future tree needs!!

Great! I am a garden/ landscape consultant. I hired Russell to consult with me about work on a client's property. (Well worth the consulting fee)The guys are always so nice and fun to watch because of their skill. This was a tricky job because of accessibility and what else was in the work zone. They showed up on time and did a great job. TJ was the arborist who met with me and set it up. He is very knowlegeable and was a big help in figuring out what needed to be done. I always use them because they always surpass my expectations from the people in the office to the guys on the crew.

Fine...arrived on time, did the work, cleaned up and did everything in a timely manner.

Russell's was coming out for a quote that same day. They had a crane and crew at house less than an hour after their rep arrived. Amazed at how quickly and professional they were at removal. Helped us get all resolved with insurance. Awesome job. Would highly recommend them. And TJ their rep is great!

Scheduled in August and work not performed until December with no updates from Russell unless I called. When it did get done it was partial. Final insult was the please pay bill email which came a few days after job finally done.

They were fine. They cut it down, but they didn't grind it and refill everything up, because after they did it I went you know what, this is only down to level and so I had them come back. They were fine. They were very professional, showed up on time, answered some questions, actually said you know, you don't have to do this right now if you don't want to; if you decide later you want the stumps you can call us back and we'd come back and do it, so they were good. I've used them twice and I'd use them again.

It was almost as much to grind the stumps and fill it in with topsoil and everything else as it was to take the trees out. Same thing, they did a decent job, and I would use them again.

They came out and looked; we talked; they e-mailed me an estimate June 30. I signed it July 1. They said they'd get back to me in 4 or 5 weeks. My neighbor got so impatient that he cut off part of the damaged tree himself. Russell's finally did the work August 11. I suggest that Russell's hire more employees, so they can get to jobs faster. But they were definitely worth waiting for. I explained that another tree service, some years ago, had cut far more than I wanted. Russell's walked around the yard with me, before and after they did the work, making sure that, this time, I got what I wanted. I appreciate their attention to detail and to communicating with me. When I need similar services again, I plan to call them again.

They did an excellent job and cleaned everything up perfectly. A week later they came out and ground out the stumps. I thought their work was top quality and they were very professional. The price was reasonable too. I would rehire them in a heart beat.

It went smooth as silk and the results looked excellent. They were prompt and courteous, the clean up was great and the price was fair. They'll be the first company we'll call for any future work.

I didn't have any worst part. They were really professional. They had the equipment and the knowledge they needed to do a very big, dangerous job. That's why we went with them. They were the best priced of everybody we had. They were here when they were supposed to be here.

These guys are fast, efficient, and good at what they do. I had six juniper trees that fell victim to a fungal infection called tip blight. The previous owner of my house did not address the problem. By the time I bought my property, it was too late to save the trees. Russell Tree Experts cut down the six affected tree, and came back a week later to grind the stumps. Great cleanup, and no collateral damage whatsoever to my property. They mixed the stump grindings with topsoil, which will make it easy for me to plant flowers where the trees used to be. After cutting down the trees, they placed them by the curb, and loaded them whole into a truck that looked similar to a dump truck. If you choose to use Russell Tree Experts, I suggest that you take the day off to watch these guys work. It's entertaining!

They were prompt and professional. The work was done within one week after first contacting them for an estimate. The house looks great!
