They were very courteous and polite. I would certainly recommend them and will be using them again. They even trimmed some extra trees with no additional cost.

They do an excellent job of clean up and pruning. They are careful to not hurt any plants which is important to us. They are reasonably priced. The price listed is for the job they are getting ready to do. When I compared that price to other places it was the best price.

I searched Angie's List ratings and found Russell Tree Service. It linked to his website. I was impressed with the forward thinking of his company, eg., being environmentally aware. Joe provided a written estimate and worked hard to fit his work into my schedule (even rescheduling with another client to fit me in). Joe and a team of four did excellent work. The work was of the highest quality (no hack jobs like I've seen from other tree trimmers). During his five hours on the job, Joe continually asked my input on the work, making sure he was doing things the way I wanted them. His workers were kind and courteous and Joe treated his workers with respect. They cleaned the site very well. I'm totally satisfied with the results.

The tulip tree had a lot of dead wood in it, and was much too close to my house. The pin oak was simply neglected for years and looked like a matted mess of scraggly branches all over the place. They trimmed both trees and the pin oak especially looked like an entirely different tree. It was quite dramatic and impressive. They cleaned up everything and the work in general was excellent. I am a bit picky on trees as they are a real investment in my property and I don't have 50 years lying around to grow new ones, so I won't let just any butcher with a chain saw near them. These folks know what they are doing and were referred to me by a professor of arboriculture I know. I highly recommend them.

Excellent job, the work was done professionally and in a timely matter. Joe is easy to work and communicate with. The work was completed exactly as requested and everything was cleaned up thoroughly.

Joe and his crew did a fantastic job. His knowledge of trees is impressive (OSU degree in the field). The walnut tree was in a tight spot and was removed with controlled elimination so as not to damage. The clean-up was excellent. He emphasizes preservation and can really help trees that need attention. The maples now look great and will remain strong and beautiful for years. Very professional and very polite.
