Excellent. Received a quote promptly after a request. Work was completed without any problems. I did notice a crack in a connector part. I called and they promptly checked the problem and are repairing it without any question.

I called Muth to set up an appointment to check my flashing after a small leak around the chimney during a heavy rain. An appointment was set up promptly and Carl called ahead and met me there. I was impressed how quickly he came out and by how kind he was in caulking around the chimney pipes to address the immediate problem. While he was providing an estimate for general roofing maintenance he was kind enough to remove a clog in one of my gutters while up on my roof which was not expected. This kindness does so much to sell the services of his company as he was concerned about the immediate problem and preventing any damage. Muth originally roofed my house 13 years ago and did an exceptional job. I have not had one issue in those years. I am pleased to look to Muth for roofing maintenance to prolong the roof and will undoubtedly consider Muth for roofing my mom's house when she needs a roof in the next couple of years. If there was an A+++ rating I would have chosen that. Carl was so exceptional he not only made my day but demonstrated he is a true blessing to the company.

I used Muth several years ago to replace a roof on another house I owed that had been damaged in a hail storm. I was concerned about the roof on this house and wanted to get a report of what kind of shape it was in. They arrived and did a complete inspection and replaced a boot they found that was broke. The work was done with great professionalism. They just did not try to sell me a new roof, but told me exactly how many years I had on this roof. I will use them every year from now on because you can trust them. Great job!

I discovered a leak and called for estimate. The estimate was about the same amount as a Service Plan (where they check everything), so we scheduled a Service Plan appointment for the repair and service plan. During that, they were supposed to do th repair as well as make recommendations for needed repairs. Everything was ok, until the next heavy rain. Still had a leak. Estimator made another recommendation for repair. We suggested additional work (shingles replaced where lower roof met side of house roof). He didn't think that would help. Repair scheduled and completed. Everything was ok, until the next heavy rain. Still had a leak. Different person (sales rep) came out and listened to our concerns. We were a bit upset that the problem had not been noticed during the Service Plan appointment and very upset that when we told the estimator that we thought shingles should be replaced, he said we were wrong. The very next day, Grant came out, looked it over, figured out what had been missed, and had the repair crew here within minutes. They did not charge me for the additional repair that the first estimator said we did not need. Bottom line, this is a great company. They've done work for me on multiple properties and are always up front about things. I was very disappointed that there was a problem this time, because there never had been issues before. However, they admitted it was their mistake, fixed it, and (so far) no more leaks. I definitely recommend this company.

I couldn't be more pleased with the work Muth Roofing & Kelly has done for us. We own rentals & finding a good, reasonably priced roofer has been an ongoing search for at least 10 years! After hours of research on Angie's list, I settled with Muth because of their reviews and warranties. From the very first phone call, I was impressed with the professionalism, the accountability and friendliness of the entire company. We got a bid that completely blew away the first roofing company. Not only did they beat the price, but they found several other issues that needed to be dealt with (which the other company never mentioned). They also asked for permission to go in the duplex attics for our bid which impressed me from the start! Doesn't sound like a big deal, but the first roofing company didn't even ask. And when I asked for his ladder so I could check the attic, he very reluctantly went up with me. How can you assess a roof without going in the attic!!! Kelly was our salesman/manager & he took away all my worries. He kept me abreast of all the schedules, additional damage found, how work progressed & did all the contact work with our Rental Co. to set up dumpster drop-off etc. I didn't have to do a thing after signing the contract. I went out to the job while the crew was working, and was delighted to find that 2 of the men on the crew had been with Muth for over 10 years - always a good sign. They were pleasant and accommodating when I asked them to do a few things for me. They wanted me to walk around the property and see if there was anything I was unhappy with. I was notified as soon as the job was finished & had a meeting with Kelly at the property for him to point out issues they had dealt with, and let me check everything. He explained all the work and spent time answering all my questions. The roof looked AMAZING, and the ventilation issues were fixed. I learned so much through this process about roofing, and that is something I really appreciate! Helps me with all the rest of my rentals. The warranty @ Muth is definitely one of the things that sold me on the bid. Since they have a contract with GAF, they have to remain certified with them, providing an unbelievable warranty! You have to use all GAF products but they are very high grade items. After the work was completed and I had my final inspection with Kelly, one day later the GAF representative called to say he would be doing the GAF inspection on the roof the next week. That is part of the warranty. Once he inspects the work, the warranty passes. There just seemed to be so many points along the way that made me feel that we were covered 100%! The clean-up was amazing. There was no debris, no complaints from my tenants, and no damage to landscape, etc. I am truly beyond happy with these people, and I have dealt with at least 5 other roofing companies in the last 15 years. No one came close to the professional job these people did. I have already given them 2 more jobs to bid since we have put off roofing work for quite some time. We just hadn't found anyone we could trust that would give us a fair price. The reviews and ratings on Angie's list speak for themselves!!

Kelly and Muth & Co. Roofing are great to work with. Kelly, the sales manager, was responsive and patient with all my questions. I was coordinating work from three different contractors and had to make many calls. Kelly always got back to me the same day. As far as the work is concerned, the crew that did our roof was fast fast fast. They got almost the entire job done in one day. The warranty that Muth offers is top notch and they are rated very highly with GAC shingle company. The quality standards are great. We found the price to be standard as far as roofs go, but the experience we got from Muth and Kelly totally exceeded our expectations. I would absolutely recommend this company and if we ever need another roof, we won't hesitate to call Kelly again.

Everything seemed to go mostly okay with the original job, other than their emergency tarping causing some water damage. To their credit, they did give me some money to compensate. However, I recently discovered that the overhang on one side of the house on both levels has developed a large gap, which is likely leading to some water damage internally to the home. They came out to look at it, but blamed it on how well I maintained the cleanliness of my gutters. I have my gutters professionally cleaned twice a year, so the gutters clearly aren't the issue. This is an issue that should absolutely be covered under my warranty, and they simply refuse to honor their word.

It was expensive, but they were very good. The crew was very hard-working. Sid was very personable and informative. He explained things well. I would recommend them.

Anthony was great. Climbed up, found the issue, fixed it immediately, and took pictures to show me. didn't charge me anything (likely a customer sat issue since Muth did install the roof about 4 years ago, so it's not surprising they didn't charge). Muth has done all of our roofing work over the years and we are very pleased with them.

It turned out fine. It wasn't a bad price. They put the bathroom vents on the front peak of the house where you could see them from the road. It would have been better if they had put them on the peak that faces the back of the house so that you can't see them.

When I called for an estimate, they looked at my roof and we met within a week. I was explained everything they identified for work clearly as we walked around the house and pointed out specific areas. I was told the work date would be in about 30 days, and they were able to get it in a week early which was a nice surprise. A couple of areas I would have liked a little more clarity with communication, the gutters were installed a week after the roof, I had asked about that but wasn't given a clear answer so I called a couple of times. Also, I was told that some boards on my roof probably have to be replaced but I wasn't told what was done until I had the bill, the workers were gone when I came home each evening so I couldn't ask them. Also, I was supposed to have a vent installed on the roof for the bathroom, but it wasn't installed, despite by asking each time. The vent is the only major issue for me still. Everything else was worked out fine. The roof and gutters look great and comforting to have that done going into winter. They have been responsive to my questions and inquiries and the work is certainly quality.

It went fairly well. No concerns.

It was problematic. They didn't protect the work area, on day two we had a thunderstorm and then we had water pouring through our ceiling downstairs. The tarp that they had put over the hole wasn't secured properly. It ruined our kitchen ceiling. They could have replaced the gutter guards correctly. I made them fix the kitchen ceiling. We have had several leaks after the project was done. There have been three leaks. The first two they fixed the errors in their work. They refused the fix the rest. My homeowners insurance took care of it. It is because of their shoddy workmanship. There are leaks coming into the main living area which, stains the ceilings. I asked them if they were going to pay for it and they told me that I would have to file it with my homeowners insurance. They wouldn't fix it. The third leak was so bad, it ruined the paint work and speckling in the bathroom. I touched the wall and it was wet through the plaster. He told me that there was a metal plate on the roof and the seals have gone out around it and that's where the leak was, so it wasn't their fault. I told them that we paid them $20,000 for a new roof and there is a mysterious metal plate that they didn't replace or seal around. I told them that was part of the roof. I called the owner, they did replace it and fix it. I asked him about the damage to the walls on the inside and he told me that would be up to the homeowners insurance. They fixed everything that was a result of their workmanship however, the cause of the problem has costs hundreds of dollars in repainting result of what was their problem, has resulted in repainting ceilings, refinishing a bathroom wall, and repainting it. There are still stains around one of the lights in the kitchen. They won't be helping us with that. They did a good job in the quality of the roof overall, but the problems that we've had since, they fixed in a quick manner. My complaint is that there shouldn't have been those issues in the first place. They should have rectified the damage to the interior of the house.

There were additional charges. We had a little bit of a communication error.

On 9/21/15, I asked for an estimate for replacement of two portions of my roof. I received a voicemail from the person doing measurements on 9/23/15 advising me to call him back if I had questions. Since there was some confusion as to what I was asking to be done, I called him back and left a voicemail, asking for a callback. I did not receive a return call. I received a call from another person from the company on 9/24/15, advising they had an estimate ready for me. I asked for the estimate to be emailed, but was advised that they wanted to go over it with me in person. I asked if this could be done after 5:00 pm, that I was busy with close week at my job. I was told the meeting needed to be during business hours. I arranged for the person to come to my home at 8:00 a.m. on 9/29/15. I called in the late afternoon of 9/28/15 to confirm the appt at 8:00 a.m. of the following day. I was informed that they were just about to call me to ask if they could move the appt to 9/30/15. I advised I could do that, but it needed to be earlier than 8:00 a.m. due to a busy work schedule. The company advised someone would be out on 9/30/15 at 7:30 a.m. On the morning of 9/30/15, I received a call from the person on his way to my home advising he was stuck in traffic. This person arrived around 7:45. The estimate the person gave me was for the entire roof, not for the two portions I wanted replaced. The person tried to sell me on the opinion that I needed an entire new roof. I advised that I only wanted the two portions done, and that I tried to clarify that with the measurement person who never returned my call. The person advised he would have to have a new estimate worked up. I advised I needed it very quickly, as I needed to make a decision soon. He advised that it wouldn?t take long, that he will work on it that morning. I called back in the afternoon of 9/30/15 asking the status of my estimate. The woman I spoke with said she would check on it and get back with me. I never received a call back after that. On 10/1/15, when I still had not heard from the company, I ?moved on?. I wasted hours of my time and never received an estimate.

Anthony was the tech that came. He called before his arrival, and was very professional. He spent a great deal of time with me. He discovered that the issue was not with my roof, but rather with the siding - probably due to some hail storms we'd had. I've used them before, and they're always very professional. Anthony is providing me a recommendation for someone that can repair my problem.

Estimate, scheduling, communication before job and promptness all excellent could not have been better. Actual repair went too quickly for me to feel it was worth $630.00. (Less than an hour) When they were finished the first time it turned out they had forgotten to do half the repair. When they completed the repair they were done again so quickly (less than 1/2 hr) I'm not comfortable with what was done. So either they did a great quality job that was overpriced for the materials and time it took or the repairs were hurried and incomplete. I can't get on a roof and wouldn't know what I was looking at anyway. This may be a very good company, I'm just not left with a comfortable feeling.

Muth used high quality materials, the crew was professional and the work was done quickly. Matt did a great job of communicating the process and follow up on a couple of minor details.

I was extremely happy with the services I received from Muth and Sid Huck. Several years ago the house next door to us burned down. There was some damage to our house but our insurance company said there was no damage to the roof. In October 2014, part of our roof was blown off by the wind. Sid came out to inspect the damage and determined that the shingles were damaged by the heat from the fire and not by wind. Based on his opinion, we went back to our insurance company to reopen the previous claim for the fire damage. Muth replaced our entire roof in March of this year. At that time, Sid did a video detailing the damage to the roof and shingles. Our insurance company agreed that fire was the cause of the damage and subrogated the claim to our neighbors insurance. The neighbors insurance company disputed that the fire caused the damage and the claim ended up in arbitration. The arbitrator ruled in our favor. As a result, we were able to recover our entire deductible. Sid's video detailing the damage was the main factor in us being successful in this matter. Muth went above and beyond to make sure we were treated fairly by the insurance companies. The roof itself looks great and we are very happy with the quality of their work.

They were very courtesy and very competent. They explained everything along the way. They took before and after pictures and gave them to me for my reference. I was very pleased with the service.

They were great - punctual and thorough. They explained in detail what they did and what they found. They identified an area of the attic that never had insulation which I was able to get my builder to remedy at no cost.

They have been working with us for a long time. I had a very good experience with them.

The Muth team measured up to their usual high standards. They worked with me to accommodate my specific requests on the estimate. The workers were prompt, seemed knowledgable, and were courteous. There was a glitch when they first arrived for the work because there was a typo in the estimate, but once we sorted it out, it was fine. They made every effort to correct the confusion quickly. They explained things as they went along and were thorough in their explanation of the final invoice to make sure it matched the corrected estimate. Excellent team. Highly recommend them.
