Muth & Company Roofing

Estimator came out promptly and saw the loose gutter caused by high winds. He went up on a ladder and made a temporary repair so there would not be further damage before work could be scheduled and suggested we add another length of gutter, since the company has a minimum charge anyway. We agreed, and when the repairmen came at the appointed time they did a very good job for us. We were very satisfied.

All work done in one day. Very pleased with workmanship; they advised us of other items that might need repairs soon; some of which we already were aware of, some not.

They did excellent work. They started immediately after we signed the contract. When the shingles arrived, we realized that we ordered the wrong color. They replaced them for a small fee, but they did not delay the job as a result. They were very professional, and helpful. The salesman (Kelly) explained the process very well. There were no hidden costs. We had to ask them to come out a second time to pick up additional nails, which they did.

TODD K IS AN EXCELLENT REP. HE HAS THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRODUCTS HE SELLS, IS CONFIDENT AND PATIENT IN ANSWERING QUESTIONS. AFTER MANY WEATHER DELAYS, WORKERS ARRIVED ON A MONDAY AND FINISHED UP ON WEDNESDAY. THEIR INSPECTOR MUST HAVE FOUND A PROBLEM WITH THE RIDGE VENT, BECAUSE THAT'S THE WORK THAT WAS DONE ON WEDNESDAY. CLEAN UP WAS DONE WELL AND THEY EVEN COVERED MY CAR WITH A TARP BEFORE ROOFING THE GARAGE. EVERYONE FROM TODD TO THE OFFICE STAFF ANSWERING THE PHONE WAS COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL.

Excellent work which was done in a timely manner. Rob, from Muth, who did the work was outstanding - unfortunately, I did not get his helper's name. Rob explained everything in detail to me and explained why I needed a 6 inch gutter around my front porch instead of the current old 4 inch gutter. It all made very good sense. My original word was done and I am waiting on Muth to call me to install my new porch gutters.

They could not find any reason for the discoloration but they did find out that the soil boot on my roof was damaged. They replaced the soil boot but I did find it a little pricey for only 20 min of work. Prompt, courteous and got the job done. They also checked for hail damage as well.

Muth installed a new roof on my house about 10 years ago, their first or second year of business. I was very pleased with their previous work, so when hail storms damaged house and garage roof last year, I called Muth (and only Muth). They helped me work with my insurance company to get FULL reimbursement for all damage. They were prompt and very courteous in all aspects of their customer service and work. When the gutters and leaf guards were installed, they installed 6 inch gutters (normal is 5 inch) and leaf guards at no extra cost. There were a few minor cosmetic problems when the work was finished, and these were fixed immediately. They have my highest recommendation.

Overall experience was excellent. They were always prompt & kept us informed by phone of daily progress. They met with us when job was done to go over warranties & paperwork.

Crew chief & members were very professional. They took special care to cleanup debris at all times.

I called and asked if someone could come over to check out damage from snow and ice and give me an estimate. I was told someone would get back to me that day. It's now March 5th. No one ever called back!!!

Muth provided me with an estimate much sooner than I was told to expect it, which was great to me. Todd came out and went over the estimate in detail. He was very knowledgeable about the product, the company and roof materials and also patient. Because my leak worsened, they moved me up and completed the job in less than 3 days. Overall, it was a good experience. Muth did exactly what the contract said they would do and I felt like I could trust the company.

After having four roofing companies give us estimates, we were most impressed with the sales representative from Muth & Company. He was very thorough, explained all the aspects of the project and was low-pressure. We were very pleased to discover that they also had the lowest estimate. They took our deposit and put us on a priority list since we had a leak. They could not begin our project as quickly as they wanted due to bad weather (this was in February) but began as soon as they could and had the entire project completed in four days. They were punctual and polite, took care to protect our lawn, patio and landscaping, and cleaned up completely. Our sales rep made several trips out to check on the progress and quality. The roof is just beautiful. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof.

Lori was very good about explaining everything to me and it was nice to have a female sales rep. They were very professional and kept things cleaned up as they worked. I had no problems.

The water leak was so bad I had to place a bucket in the area. Because the weather has been wintry here in Columbus, Ohio, Muth and Company had to delay the repair of the roof until the weather was better. To my surprise two roofers from the company came out on one sunny wintry day to repair the roof.

I searched Angie's list for a good contractor in the area and Muth & company was highly rated. I met with Kelley to review an estimate he had prepared after inspecting my home. The estimate was very detailed, more so that the insurance adjusters and other unsolicited estimates. Kelley advised me the most home owners insurances provide ''building code upgrades'', which provides that if building code changes between the time your home was built and the time insurance needs to repair your home to the previously damaged state, the insurance will pay additional costs to meet current codes that previously did not exists. The roofing job took 3 days and the finished product looks great. There were limited color options but still a variety. The job was completed as promised, on time, and according to the estimate.

Following hailstorm damage we needed to replace our roof, gutters and downspouts. Tye Lang explained the options for cost and quality and I could see that at each quality level he offered the lowest price. He told me how they would organize the work, what would be happening and when. Bad weather did delay the schedule but Muth & Co kept me fully informed of changes to the plan. The work was done swiftly and efficiently over the course of three days, two for the Timberline Ultra shingles and one for the gutters. The minor problems that always accompany work of this scope were fixed quickly and efficiently and without any claim for additional money.

Kelly Wengerd was the estimator/sales representative we dealt with. Kelly came out, did the estimate, then set up a meeting with us. The estimate was written, detailed and thorough. Kelly explained all the work they wanted to do on our roof and why each item was necessary. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. Kelly came back after the job was completed to inspect the job and make sure we were satisfied with the work. Kelly is very service oriented and represented the company well. We feel this is one of the best companies we have ever dealt with. Bruce did the scheduling - he did a very good job of keeping us informed of when the work was going to take place. Janelle was helpful and answered questions for us and gave us house addresses to look at with our shingle options. The crew was very professional, thorough and cleaned up after the work. All Muth & Company employees are very service oriented and helpful throughout the process.

They did an excellent job and gave and me a discount because I'm member of Angie's List. I'd highly recommend them to everyone!

The work went well. The old roof was in pretty sorry shape, so there was real work involved in tearing the old shingles off. Muth had several choices in grade, color, and type of shingles, and worked with me to pick the right materials for this house. We also changed the roof vent system to improve the attic ventilation. The materials were delivered quickly, the work went well, and problems that they ran into once the old roof was off were resolved with me so that I knew how the costs were going to change and why. Cleanup after the work was completed excellently.

They were very responsible, polite and cleaned up after themselves. Very satisfied!

I called this company and asked for an estimate to replace my roof nearly 2 weeks ago. My roof was damaged in the recent hail storm and my insurance adjuster told me that it needed to be replaced. The person who took my call said they would have someone in my neighborhood in a few days and would get back to me. I haven't heard from them since then. I hired someone else to do the work.

They told me they can't come out to give an estimate for 3-4 weeks.
