Muth & Company Roofing

Highly recommend this roofing company. During a time when the snow was coming and going, Muth was the only company who we asked to look at our roof that kept in constant contact with us on when they would be able to come out and check the roof. Everyone we spoke to at Muth, from Holly to Kelly, were very pleasant and professional. Kelly came out to the house at our convenience (in the evening) and took the time we needed to discuss our situation, explain what we needed and answer all of our questions. Kelly made the whole experience less stressful by working with the insurance company and looking out for our best interest. If you're looking for a top notch roofing company, who is more interested in providing a quality service and quality customer care, then Muth is the company you should check out. I personally have worked for a company that provides customer service for over 20 years and I can tell you Muth absolutely understands that without your customer you don't have a business - they truly get it! We will be recommending to any of our friends or collegues that have roofing needs.

They were on time, worked hard, complied with my requests (to fix blades on end vent, extra run of maynet on neighbors yard), sales and work crew manager were both on-site at different times to check work. Had a problem with a vent on Saturday and called, left voicemail and got a reply and remedy quickly.

They have not started the work yet because of the weather and will be starting once the snow clears. The interaction went well. They provided a great deal of detail to support what they were proposing. For what they have done so far, they have been pretty responsive.

This should have been a straight forward and simple job, but it wasn't. A salesman showed up promptly in resonse to my call, but didn't have all the answers. I needed to make 5 calls to their office, talking with 4 different people (Carl, Chris, John, Bruce) to "get permission" for the 5% senior discount advertised on their website, and to get a description of the product they planned to install. Then the installation crew showed up with an different product, only 500 watts compared to the 700 watt product they sent information on. But, the installers were proficient and I trust that the product will perform, tho it has yet to be tested by the weather.

Muth and Co. came in and gave us an estimate in a very professional manner. They only estimated the work that needed to be done and did not try to convince us we needed more. Once they were hired to do the job the process was very smooth and easy. We paid half up front. Their workers arrived and did exactly what needed to be done. They called back the day after the work was done to make sure we were completely satisfied and that their workers had been professional. That was unexpected and appreciated. We would use them again and would recommend them to anyone with roofing needs.

They were great to work with! They are an excellent company! We have quite a bit of trust in them. We certainly wouldn?t hesitate to work with them again. The somewhat high price was worth it for the assurance it was done right.

Everyone we worked with was very nice, from the person we spoke with on the phone to the man who came out to do the inspecting. Carl (the inspector) did a great job. He gave me information on what needed to be repaired, as well as some general information on their service. They repaired everything we asked them to and we purchased an extended service plan, through which they resecured and cleaned the gutters, checked the flashing, etc. They came on time, were great about following up, and most importantly, they fixed everything! We've had rain since they were here, and we haven't seen any leaks yet!

I would highly recommend them because they were wonderful from beginning to end. They explained everything thoroughly about what they would do and what materials they would use. They did a great job, they did not leave anything behind, and they didn?t mess up my plants or bend my gutters in the process.

We called Muth & Co. Oct. 1; a representative came on Oct 4 to diagnose the situation. The problem was the northeast corner of our split-level, where the lower sloping roof meets the upper story stucco wall--an L-shaped roof area where we had ice dams, and water trickling down the inside of the living-room wall on 2 occasions last winter. We discovered that the metal roof stop against the stucco wall was thin and rusted through (when the roof had been replaced 4 years ago due to considerable hail damage, the roofer --a different company--had simply re-used that metal strip instead of replacing it with something better.) The Muth representative explained clearly and carefully what needed to be done to repair that corner area, and we agreed right then to have Muth do the work--a very happy decision. We paid for the work half-down, after a $25. senior discount. After the work was completed, I had a question about what appeared to be a gap between the lower end of the cedar board and the stucco wall; the response was excellent--2 hours after my phone call another representative arrived, inspected the work, assured me that the gap and everything else was thoroughly sealed (which I couldn't see because the sealant was clear). Everyone from Muth was courteous, responsive, painstaking. We intend to use their services in the winter, should we need ice/snow removal, and to call them for any future roofing work.

We were very happy from the start. The Muth and Co. representative arrived on time to quote the project and followed up one week later. We felt no pressure to choose them. They were not the cheapest quote but we had a good feeling about them after their detailed explanation of the work and spending a lot of time answering all our detailed questions. The roofing crew arrived when promised and worked hard with very little down time. The crew was very nice and respected the house and yard. They did a great job cleaning up. We were just as impressed with the gutter crew. Overall very please with the work and have recommended them to other friends.

Overall, the experience went well. It's a twin single-sized home. They tore off two roofs (on the house itself and garage), and installed new roofs. Kelly, the salesman, was there for the presentation of the estimate. I had received three estimates for this job, and this price was right in the middle. They also honored a coupon that was in Angie's List's monthly publication as well. The roofers arrived on time and finished the work in approximately 2 days, even with a few children and dogs around. After the job was done, they cleaned up nicely and hauled everything away. The site was left clean, neat, and undamaged. I'm satisfied with their services.

A pleasant expereince from start to finish. Muth let me know there might be cheaper alternatives and lesser quality products availalbe to me but they provided only quality service and products. They were exactly right. It was a pleasure doing business with a company and group of individuals who live and work here in town.

Muth was very professional through the whole process. I could not have asked for better service. The roof looks excellent and they did a great Job. They were able to get our roof done in 2 days. The workers were very polite as well.

Muth replaced my roof and part of a damaged gutter. Their work was incredible. They arrived on the installation date, fully ready to work, finished in the time (one day) they had indicated it would take and left my yard and property spotless. The reps were clear and honest and didn't bad mouth any other companies. They may not have been the cheapest, but I am sure that if I need any service, they will be there. You can't lose with them.

The workmanship was very professional. They performed a good job and were neat and clean.

We used Muth for the new roof on our house last year and were very pleased, so we called them again this year when we needed to replace our garage roof. Their quote was reasonable, and their salesperson, Danny, was responsive, accommodating, and answered all of our questions. Once again, their work was extremely high quality, and they completed the job very quickly. We are very pleased. This is a great company.

They did it for about $2000 less than the company who did the roof for us. They did a superb job. They were courteous and professional and quick.

After quickly scheduling 3 estimates on a Thursday, I found that Muth and one other company were about 40% less in price than the 3rd company, but because I am buying a short sale and needed to have the work done almost immediately to accommodate all the other processes that would be piled on to meet the agendas of multiple parties involved in the short sale, I needed the work finished by the coming Wednesday -- within 5 days of saying "Go". John Rider promised he could do it, and on Monday morning they showed up by 9a, problem-solved early, and by noon on Tuesday they were DONE! Very professional, communicative... at this moment I couldn't be happier. The almond color of the downspouts and gutters don't quite match what already exists on the property, but there were no promises that it would match,and we're going to likely replace those old gutters in a couple of years anyway. John's crew even cleaned out the gutters for us at no charge, saving me at least an hour. A week ago, I was ultra stressed and feared I'd lose this property in August on which we first tendered an offer in March! My bank made an 11th-hour mandate that we cure 5 concerns with the property or else they wouldn't consider it viable collateral for the loan. Just a week later I'm confident this will soon be a done deal, in my favor! Thanks Muth!

Arrived on time; called ahead before arriving; professional treatment

They were fabulous. They spent a lot of time checking things out and they were very thorough. They were very friendly.

The replacement of the roof went very well from start to finish. Initially Muth provided us with information concerning the process and the link address for a video to provide us with additional information concerning our roof. The crew started the work on the date specified and completed on the date indicated. We feel that with the materials used by the Muth employees to replace our roof were of a better quality and durabilty than the original roof that was constructed by the home builder. My wife and I were very pleased with the quality of the work performed and the professionalism of the crews. We will definitely use Muth again to perform some additional work.

I was very happily impressed with the workmanship done in a very methodical yet timely manner. The men were thorough, cleaned up after the job was finished. Very impressive!

Top notch quality and customer service. Kelly was very friendly and answered and all questions. He even went out of his way to meet me at work to sign some papers. Top notch communication as well. My roof was done in a matter of one day. There were absolutely no trash or scraps in my yard. Muth notified my neighbors of the work that was going to be done ahead of time. My roof is beautiful and worth every penny. You get what you pay for.

We had problems scheduling an appointment with the company; apparently, you can only really get an estimate if the company is "in your area" on a given day. The receptionist on their line gave me an approximate date, however, I received a call while at work that a salesman was going to be in my area the same day, and I was forced to leave work to meet him or we weren't sure when we could do it. I declined, and we pushed our meeting out to a later date. When we did get together, however, I found the salesman to be very informative. As a former roofer himself, as he claimed, he was able to provide insights that I wasn't aware of or had thought of, and I used his knowledge to help with estimates I received after having talked to him. He was very thorough in his estimate and even checked other factors of roofing, such as attic insulation. However, once the estimate was completed, I was shocked by the quoted price. His estimate was easily $2000 from the lowest quoted price, and even $1000 more than our 2nd highest. The salesman justified his estimate by claiming that Muth only uses the most superior materials. While I can appreciate this, his cost was significantly higher than other companies that had or had since his estimate. In the end, we were forced to decline their estimate. His quoted price was significantly out of our budgeted range. But I guess that's the price of being the best.
