The company did a wonderful job! From the first meeting until the follow-up, every person I dealt with was helpful and easy to ask questions.

Did the survey and explained what they recommended and why. There were a few choices for me to make, but then they returned within the week and competed the job in one day.

It went very well. The workers arrived, went about their job--including a minor repair to the eaves (no extra charge)--and thoroughly cleaned up and removed any debris. The workers are polite and accommodating.

I had an appointment for 9 am on a Thursday for an estimate. At 9:10 they were not there yet, so I checked my cell phone. I realized I missed a call from them and got a message from Anthony stating he was running ahead of schedule and could he come early. I called him back and he said he was now with another customer and was writing up an estimate. I asked him how long he would be and all things considered with finishing with his current customer, travel estimation etc, it probably woudn't be for another 25 mintues. That was too long for me as I had a meeting scheduled that I wasn't sure I would make if I waited. He said he would have the office call me to reschedule. I was a little frustrated and not sure how his running early call changed into he was at another appointment, but I rescheduled. The next appoint was for 8am Monday morning. Again, I had a message from Anthony at about 15 mintues before our appointment. He said there was an emergency meeting scheduled this morning and he would be running about 5 mintues late and if that was a problem to call him and let him know. 5 minutes I could deal with. Then it was 8:25...so I called him. No answer. I waited another 10 minutes and was about ready to leave when I saw his truck out front. So I sat and waited again, I figured he was maybe out walking around the house looking at the roof or taking measurements and that is why he didn't answer, so I sat and waited another 10 mintues. Finally I called him again, this time he picked up and said he was was at another appointment with my neighbor, he had come to my house about 8:15 and called me but I wasn't there. (I had no more missed calls from him) He said he had an appointment with my neighbor at 10:30 so he just moved their appointment up. I didn't understand this at all!! I was in the house! Exasperated that again, I am waiting around for him, I asked him how much longer he was going to be. He said probably another 10-15 minutes. I thought this was ridiculous. It was now almost a full hour past our scheduled appointment time. I think this type of service is unacceptable. I realize they are trying to get in as many appointments as possible to accomodate everyone, however at what cost is it to shove another customer in ahead of another and not meet appointment times? Is it really worth the 10 minutes he saved in his schedule? I had 2 scheduled appointment times that were not met. When I make an appointment for a certain time, I ensure I am there for it. This is a large inconvenience for me to wait around both times and get nothing accomplished. I do not think this is a good way to do business...bascially I was working around his schedule - he was NOT working around mine as it should be since I am the customer. Who knows....they might do great work, but this first and second impression certainly did not impress me!

I was very impressed with the initial attic evaluation. They were prompt, communications were very clear, and the information presented well. They were complimentary of the things my attic did not need replaced and took pictures of the changes they recommended. Even for someone like me who knows nothing about attics, I was very comfortable with the quote and paid the deposit. They called about a week later to schedule the appointment for the larger service two days after that. They again arrived right on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and even cleaned up when they were finished. It was a positive experience start to finish.

When we renovated our home years ago, the previous company did not construct the chimney/roof connection correctly. It started to leak and was getting worse. Muth came out and gave us a quote to fix it the proper way. They brought out their roofing staff along with a mason to review the problems. They provided a thorough quote complete with pictures. Their staff provided us with a thorough explanation of the work that they planned to do, how it would be done, why it needed to be done and provided pictures of past work that they completed. We have stone on the chimney that matches stone on other parts of our house. Their mason was able to take down our stone and reuse it so that we still have a perfect match. They were very professional during all aspects of the project. They did great work and, I'm happy to report, our chimney is no longer leaking. We highly recommend this company and will use them in the future.

The salesman I worked with overcharged me by $600. I wouldn't have even noticed this overcharge if I hadn't looked at my itemized bill. I spoke with the salesman and my insurancy company for a month before I finally had to bring to problem to the owner's attention. He gave me a hard time at first about refunding that $600, but he finally was able to resolve the situation and credit me the money I deserved back. I wouln't work with them in the future.

Very professional when they showed up to give me estimates. Took photos of the roof and explained why it would be a problem in the near future. Provided me with emailed Estimate and easy process to convert into a purchase order. Scheduling was easy, and they finished the job on time and at the agreed upon price. There was a slight issue with the finished work, which they promptly addressed at no additional cost. Would definitely use Muth again!

I'll involve Muth in the mix EVERY single time in the future because of how positively they dealt with this initially ugly issue. The first representative who estimated was astute with his estimating toys, and his suggestions made sense, plus the price he quoted was only $300, while I expected it take at least $500, so I didn't even have anyone else estimate the work. The area to be fixed was a constant source of damage to a nearby fake-stone column and expensive carriage light. Unfortunately, the result of Round #1 was that the roofers hacked a hole into my very expensive gutter screening, they put nail holes in roofing shingles which now led rainwater into the soffit behind my gutter, and the problem I approached them with still wasn't fixed. I complained verbally and they offered a solution, but that solution was implemented poorly and ineffectively, even carelessly. I complained again, and their 2 top people came out to meet with me at my home. They expressed disappointment at what they saw, it was clear and inarguable, and they suggested a thorough solution that I thought would cost me $1,000 more. I asked them how much their new solution would cost, and they said that for whatever regrettable reason this hadn't gone well so far, they wanted to make it right, and the charge would be nothing. Couldn't say No to that. Muth put in (at least) another $600 worth of work on this area, replacing several shingles with matching pieces I already had, they replaced the very expensive gutter screen with its equal without charge, they re-alligned the gutter and downspout to accomodate my goals, and they completely and thoroughly flashed the entire area so that no water would ever again touch the column which had been destroyed twice over a 25 year period due to the pre-existing drainage structure. Like "Holmes on Homes", they "made it right", and did so assertively and agreeably. Were the first 2 stages frustrating? Yes. Very. But we can continue kicking the can, or we can make the decision to solve a problem above and beyond all expectations, and Muth chose to solve this well above any expectations I had. After personally watching the final process and seeing the final product, this should have been a $800 to $1,200 job, but Muth honored their original estimate of $300 without a flinch. I can live with that, and I'll continue to give them business. It's the challenging times that reveal who people are, and Muth will be among the players in every job I ever have involving anything about a roof, gutter, flashing or skylight from now on.

Very satisified with the crew and the work performed. Glad they were able to complete it before the big end of June storm. They were correct about the cause of the dripping and I had that corrected by New Buck Chimney company.

Muth was professional and they were conscious of my time. They seemed very honest and they have a great reputation. I wish that I would have gone with them in the first place.

I purchased the coupon deal for the attic ventilation and insulation inspection. Two very professional gentlemen arrived on time to perform the work. They were very thorough and meticulous. They took dozens of pictures and I was able to see exactly what they were seeing. The problems they saw were the same ones that I supposed to be found, which was the reason I bought the coupon. They presented a written estimate for the work to be done and frankly, for the amount of work they had to do, the price was extremely reasonable. They installed 55 baffles in the attic, connected 3 bathroom vents and vented them outside of my home and added 14.75 inches (R-44) of insulation in an uninsulated area of the attic. There were two teams of two workers - one to do the baffles and vents and one to do the insulation. It took the better part of a day to complete the work. They were neat and clean - not a speck of blown-in insulation anyplace. I am very satisfied with the work.

I would not have gone up on the roof last Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday with the wind like it was. They were up there doing everything they could. Since then, we have had several heavy downpours and we have seen no leaks.

I bought an Angie's List Big Deal to have my attic inspected. This company was very professional and did a good job. I would recommend them and use them again.

Everyone connected from the salesman to the roofers were polite and industrious.

We called them asking they make and inspection of some eaves that were dripping onto our sidewalk. They came and made a complete inspection of our roof, pointing out areas where the gutters were pulling away from the roof and sloping downward at an angle. They also inspected the roof from the attic and discovered bathroom vent not vented through the roof. Within days they sent us an estimate for all repairs, describing what they proposed to do. Shortly afterward we called and asked them to proceed. They offered us a date for the work to be done, showed up on time and completed all the work within the day. They were very polite and professional in doing the job. When finished the cleaned up all traces of wood scraps and insulation that had spilled out of an area. We were very pleased from start to finish and considered the price reasonable considering time and materials. We would not hesitate to use them for future needs.
