Muth & Company Roofing

I liked everything about the company and the process. The initial conference / presentation was very detailed and exacting .I learned a lot about roof materials and installation including questions I had always had as to whether metal valley flashing or simply weaving the roof shingle was preferred.Because the printed info and presented information was so detailed I knew exactly what and how Muth Roofing would do the project. I was not disappointed and all went exactly as they had said it would. The work crew was efficient and hard working and both protected and cleaned up the site afterword. I think that anyone would find it worth their while just to have an estimate and presentation from Muth and how they do a project . You will learn a lot about important details like flashing & counter flashing and the drip edging that they utilize . Yes,their estimate was higher than the other two I received , but as the saying goes "its all in the details". Another bonus for Muth is that they are a GAF Roofing certified "Golden Pledge" contractor and thus you receive a GAF inspection and actual warranty certificate. If you want a good contractor and a good project I would recommend considering Muth.

When reinstalling the shingles they failed to extend the shingles over the edge of the roof at the gutter .A number of baffles (8 -12) were left loose or not properly installed. The level of insulation was inconsistent and not to depth specified.. Shingles were left on the lawn in 90 degree heat, killing the grass. To their credit, they returned and rectified the problems, with the exception of the grass which eventually recovered. The day the work was originally performed was extremely hot, which made working in the attic extremely difficult, if not dangerous. I think this had to do with some of the problems, although I questioned the crew as to whether the job should be rescheduled and was told they could handle the heat. I believe the job was properly corrected, although I don't enjoy having to deal with such problems.

Can't say enough. They did a great/first class job. Worth the extra money.

The company showed up on time and the work was done without any issues. The only problem we had was I discovered a hole in my garage ceiling after they were done. It looked like someone's shoe went through when they were crawling up in the attic. I would have appreciated them just telling me about it but maybe they didn't realize. When I called they sent a guy out who took pictures. A couple of weeks later a drywall guy called and made an appointment. He came out and fixed the hole. Not a huge deal but kind of a pain in the butt. Overall, they did take care of the problem so I would use them again.

They are very responsive. and professional This was the second time they came out to repair the same leak The first time was 3 years ago. I hope they corrected the problem this time. I wish they would guarantee their work for more than a year. I am hesitant to fix the ceiling in our house until I am confident the roof is fixed.

Muth & Co Roofing were fantastic. I would certainly recommend them to do a roofing job to anybody. As part of replacing the roof they corrected the ventilation. They modernized the venting so that air circulated through the attic which helps to cool the house down. The work went really well. They got a crew out and I think it only took them a couple of days. Our roof has a very steep pitch so it sure wasn't a lot of fun for those guys. I felt like they had superior service and were very professional. When they came out for an estimate, it was the President of the company that came out and he got up on that ladder and walked right across the roof like it was nothing. They worked with our insurance company and, they just did a great job. As far as I'm concerned, whatever categories you have it is a straight A across the board. I felt like they were very competitive with whoever else we had out. If I ever had any roof problems, they would be the first people I would call.

They called back right away, gave us an estimate, scheduled the work a couple weeks later, and completed the job. Would use them again.

The service was good. I had no problems. They responded quickly and did what they said they would do.

Great...it was easy and they were very professional.

They came out in the morning before I left for work and finished the main roof before I came home, two days later they did my flat rubber roof and metal work, then the next day they did the gutters. note: it was raining for the two days in between the roofs. There rep. kept in contact with me thru it all and ask how I wanted it when there was an issue.

From the beginning, Kelly with Muth was very informative. He is the sales person and went over all steps in the process of getting a new roof with myself and my husband. The price overall was more expensive than our other estimates, however I feel we definitely got a wonderful roofing system for the money. The GAF warranty is fantastic. When the day came for the roofing work to be completed the workers were fast, efficient, and clean. They completed the roofing in one day, and cleaned up the mess completely. I did not find any nails in or around my yard or driveway which is important to me as I have a pet. The roof looks fantastic, and my husband and I could not be happier!

Had problems with gutters that when it rain the water would overflow at the the corners of the gutters. Also, in the winter this caused ice to form on the gutters which caused water to run down the stucco and resulted in some stucco damaged. They where very quick to respond to my call and in just couple days they came out to my house and I received a verbal estimate on same day they inspected the house. I told them I needed to get this done as soon as possible, so I could coordinate this with my stucco repair company and painter. They did obliged with my schedule problems and within a week the gutters were repaired. They were very efficient and professional in doing the job and cleaned up very nicely any material in the yard.. Thank You! My only suggestion to the owner why are they not using extenders on their ladders to avoid having the ladders braced up against the gutters which might caused scratching or denting to the gutters.

The guys showed up on time, did great work and tidy-up. Could not have been more pleased. Will definitely work with this company again.

Called to set up and estimate and had someone out within the week to provide the estimate. They emailed me the estimate along with pictures of areas to be addressed and a line item cost for each area they would address. I felt their estimate was middle of the road as far as previous estimates, but fair. I was able toschedule the repair and it was moved once due to weather, but that is completely understandable. The crew came out on Friday to do the repair. All the work I expected to see completed was done, they were quick and did an excellent job cleaning up before they left. We've had a fair amount of rain since they left and I don't see any leaks.

No work was performed and I never received an estimate. Nor was I told that they could not do the work - I just never heard from them after two people came out at different times to look at the garage roof.

Following windstorm, noticed shingles in the yard (as well as part of the fence had blown down!). Found coupon in Angie's List and called Muth. Arrived on time. Inspected the roof and noted problems with missing shingles and wind damage. Also inspected gutters and removed debris with high-pressure air. They were very professional and thorough. Ended up that they recommended a new roof. I invited them to participate in providing an estimate. They were outbid by over a thousand dollars by another vendor, who I also found in Angie's List, who did an excellent job.

It went well. There isn't much to say.

Overall, the work seems great. We haven't had any rain or snow of significance to test it yet. If we get water, we'll be sure to add information to this review or create a new one. However, the also cleaned my gutters while they were here! Great perk! I have a very high roof, and gutters! It was great to get them cleaned out, and not have to worry about them. The only way it could have been better would have been if the overall cost was a little cheaper, but it was still worth the price, which is why we had the work performed.

I had a very good experience with this company. They worked on my roof in the past. When they came out this time they noticed a loose piece of siding on my chimney and they fixed it at no extra cost. They've just been excellent.

They came right at 8am like they said they would, worked all day and finished the next morning. Everything was cleaned up . The gutter guy came 1 day later and finished in a couple of hours. I was at work most of the time, and didn't have to do anything.

We thought their pricing was pretty reasonable. We were satisfied with their work and we would recommend them to somebody else. They worked with us and got the job done pretty quick. They had good workers. The workers were fast and they were hard workers. The communication was good and they got everything done like they said they would. They did a nice job.

Scheduled and performed the attic inspection promptly. Offered a couple of suggestions - optional things to do. No high-pressure sales to take care of these items. Will probably call in to do these when the time comes.

All went as it should. When a suprise cloudbust hit while the roof was partilly covered and caused a water stain the ceiling below Muth eagerly paid for the plaster patching and indor painting and supervised the repair sub contractors.. The "salesman" who met with me and bid the job stopped by almost every day to check on progress and review the job before final payment. The roofing crew was Mexican. But, many of them had been with Mooth for many years. Their forman for 15 years! While some did not speak English they all seemed very skilled. I will call Muth any time I need roof work. In fact I have signed up for routine inspections. These people are why I love Angie'List.

Were prompt for estimate appointment. Took pictures and discussed what they would do. Also discussed cost of leaf guards which would eliminate need for future cleanings. Called prior to coming for agreed services. Were professional in work,cleaned up debris.

They did a good job on our roof. Their roofers nailed down my guttering, which was special guttering. I had Gutter Helmet. This damaged them. The roofing job, would be an A, but the guttering was a C or a D.
