They completed the repairs in a timely manor and did an excellent job overall. Crew was professional and went over every detail that was completed. Very satisfied with their service. They are not the cheapest, but worth the cost. I would definitely use them in the future.

I purchased a $75 Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out well. I spent an additional $200 to have the attic fan installed.

They told us exactly what they would do and gave a quote. They came when they said they would and made a repair and cleaned up so well that I could not tell that any damage had ever been done.

We called Muth regarding a leaky roof. They called back within an hour and had someone out the very next day to inspect the damage. In addition to the two holes we knew about, they found three areas on the roof which needed shingle repair. Despite this, the estimate was significantly less expensive than we had anticipated. Since the servicemen are equipped with tablets, not only was I able to view the estimate and photos of the damage, but they were able to immediately e-mail the documents to my husband at work for his review. When we scheduled the work, we were told that leaky roofs are prioritized, but there was such a backlog of work that it would take two weeks to get someone out. However, they were actually able to send someone out a week ahead of schedule. In the mean time, we had another wind storm, and additional shingles were blown off yet another area of the roof. Muth fixed them at no additional charge. Again, before-and-after photos and the invoice were e-mailed to my husband so he could see that the work was completed as well. Everyone we worked with, from the office staff, to the roofers, to the owner, were extremely helpful and professional. I expected this to be a headache, but they made the process surprisingly simple and as stress-free as a leaky roof can possibly be. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.

Muth previously installed a new roof and gutters on our house, so we chose Muth again for vinyl soffits. They overcame some challenges and material delays due to the discontinuance of our choices. They were very professional and communicated with us often to secure similar products. The crew arrived promptly and the foreman reviewed the job in advance. They were very thorough and hard-working, finishing ahead of schedule and staying late to do so. They cleaned up all scraps and made sure that we reviewed the work and approved it before they left. We were very pleased with the work and would not hesitate to use them again. Only one small criticism - it took nearly a week for them to return to pick up a circular saw and the leftover vinyl.

Checked the shingles, flashing, vents, and provided report on condition. Gave estimate for 1 recommended repair. We have used Muth in the past and expect to use them again for our roofing needs.

Muth & Company, although probably not the cheapest, has the highest quality. They were punctual and educated us on every facet of the project. I intend on using them again if the need arises.

The diagnosis and recommendations prior to the inititation of the project were what sold us on this company. Clean-up was fantastic. Post-inspection was also value-added.

Our roof was damaged by the extreme winds in June 2012. We reached out to Muth who had done some minor repair work in the past. They replaced the entire roof and worked with our insurance adjustor to get them to cover as much as possible. In terms of scheduling, becasue our roof had some exposure, we got the work done very quickly even though there was a back log of people ahead of us. The work was performed as promised. WIthin 2 days of starting we had a brand new roof and the clean up was impecable. We used the interest free financing provided to cover the shortfall of the insurance proceeds.The sales rep even came to my office downtown for me to complete the paperwork and applications. The amount of time I missed from work was minimal. Without a doubt I would recommend using Muth. Great work and a fair price.

My roof sustained storm related damage as a result of high winds during the night on Wednesday 6/12/2013. I didn't notice the damage until I returned home from work on Thursday 6/13/2013 at approximately 6:00 PM. After calling my insurance agent, I searched on Angie's list looking for highly rated roofing companies in order to get an estimate for repairs and ensure the most serious damage was tarped to reduce the risk of future damage. The winds must have been very strong as the shingles on one section of my roof were ripped off down to the framing, the ridge vent was damaged, numerous shingles were torn off, lifted, or otherwise displaced. In addition to the roof damage, the back downspout was ripped off the house. I found pieces in my yard and a section in my neighbors yard! One of the roofing companies I contacted was Muth & Co. Roofing. I left a message at approximately 6:45 PM on Thursday (after normal business hours of 8:00-5:00). I received a call back at approximately 8:15 AM on Friday (the next business day). I was advised that they could definitely come out to tarp the most serious damage and that I would receive a call when the roofer was on his way to my house. Bruce called to let me know he was on his way at approximately 9:40 AM. Upon arrival, we walked around the house so I could point out the damage I could see from the ground. He immediately went up on the roof to assess the damage. After assessing the damage, he proceeded to tarp the major damage and tack down a number of loose shingles. He also measured the roof so he could provide a written estimate for repairs. Bruce was very friendly and explained each step of the process to me. I'm now waiting for a written estimate for the repairs; I have an appointment scheduled for this Thursday 6/20/2013 to go over the estimate with a representative from the company. Once I receive estimates, I will need to go back to my insurance agent to file a claim as the damages are expected to exceed my deductible. Overall, I have been very happy with the service provided by Muth & Co. Roofing.

I let them know by telephone that I wanted them to do the work. I agreed to stop at their office to make the down payment. Here I felt that the ball was dropped a little. I was given the impression that my information would be given to their production department the same day as I made the down payment. I kept waiting for a call for them to acknowledge that they had my money and that they were proceeding. I didn't get a call for 3 days. So I called to see what was going on with my job. The response was that I was "on their list". I had to really pull the information from Bruce, their production manager, that it would be two weeks before they could do the job. That was fine and what I had anticipated but I really feel that, with requiring a down payment, they could at least acknowledge a little faster that they were aware of my job and what the estimated start date might be, even if it was wrong. I realize that any bad weather in the meantime could move my job out a couple of days. I finally got the call from Josh that the work would start. The one thing that he promised was that they would call me when they were on their way. That did not happen. But they did come at the promised time. They worked removing the old rotted wood and replacing it with new wood. They put up the capping too. But, they said that there was a delay in getting their gutter truck to my site, that they would return later that day. They did. They got the new gutter up. It looked nice. But, they did not have the vents that they were installing to vent the roof underneath the gutter. They had to order the parts. They said that they would return. About a week later, they showed up to install the vents. All is now done. The gutter looks wonderful and worked well during a storm too. The one down side is that they didn't clean up as thoroughly as I would have liked. After their first visit, I found some nails in front of a flower bed. After their second visit, I found one of the metal pieces that they drilled to install one of the vents. But, that was minor compared to the work that they did.

I had purchased a Big Deal at $199.00 for Roof Maintenance. I was very happy with them and they took pictures for me and sent them to my email because I wasn't able to be there when they came for the estimate. I was impressed and will definitely being using them when my roof is ready to be replaced.

ok. 2 guys showed up. I have a very large roof, several roof lines and 3 large chimney's. The conclusion they reached was that I needed a new roof from the guy in charge. They sent someone out with an estimate which was professionally done. My issue was that they did not do much to repair shingle caps which I provided, or any caulking. They were here to sell a roof, not repair anything. I had another roofer, who I'd worked with previousley, come out and he said my roof was fine, did some caulking around chimney's and stacks, and left saying I was in good shape. That was my experience.

It went well, not fantastic. He suggested something that wasn't necessary and we didn't go with it.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. I notice a big difference on my bedroom floor; I don't feel the cold area as much. They did a good job and were thorough. I could tell that things were better after they did the jobs.

History: Muth & Co. has done work for me since Jan. 2009 including removal of an ice dam in 2009 and annual "Extended Service Plan" inspections for 2010 through 2013. In 2011, they covered four hat vents because they said the hat vents were preventing full attic ventilation & in conflict with soffit to power vent flow. Current Year Experience: Muth came out for the 2013 on 04/09/2013 with two significant recommenations. 1) "Recommend getting removing hat vents and power vent and installing ridge vent on all peaks." 2) "Found multple areas that appear to be hail damage. There are dents on hat vents as well as exposed fiberglass on shingles. Taken info back to shop. Recommend calling insurance adjustor to take a look." Muth issued an estimate for $11,146 to replace the roof, assuring me that it would be covered by insurance. The insurance adjuster inspected the roof on 04/23/2013 and provided extensive documentation (descriptions, photos), observing "no collateral hail damage was found..." The adjuster's records also showed that the "most recent possible hail-related date of loss at your property was March 18, 2012." That is BEFORE the previous Muth inspection on March 27, 2012. This inspection was confirmed by the adjuster's supervisor. Muth's sales manager, Kelly Wengerd, continued to insist that I should request an additional inspection by the insurance company. I contacted two additional roofing contractors for inspection/evaluation of my roof. Neither found any hail damage and both said that my roof has several more years of useful life. Both recommended minor repairs such as replacing soil stack flashings. They also did not concur in the Muth recommendation of covering the hat vents. I have approved a contract for $740 with one of the other contractors. My conclusion -- a total loss of confidence in Muth & Company. I have informed them that I will lnot longer be using their services and that they do not call me. I received a follow-up email from the Muth & Co. office manager asking for the reason that I asked them to be removed from their call list. I responded with a summary of my experience.

They were very easy to work with. We had an insurance claim, and Muth came to meet with the insurance adjuster the day they inspected the roof. All work was done on-time, as scheduled.

Work will be scheduled shortly. We had to get Historic Resources Commission approval first, which finally came through last week.

Provider was on time and professional in appearance and actions. I had recently moved into this home and had no idea of the condition of the roof. It was worth the time and cost to determine that it was in good condition. The maintenance work they completed is still in good condition.
