It went great , they were excellent!

The initial appointment was very prompt - answered the phone the day I called and came out to look at it the next day. It took a week or so to get on their schedule, but they made room about a week later (originally was more than 2 weeks out) and made the repairs. I really appreciated the pictures (before and after) to show the work that was needed and done since I am not able to get on the roof. Very well done, and very professional!

They gave me an estimate on 11/12/2014 and the work was done today, 11/20/2014. I received two follow up calls yesterday and one today giving us their arrival time. They efficiently completed this job in 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This is the second time we have used Muth and they are very customer oriented. The gutters were filled with ice and snow. They hauled it away.

They were professional and the person that I dealt with (Kelly) treated me with respect. My roof was leaking before they fixed it, it does not leak at all after they put the new roof on.

Strange process to have a separate house visit for the roof size measuring from the roofing needs and cost estimating.

Communication with the company was quite good. Estimator came to the house, looked at the roof, took photos, provided emailed estimate within hours. Estimate included photos and description of work to be done. Discussion with the estimator made me believe he felt a good sized area of the roof would need to be replaced. Estimate identified tasks but did not break down materials and labor. Technician called prior to coming to the house and also took photos of the work he needed to do, in progress and completion. Technician was very generous with is time to answer my questions, show me the damage and discuss the necessary repair. I was disappointed in myself for not having asked for the estimate to be broken down. The only break out on the estimate was an additional $55 if a second sheet of OSB was required. The repair amounted to about 24" x 24". When I asked about reducing the estimate Muth offered to reduce the invoice by $25. The person I spoke to about reducing the invoice indicated that a bundle of shingles would cover a sheet of OSB. I was pleased with their work. If were to hire them again I would request a detailed estimate and or ask for the technician to leave all the materials I paid for.

We're very happy with them. They did good work which is why we brought them back. I give them As. We were pleased or we wouldn't have had them come back.

Extremely fast service. Thank you to John, who knew the leak was coming into the house. The men who came out notified me that they were on their way. Both Josh and Dre were extremely efficient and very professional. They took pictures of the finished work for my review. I have used this company in the past and have always been pleased. The office staff is very knowledgeable and has always been able to answer any of my questions. I would highly recommend their services.

It's been a while ago. It must have been good. It was fine. I don't remember having any problems with them.

*UPDATE* Within 48 hours of posting the review below, Muth contacted me to fully understand and address my issues. Within two days of that call, they replaced the gutters and even repaired a couple of other little things they noticed were not up to par. They were responsive, courteous and thorough. They also explained that GAF would inspect the roof independently (hoping to hear from them soon). I'm not sure what happened in the month or so between communications, but they certainly were concerned about my satisfaction and I'm happy with the results. I'll continue working with Muth for my annual roof inspections and hope to upgrade my review in 2015. ______________________ Because replacing my room was an unplanned and relatively high home-improvement cost for me, I received four quotes from four different companies -- all of which were highly rated on Angie's list. This was the highest quote, but I decided to go with Muth anyway because it appears to also be the highest-quality and most long-lasting product with the most impressive warranty. After I signed the contract and paid half the cost of the job, however, service went downhill. It took about six weeks after I signed the contract for them to get me on the schedule. Granted, I live in a city that takes a little longer than many to get a permit approved, but I called twice in the interim to find out what was going on, and their responsiveness was poor. The installation team was prompt, courteous and professional. The job took two days, and they cleaned everything up well. However, they damaged the gutters on two sides of my house and dislodged the gutter toppers on one side of the garage while installing the roof. About a week after installation was complete, I met my sales agent to pay the rest of the fee and showed him the gutter damage. He said they'd be out within the next two weeks to replace the damaged gutters. He also said the company that certifies the roof was installed correctly (and, thus, is warrantied for 50 years) would be out in about four weeks. It's now four weeks later after his visit (five weeks after installation), and the gutters aren't fixed and I haven't heard anything about scheduling the inspection -- despite calling and emailing my sales consultant twice. I'm disappointed, especially after reading so many positive reviews on Angie's list about this company.

Estimate was fair and honest. In addition to being the lowest, the estimator took the time to answer all of my questions and explain what work needed to be completed and why. The crew arrived on-time and completed the job in about an hour. Work was very well done. I will use them in the future.

It went as well as I could expect and I had the attic insulated by the same company a couple of months afterwards.

Muth & Co Roofing was amazing to work with. Sid Huck sat with us and patiently taught us a lot about roofs, ventilation, soffits, and gutters. He explained the whole job, what to expect, and the timeline. Everything happened as he promised. Our original roof was improperly installed and was causing water issues with our basement. Muth & Co fixed our roof and solved our drainage problems. The workers were professional and maintained a clean job site. They even used a lawn vacuum and a metal detector tomake sure all the nails were cleaned up. About a year later (yes, I procrastinate writing these reviews!), we thought we had a leak around a vent in our roof. Sid came out and investigated. It ended up not being an issue with our roof or anything Muth had worked on, but Muth &Co Roofing fixed our problem free of charge. I highly recommend Muth & Co Roofing!

We had previously used this provider to inspect our roof using an Angie's list deal so were aware of the quality of their work. They responded to our request for service within a day. Their staff explained the cause of the leak, showing us the source of the problem using a video camera. The provider scheduled service within a week. The repair was completed in a couple of hours.

We were very happy with them. We had no issue. It was great. They were very prompt and efficient. They actually identified problems that the prior company we had out did not or just overlooked so it was a quick fix and they were very thorough and great. I would say the price was comparable to any other companies, so very reasonable.

Called to have about 10 raised shingles repaired. Company sent out a guy to inspect the roof. Would only give an estimate for a new roof. The roof is twelve years old with no other problems or leaks. Refused to perform repairs. Then the company called me repeatedly at least once a week for a month, harassing me, telling me I needed a new roof. When I would ask why, the lady would get nasty with me. Very high pressure sales game. They advertise that they do repairs, but only do so to send a salesman out to do a sales call. The funny thing is, I would've gladly paid them 300.00 or so to do the simple repairs. Instead they came out and went up on the roof and got nothing. I guess the joke is on them!

There wasn't much notice ahead of time - they called in the morning to say they'd be there that day. They had agreed to repaint the chimney (as they had done the last time they did the service) and that was done. They checked the roof inside and out, insulation, and gutters. Grant explained every option very clearly and provided paperwork promptly via email.

It did not take long to complete this project. The arrived on time in the morning and were done within 2 hours. The cleaned up all of the debris.

The sales rep (Jeremy) followed the project through from beginning to end and intervened on our behalf in important ways. Muth roofers are first class and do high quality work. This job involved many workers on site at once. Jeremy successfully coordinated all. There were a couple surprises and a couple of smaller items dragged on longer than we liked, but overall Muth took care of us. I was impressed by the way Jeremy stayed totally involved from beginning to end and addressed our many questions and concerns along the way. Other Muth staff on site were very conscientious and often asked us if we were happy and made sure we were. They gave us confidence that they knew what they were doing and that we will not have roof or attic problems in the future. The results look great. The price was fair.

All things went excellent. They showed up on time and performed quality work and cleaned up well after they finished. These repairs stopped all of the leaks.

The job was done professionally and within the time frame quoted.

They are very courteous, prompt, and did exactly what they told me they were going to do. We have tried other places and their price was very competitive.
