Mold Mentor was wonderful from start to finish. I contacted them for a quote and they responded immediately. Received a quote within 2 days of calling. Scheduled the service in a timely manor. They showed up on time and were very professional. It was wonderful having Zack in our home. He was extremely knowledgeable friendly. I would highly recommend Mold Mentor to anyone dealing with a mold issue.

Zach did a terrific job, he removed old ceiling & paneling took out old damp carpets, cleaned joists and floors of all mold,dust and cobwebs.used machines to scrub the dust & air.It not only looks great it smells 10 times better These guys treated my home as if it was theirs . I can not thank them enough,oh they also arranged for Bulk Pick Up. WOW.

We noticed extensive mold growth in our finished basement on the ceiling and got a mold air test with 48000 spores/m3 of Aspergillus/penicillium mold. We contacted Zach for an inspection and remediation plan and he was very kind to drop by on a Sunday afternoon. Upon inspection, he assured us that he can successfully remediate the mold and also gave a two year warranty on his work. He sent us a detailed remediation plan and was very receptive to any changes we suggested to the plan. He set up negative pressure and like we requested, wrapped and removed all the contaminated furniture (couch and cushion chair) that could not be cleaned. He cleaned every surface so thoroughly and also removed all the carpet. His assistant did not show up for work and despite that he hired another professional to get the job done on time and did not postpone/cancel our scheduled appointment. We also requested him to HEPA vacuum our main floor and 2nd floor since the spores were airborne. He got a brand new HEPA vacuum and cleaned the 2 levels. I also requested him to leave the vacuum with me over the weekend so I can clean it again as I am anal about a lot of things!! He kindly let us borrow his vacuum and did not charge extra for it. I was able to use it twice over the weekend to my satisfaction. Over the course of the remediation we called him several times and he was always accessible to answer all of our concerns. Finally, after the remediation was done we did an air test for the basement and main floor and got 120 spores/m3 and 80 spores/m3 respectively, which was considered CLEAN!! (We hired an independent mold inspector to do the air testing for us) Zach treated our home like his own and helped us through the stressful clean up time. Our independent mold inspector thought very highly of his work and even said that this is pretty much the first home which passed the air quality test after showing 48000 spores/m3 in the initial testing. We certainly will hire him again if we ever have any issues and also highly recommend Zach to anyone else who needs help with mold remediation.

This was by far the best customer service I've ever experienced. While cleaning our basement area, we found some mold growing on the wall and floor. We put a request in through Angie's List on Labor Day and Zach gave me a call the same day. We set an appointment for 11:30 am the next morning. He arrived professional and punctual. After inspecting the area, he took care enough to show me how to clean it, how to prevent it, and generously took a look at a few other places I was concerned about. He then set up our dehumidifier to automatically drain into the sump pump area. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Zach is a true professional. Very responsive, thorough and knowledgeable. He performed a complete evuation of two basements for mold. He quickly identified several areas that I could remediate myself --- including the removal of some drywall that had become wet and developed a small amount of mold and other areas to be sprayed with a household mold remover and cleaned. We also began running a dehumidifier and added a HEPA filter. Zach clearly explaing the mold issues we had, what the source was and how to remedy. He explained things very clearly without trying to create fear that a big remediation effort was needed. I own several rental properties and have worked with dozens of contractors over the years. Zach is one that I can whole-heartedly recommend!

We were selling our home. On August 1 2018 the buyers appraiser inspected the basement and under some paneling on the wall he discovered a small are in the corner that had mold. The appraiser said that the mold needed to have a certified letter stating that the mold remediation was performed by a qualified contractor. We were scheduled to go to closing on August 14th 2018. I called Mold Mentor on August 2nd and explained our issue and that we had a short window of time to get this situation remedied. Zack understood and said he could meet me that evening. He showed up on time and said he could correct the issue on Saturday August 4th. Zack showed up on the 4th right on time and corrected the issue and then provided a certified letter stating what he did to correct the issues and also some before and after photos. We supplied this info to the appraiser and he accepted that the job was performed correctly. I can not say enough about Mold Mentor. They were very understanding of our small window of time to get this taken care of and went above and beyond to get it corrected. If I encounter another situation were mold is concerned I will make sure I call Mold Mentor.

Zach Duffy at Mold Mentor was extremely professional working with us to detect and get rid of black mold. He had insight into the cause, provided recommendations for other contractors needed to repair the problem and was clear and forthcoming outlining work needed and associated costs. Costs were reasonable too. Whew! I was grateful to find him!!

Zach is so responsive. Gives the solutions quickly in writing. The key is that he will identify whether it is or is not mold. In some cases it is not mold and he will be honest. Always cleans up after himself.

I am selling a house and I wanted to be proactive and have a mild inspection. I called mold mentor and spoke to Zach, who was responsive to my call and needs. He went to the house the next day and was able to find common household mold and recommended the way to clean it up and to solve the vapor problem in the basement. We set an appointment and he came out and dry locked the basement and installed the barrier and cleaned up the mold. Very quick, very professional and very cost effective. I would definitely hire him again to do an inspection and work for future assistance.
