They showed up on time, and were very professional. We always like working with HM. They got the job done really quick, and the area was completely clean when they were done.

Overall, the quality of work was very good. Several mis-communications with estimates, scope of work to be done. However, Paul worked very diligently to make things right in the end.

I am more than pleased with this company. They are top notch professionals before, during and after work is done. They have persons of all varied expertise and pride themselves as hiring the best. I highly recommend them.

Everything went according to plan. We had them place the old cabinets in the garage so that Re-Store of Habitat for Humanity could pick them up for reuse. The counters had to be cut up to be removed, so these could not be reused. They hauled them away instead. They were able to do their work without any damage to finishes to remain, and worked efficiently and quickly. Not reflected in the cost above is a follow up trip to move some electrical outlets and convert them to GFI to work with the new kitchen design. The reason for this work to be done on a second trip was that I wanted to thoroughly investigate the electrical layout of the house before committing to the re-do. Their electrical work was very good as well.

Handyman Matters did a wonderful job with our kitchen backsplash! Our house is over 100 years old so nothing is perfectly square and there were several situations that required a craftsman's touch. It turned out beautifully! Our kitchen has so much character now! Our experience with Handyman Matters was great from start to finish; They were very responsive, stayed in touch with us throughout the entire project, sent reminders for appointment times, and made follow up calls to make sure we were happy. It's very clear that the customer is their first priority. This is a company with integrity and we definitely look forward to working with them again in the future.

Handyman Matters is the best contractor for handyman needs! They are friendly, quick and professional. This is the second time that I've used them and, from the time you call and schedule to throughout their time onsite, they are top-notch. Keith and Jeff did an excellent job and Jill is very pleasant to work with..another great experience!

First trip Richard arrived late but was apologetic. Did go over my to do list in detail before letting me know what he would and would not be able to due. Was helpful in sorting out priorities. He did run into time estimation/management problems but Jill in the office was great in sorting things out. His work was good.

Work was well done, thorough and professional. Tolerated me hanging around and answered all my questions while tolerating my suggestions. Well done Isaac.

This is the FIRST home improvement experience that was good from start to finish. Everyone, seriously everyone, was wonderful. They squeezed me in in a moments notice when I was panicking over a rotted sink base. The contractor was lovely. He was kind, considerate and knowledgeable. I generally am nervous with contractors in my home due to terrible previous experiences, but he had skills! My fiance said it's crazy it took us this long to find such a great service. I will use them in the future and am actually trying to cancel a backsplash install with another company so I can have handyman Matters do the job. Highly recommend! I will say their a little pricier than some but take it from someone who learned the hard way that you get what you pay for.

The Westerville team is wonderful! They're professional and friendly throughout each step of the process: scheduling through execution of the work order. Keith did an amazing job, even completing the work in less time than expected. He's knowledgable, skilled and personable. My work looks great! I'd definitely refer anyone to Handyman Matters! Great. I had purchased 4 hours on Angie's list and had long list of things I needed done. He was done early so I had him help with other projects that I didn't think he would have time to do. He worked fast and did a great job. I would use this service again.

The original experience with the Handyman Matter's team was not up to expectations, however, Paul and his team went above and beyond to remedy the situation. We were more than pleased with their professionalism and great customer service. We would definitely use them again.

The woman at the office who made my appointment was very thorough in her explanation of their policies and procedures. The Handyman Richard was right on time. He evaluated the job and gave me a couple of different options to pick from in how the job would be done. Once we decided on the option that seemed best for the situation, he wrote up a contract with a description of the work to be done and a price. I agreed to the contract and signed it. He then worked for the next 3 hours to complete the job. He had to make a trip to Home Depot to get the wood and the paint, but he had all the tools he needed with him. He was very efficient with his use of time, and very professional in all his dealings with me. When the job was finished and I looked it over and was satisfied, he had me sign the contract again, and I wrote a check for the job. I was very pleased with the whole experience, and I will use this company again in the future.

Damion did a great job. He walked me through what he was going to do for each job, and he had me approve each job when it was done. After he was done, he realized that it hadn't taken as long as he thought, so he reduced the estimated price accordingly! That went above and beyond what you'd expect from most contractors. I was really impressed not only with his skills but with his honesty.

From start to finish, it was excellent work - and all within projected costs and timelines. Very impressive - I would not hesitate to call them immediately when a problem comes up in the future.

AMAZING! They did everything I wanted done and more in the timeframe we scheduled. Extremely courteous, friendly, and hard-working. They were a bit late because an earlier job ran over, but they kept in contact with me and apologized for the inconvenience (even though it wasn't really inconvenient!). I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

The arrangements were made quickly and the company stayed in contact regarding the appointment including arranging a slightly earlier time. Isaac was prompt, courteous, professional and stayed on point in accomplishing tasks. Used an Angies list related discount so made it a great way to try out the company. Will gladly use and recommend both the company and Isaac.

This was a fantastic experience. We had some water damage in Feburary, and had a company come out to demo the parts that were damaged. This included part of our master bathroom, the neighboring guest room, and the kitchen (located below the bathroom). Paul (the owner) was prompt in coming out, and providing a great estimate. We wanted the work done as soon as possible so we could get back to our regular lives. Having half your house torn apart for so long is stressful. They were not only the best estimate, but they could start the soonest as well. At one point or another, I think we had almost all of their staff work on this project, and it was an excellent experience. * Paul, the owner, was out almost every day checking on his team, and with us, to make sure progress was on track, and that the quality was to his expectations. * Every day they would lay down cardboard, butchers paper, and drop cloths to protect our hardwood floors and stairs. It showed they cared about our house. Each night they would pick up the floor coverings. (some stayed painter taped in place over time, which was fine with us.) * Since we decided to not only repair the damage, but remodel as well, they were very flexible with us, and helped us understand what we need to go shop for, and what to look for. * They were very flexible with my work schedule, only working the days that I could work from home. * They cleaned the work site every evening. * They ALWAYS showed up when they said they would, and worked all day. * They would check in with me through the day to get direction on things. * They are dedicated to quality. They noticed some issues with the strength of the floor after the tile was laid. They ripped it up, corrected the problem, and re-tiled the floor. They also noticed the wall behind the vanity was square, so they tore it down and redid it. We've lived here ten years, and never noticed that. * great communication with how the job was going, and the day to day progress. * all of the staff were very pleasant to have in the house, and work with. Our dog misses them.

They did an excellent job, the estimate was 180 but they found they could do it a different way to save me money and I was happy about that.

A contractor (not picked from Angie's List) was hired to do a number of jobs in our house but I had to fire him after a number of issues. We contacted Handyman Matters Northeast Columbus to give a quote on finishing a number of items the contractor left undone. Don came out to give us a quote and it was amazing how much confidence we had when he left. Don took pictures of everything that had to be done and asked a ton of questions on how we wanted things completed. The next day we received the quote and immediately hired them to do the work and scheduled a date and time for them to come out. The day before the appointment we received a confirmation email from Handyman and Don also called to make sure it was still a convenient time and what to expect when they came out. Don showed up at the scheduled time and immediately went to work. As he went from job to job he asked more questions and when he finished each job he asked if it was satisfactory. The work was amazing and we were thoroughly satisfied. We were so satisfied that I asked Don if he owned the Handyman franchise because only an owner would put such detail into his work. When we received the itemized bill at the end there were no surprises and Don explained there was a one year guarantee on the work that was done so if there were any issues to call and they'd come out and fix it. We won't hesitate to call this company to handle any future project we have.

They came out to me within a week or less. There were additional charges because I purchased some parts so I spent about $500. They installed insulation in the garage. Everything had been pretty good so far.

s for a couple of smaller jobs.Purchased an Angie's Deal for 2 hours of shower/tub caulking by Handyman Matters. Scott W, arrived as scheduled. After reviewing the project with me, he suggested that, in order to get the results I was looking for, I should first consider having the base/pan refinished. I went back to Angie's List searching the name Scott suggested and scheduled that portion of the project. what I initially thought would be about a 2-day project turned into a week-long one. Scott came in on day 1 to remove the shower surround and the joint caulking. As luck would have it, the shower door slipped and cut through the linoleum. (Scott said don't worry, we'll replace the floor -- and they did). Scott came back on day 4 of the project expecting to refurbish the existing shower surround. However it became apparent that refurbishing was not in the cards and a new shower surround would have to be purchased. Assisted by another Handyman rep, Scott purchased the new surround and installed it that day. Because a day 5 had not been in the original schedule, he was working against the clock to get everything completed by noon -- caulking, new floor, clean-up, etc. We missed the deadline by a little more than an hour, but I am happy with the end result. I'm already planning to use Handyman Matters again in the coming weeks for a couple of smaller jobs.

Highly knowledgeable and punctual, Handyman evaluated, stated costs and expedited improvements. Exceeded my expectations.
