Keith did fantastic work. We've used Handyman Matters Northeast multiple times before, and were just as happy now with Keith's work. We were very pleased with how everything looked, and how it stayed within the quoted price. We'll use these guys again next time we need more work done around the house!!

The estimate/proposal was higher than a competitor so we did not accept their proposal. The fellow that came to review the job was polite and knowledgeable. It took several days past the time we were given to receive the estimate.

It took about 2 weeks to get in their scheduling queue. Clint texted when he was on way to house. He inspected task, and completed estimated on his ipad. Instead of using ladder to climb to 2nd floor, he harnessed himself to roof and installed via that method. He was professional about work, and mentioned a few other areas that may need attention soon. Would hire again

They are professionals! Highly efficient, trustworthy and it was clear to me why this company is rated as highly as it is on Angie's List. In addition, my service technician (Nelson S.) was one of the best service professionals I've ever encountered.

The door was to worn out to repair. It was suggested that we consider a replacement door, or call a company that may be able to replace the rollers.

Everything was completed satisfactory.

It was just surprising to talk to a company that does things this way. Most companies are happy to give a free estimate.

I contacted Handyman Matters about replacing some trim on my house and they sent James Tinsley out to review with me what had to be done, he took pictures and I received an estimate the next day and James started the following week and was done with all of the trim within 3 days. The Trim work was all primed and is now waiting for the painters - who are scheduled to begin in late May. An excellent job was done as James updated me on his status at the end of each day. I highly recommend this company as they also replaced a deck for me 18 months ago - which was also done with skill an expertise.

Our handyman tech; Clint was awesome! Clint has done various jobs for us in the past. On this occasion, he did an excellent job with installing new exterior lights, caulked a bathtub area and he did repairs to a light switch, air vent and a small drywall area. The customer service reps; Rachel and Arianna are friendly and they do an great job with scheduling and notifying the customers of any changes with appts. And the owner, Laura, she is super! This company is reliable and trustworthy, and they do excellent work.

Everything so far has been done professionally and completely. We have a few things that cannot be done until warmer weather hits.

Clint did an excellent job. Looks really good. Better than we anticipated! He worked to get the best piece of granite that we wanted. After the project it looks like it was part of the original design.

Outstanding. Perfect from initial contact at the office. They explained their policies and prices in detail and were able to schedule a visit within 24 hours. Mark Davis arrived on time, spent a couple hours fixing the door and looked at my fireplace, gave me some ideas..it works. Because no parts available for the drawer, he was able to create the necessary pieces. He was highly professional and pleasant. Would definitely use this company again. Best handyman service we've ever had.

Handyman Matters arranged to have Mike Robertson come out to go over my project list so that he could get an estimate together for me. Mike arrived at the scheduled time ready to listen. We went over each of the projects where I explained what I wanted and why. What I really appreciated about Mike was that he listened intently to what I had to say. He also asked questions to clarify his understanding and made suggestions if he had an idea that might make an improve the solution. After this visit Mike went away to put the final quote together. After accepting the final quote we scheduled the 3 days needed to complete the work. Mike arrived each day on time and ready to work. He cleaned up each day and left the works site as he originally found them. In the end all 4 projects were completed on time and I was extremely pleased. Mike proved that he'd listened to the requirements and then exceeded my expectations.

Longer than expected. Time will tell of the effieiency of the job

They did some work for me, restored my house. They completed the work after I had left the house. I was very pleased to the best of my knowledge with what was done and how it was done. My experience turned out very good.I believe it was around $138 which made me really happy. I was under the impression that it would be a $230 minimum charge. I thought the work they had to do would charge me the total amount. I was real surprised. They did a great job.

If I had to rank working with Handyman Matters, my insurance and the property management. Handyman Matters would be on the podium standing alone with all three medals. Hands down the easiest part of the entire process. My wife and I couldn't be happier with how good it looks and how much support we got.

He did a really nice job and probably saved me a couple of thousand dollars. It was a full day. I supplied the materials. It is an old house and nothing is square. We had to work around old house issues. When the day was over we were looking at it and he saved the door for me. It will probably give me another 20 -30 years. He worked with materials that I had. He was very pleasant. When he ran into a problem he called someone that saved me a lot of mistakes. They are versatile. I had a list of things with the door being the priority and he ran out of time. While he was here he looked at those projects and the conclusion was I could do them myself after he gave me some tips. They are the only people I would use. One of the differences between them and another company is that the company has done all of the background checks and they stand behind their work. His work is under warranty. That is the nice part about them. They match up the skill level. I've read about people who say sure I can do that and then they do a half job or do it wrong. I don't have to worry about that.

I've decided to do my good deed for the day and tell everyone to avoid doing business with this so called company. Let me tell you about my experience with these folks. They have a special rate if you hire them for the full day (8 hours) we were moving into a new house that needed some updates & minor repairs, I decided that in order to get the items I wanted taken care of by them I would hire them for 2 full days. The 1st day Josh came out and didn't seem very knowledgeable from the start by quoting out ridiculous labor times for simple light fixture swap outs, examples being 3 hours to swap out 3 front exterior lights on the house that I ended up doing myself in 1 hour,1 hr per ceiling light that take no more then 25 minutes to do,etc. I did end up still hiring them for 2 days against my better judgement and it was a total disaster with there lack of knowledge and poor work performed. They replaced 4 lights on the main floor,installed a new front door knob & deadbolt,"fixed" a running toilet,installed a tv on the wall, and that's all we got for $1800! The work they performed was shoddy at best, the tv is mounted crooked,the toilet took 3 attempts before fixing it, they installed the lights with drywall screws directly into the ceiling, and not the included hardware. This caused the lights to come loose from the ceiling. We contacted the owner about how disappointed we were with our experience and said we wanted the items fixed and some money back. The owner said it was "unfair to ask for money back", put yourself in my shoes buddy and tell me you'd be happy with spending $1800 for such a small quantity & quality of work. They only agreed to come out and fix the lights and offer a small refund. Very disappointed in this company that claims to be different then other contractors, when in reality I'd say they are worse then most of them.

It went great! Our handyman, Mark, was very responsive and constantly communicated with us to be sure we were clear on what we needed done. He made several recommendations and suggestions for the work and was thorough as well as conscientious about the quality of work he was doing. We were extremely pleased and plan to put together another list of "odd jobs" for him to come back out and do for us. We recommend him/Handyman Matters without reservation!

Work was performed in a timely manner

There was good communication on scheduling the job and also a phone call letting us know that installer would be an hour late due to traffic. We also don't have an issue with quality. The real concern was with the final price of $451.00 to replace an existing, standard bathroom fan. The cost did not include the fan itself as we purchased that separately so it was primarily labor with small charge for vent tube. We also seemed to be on the clock for the hour it took to get the vent tubing, which our home is only 7 minutes from an ACE Hardware or Home Depot so seemed excessive.
