He showed and I discov my present key didn't fit the door so he had to remove hardware to get tye job done. This cost an additional $20 above the prepaid coupon price. I don't know if this is how locks are rekeyed or not. I'm not a locksmith, but he seemed very professional so I went with it and the job got done in a good amount of time and, best of all, we now have 4 keys that we know work!

He never called me back after I left a voicemail message explaining the problem. It could be that he didn't get it, hard to know. I resolved the problem by finding a key so didn't need to follow-up as to why I didn't hear back.

Provider was 30 minutes late, but only took 30 minutes to do the job. We lost the key to our back door dead bolt. He got the old lock out and a new one put in a few minutes.

My husband lost his keys, including keys to 4 outside doors to our house. After a day of retracing his steps, we began to wonder if perhaps he had left the keys in the front door lock when we came in. The possibility that this might have been the case and that someone had taken them, made us think that it would be wise to have the locks re-keyed. We had been pleased with Greg's service replacing a lock at a previous time , so we gave him a call. He agreed to come out that same evening. As Greg suggested, during the day we sent him photos of the 4 locks and their keys. A half hour before Greg's arrival time, however, my husband found the keys. Greg was already more than halfway to our house when my husband called him to let him know that we wouldn't need his services after all. Greg's response was understanding and professional. There was no charge.

I called Greg on Thursday and on Friday he came out - exactly on time and rekeyed the locks to the new house. Very pleased with the service.

He arrived promptly and we found out that all the locks in the house we just bought worked and the keys we had all worked. Greg just used a little WD40 and the keys worked in the locks. We did not have to change locks at all. He saved us a couple hundred dollars.

I asked Greg to come by my new home once I got possession after closing. After meeting/explaining what I needed done and how I wanted all the new locks to be keyed on the same key, Greg explained how to accomplish this in the most cost efficient method. He even was telling me how to do all of it myself so that he didn't have to charge me. I found that quite humorous, but also very honest. I had so much going on with moving the next morning that I just asked him to go ahead and take care of it anyway. You will not likely find a more honest and helpful locksmith. This type of work can be very expensive. I could have easily paid several times more than I did with Greg. I would definitely recommend if you're reading this and need a locksmith, give him a call.

Greg does what he says, when he says he will (or calls to reset expectations), with a pleasant sense of humor and appreciated friendliness. When confronted with an unexpected problem during the lock repair, he found a solution that avoided an undesired replacement of an old lock/key set. I can't imagine anyone else caring about my missing skeleton key, but Greg did! And he took a quick follow-up call to help solve a minor but unresolved problem with the door knob/lock repair. This is the kind of service we all dream about and often don't get.

I contacted Greg through the Angie's List message center. He replied through the message center and called the next morning to schedule the service call. He arrived promptly. He rekeyed the front and back door locks. He was done in under a half hour. Even my dog liked him. I couldn't have asked for a smoother transaction. I've procrastinated about changing the locks in the past. Now that I've used Greg's Locksmith Services, I won't hesitate in the future to give him a call.

I needed emergency lock service as my key broke off in the lock & I could not get into my home. I contacted the provider both via the Angie's List contact method and by calling him directly. He did not answer or reply until the following day, which did me absolutely no good. He explained that he was on a job and had forgotten to bring his phone with him. I completely understand that, but find it disappointing since the listing specifically states that emergency service is available and the hours of operation are from approx. 5pm-8am. I was calling within that time frame. I appreciate that he contacted me the next day and told me what happened, but was thoroughly disappointed because the provider was unavailable when I needed emergency assistance, even though that service is advertised.

He did a fabulous job for us. He was very fair about pricing and he worked hard to make sure we were pleased with the final project on a challenging project.

I called because I couldn't get my front door open. He gave me a time he'd be here and showed up exactly on time. He quickly knew what the problem was but needed a part he didn't have. He said he'd be back the next day at the same time. Once again he showed up on time. He got the job done quickly and I am very satisfied with the quality of service. Greg is professional and courteous and his prices are great. I would definitely recommended his services.
