We have used Clymer Overhead Door Sales & Service in the past and were pleased with their customer service and performance. We contacted them to have two universal remotes created for my mother's condo garage. Harry was able to complete the job the same day as I contacted him. He did a quick check of my mother's door and was able to apply lubricant so that it didn't squeak when opening and closing the garage door. I would definitely recommend them.

They did an excellent job fixing everything. They were punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. I was left with a good feeling when they were done.

When my husband went to leave for work that morning found garage door wouldn't open. Our door is 18 years old and we discovered one of the torsion springs had broken. Called Duppy's as soon as they opened and they were at my house within 30 minutes. (they are located close to my home) Gary, the repairman, told me that usually when one spring breaks, the other side does soon after and recommended replacing both. He did a general inspection of all the workings of the garage door and found some other valid problems that I was not aware of. He had all of the replacement parts available on his truck. I was very happy with how thorough he was and took care of the problems now so I wouldn't need to call later for more repairs. He finished all the repairs quickly and I was very happy with price and overall work.

I called on Thursday and they did not return my call till Monday. He did come out that day. The original problem was from a sensor wire coming loose from the opener. The second problem was because the track trolley had broken. He did not have a trolley on the truck so he had to come back with one. He also tightened the spring and lubed the door. He gave me an old bulb cover he had as a spare. Thanks!

Everything went very well. He arrived on time, correctly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. It has been working just fine, better than it ever did before.

I placed a service call on March 3rd (the spring on our double overhead garage door sprung) with the receptionist (who is very pleasant) and received a call that evening from Harry to set up the appointment... The appointment was set for the 1st thing on March 4th... He was very punctual and professional.... Pretty much ~ just did what had to be done in what seemed to be a very short period of time ~ to me.... He obviously knows what he's doing and does it quickly.. He was very neat...The previous owners of the home had used Clymer to have an old door repaired and Harry also installed the present door that he worked on for us.... They were pleased with Harry's work and so are we... A nice, honest man to deal with ~ which is very important these days.....

They were really good. They came like they were supposed to and did what they were supposed to do. They had a great price ad we would use them again.

The entire process was a breeze. I chose them because they gave the lowest bid of three estimates and because they were very attentive. I am glad I chose them and will use them again without question. Gary was the installer. He has been with the company 6 or 7 years. He did both door openers by himself in just a few hours. He fully serviced all of the door hardware and adjusted everything. Gary is obviously very experienced. He did an exceptional job. Both openers work perfectly. Gary advised that he could make the doors much quieter by installing better rollers. They were only a few dollars extra for each roller, so I agreed. The difference is phenomenal. You can hardly hear the doors opening and closing now. I would highly recommend this company.

This is the second time I have used Duppy's and as the results were as satisfying as the first time I felt I had to submit a report to Angies. My most recent experience occurred this past weekend when the light socket for my garage opener shorted and blew out. The door was still working so I emailed Duppy's asking for assistance on the following Monday. Duppy's called me first thing Monday and I walked through the problem with them. A member from Duppy’s appeared later that day as promised and on time. The replacement of the light socket took only a few minutes and that would have satisfied me but, Duppy's considered this a service call and as a result did preventative maintenance on my door making a number of needed adjustments. If you are looking for a company that understands old fashioned American work ethic then Duppy’s should be your choice.

We had an electric fence that was buried in the yard and it conducted the electricity and it took out the whole circuit up which the garage door opener was part of. I only had to make one call and he came out. I liked his personality and if there was anything else that needed to be done, I didn’t have to worry about whether or not it would be completed. It was above and beyond what I would expect of a normal technician. I have used him in the past and he has done a great job. He comes out and gets everything done in the first go. I know what I’m going to pay and he does what he says he is going to do. If I have a problem, he comes back and fixes it.

I called Clymer Overhead Door for an estimate on replacing my garage door opener. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. I received a quote the next day, with a competetive price. As I had asked for several quotes, I ended up using another provider.

It ended up being a non-issue so it only took him a couple of minutes to repair it, then he suggested that I just have the maintenance done since I was going to have to pay for the service call anyway. I was pleased that they recommended the service call so that I could get the most for my money.

Called them at 2:00 pm and left message. Joe Duppy called me back to schedule repair at 9:30 the next morning. Gary arrived at 9:30 and replaced both springs and lubricated door. Super responsive service, reasonable price, efficient work, and Gary is a very nice guy! I asked for and was given a senior citizen discount.

My overall experience with Duppy was great. I have a big, heavy, old garage door that wouldn't move (without 3 people lifting it) because of a broken spring. Duppy came out the same day and fixed everything up for me. Additionally, the technician noticed that the garage door opener was on an odd angle which was creating some unnecessary tension on the rod and moved it over to a better spot. This wasn't something that they came out to do, but showed me their level of appreciation for the customer and commitment to quality which I definitely appreciate.

Very well. The owner/service person responded to my call in a timely fashion and replaced my old door with a very high quality door.
