The technician arrived on time and the installation was completed as promised. The technician was pleasant and professional. The opener is as quiet as was promised.

They do excellent work but I found getting a service call scheduled to be a challenge. I was told they would get back with me in a few days but they never did so I had to call again. Once that was resolved, it was smooth sailing.

82Called Duppy's on a Friday at 3:00pm. He was here, did the work and was done by 4:30pm. The garage door has never been so quiet.

I contacted Duppy's on October 25 to have a new garage door opener installed along with a key pad to the outside of the door. I waited at least two weeks for the installation of a new garage door opener. In the meantime, my Co-worker called Duppys to replace two springs in his garage door and received a two day turn around which at that time, I felt that I was put on the back burner. Once my opener was replaced, I noticed that the light in the opener did not work. A week later when I was able to get a ladder and climb up to see if the bulb was burnt out, I realized there was no light bulb in the socket of the garage door opener and the plastic plate that secured the light bulb was broken. At that time, I was unable to put a light bulb in due to the broken plate that covered the wiring and secured the bulb. I contacted Duppys and the man that I spoke to said that they do not put bulbs in the new garage door openers because they just roll around in their trucks and risk damage. I don't know what they did with the bulb that was in the old opener that was removed, but I'm sure they could have reused it in the new opener. Regardless, he was not happy to receive my call and said that he would make it right and couldn't talk any more because he was up on a ladder. Rude....rude...rude!! I made this call on November 21 and have not heard anything and don't expect that I will due to the tone of the recipient on the phone . I have not paid the bill yet and would like to get this resolved. I have not called them back because of the way I was treated. If they come and remove the opener, I am fine with that because I don't plan on ever doing business with them again. I will pay them for the key pad as it is working, but I need a light on my opener for nothing more than security reasons.

Gary arrived ahead of the scheduled appointment time. He checked our existing garage door opener which wasn't working and determined that the motor was bad. He also checked the garage door and said that it hadn't been installed properly 6 years ago which led to the opener's demise. After realigning and lubricating the garage door, Gary installed a new garage door opener which has many new features compared to the old one. He then showed me how to use the controls. Finally he programmed both of our vehicles to the new garage door opener and disposed of our old opener.

I emailed them for an estimate on Monday, they got back to me on Tuesday and we set the appointment on Wednesday for Thursday. Gary showed up on time and did a great job. Even when it seemed like there was interference he figured out a way to work around it. The new opener is very quiet and I am very pleased.

It went very well. We called on Monday and Joe arrived Tuesday morning. He was very friendly and competent.

Our first contact with Duppy's was quite positive and we were looking forward to working with a small local company. However, our experience quickly soured. Because it was during the Holidays we were not surprised that we were unable to get an appointment within 2 or 3 days, however, after several promises to call "tomorrow" to set things up with no follow-through we gave up and hired someone else. We wasted nearly 2 weeks waiting for some response. All we got were excuses and the blame put on someone else. We were disappointed that a company with such high reviews turned out to be a bad experience for us.

I heard the spring snap on the garage door on a Friday evening. I called Duppy's Door Service on Saturday because I have had them do work before and was pleased. They listed that they service 24/7 so I expected to hear from them. When I did not get a call, I tried again on Saturday. They did not call back until Monday morning. They came out and fixed the door. The technician could not tell me why I had not heard from them on Saturday. I was just lucky that I had one car out of the garage. Overall, I was pleased with the work. I just hope that next time I need assistance, it happens during the week.

Gary even checked out the whole door operation throughly, greased the moving parts and readjusted the door so it was working more smoothly than before the spring broke. Excellent experience. I would highly recommend these guys again. They were a referred to me and I can see exactly why.

On the day I called Clymer Garage Door Service it turned out that their power was out because of a storm the night before and no one answered. I then e-mailed them about my problem and thought that they may be without power and contact me when they could. I received a call later that day and found out that their power was out because of the storm. I set up an appointment at that time and had the repair done the next day. I also received a call before arrival. It took a bit of time to figure out why the door wouldn't stay down. In the end a set of saftey eyes needed to be replaced and the door then performed as it should.

I called and left a message explaining my issue and within minutes received a call back. They let me know that they would call when they were on their way, which they did, and would be here within the next day or so as I had explained it was not an emergency and could be anytime in the next few days. As stated, Joe called on his way the next day and not only serviced the doors but explained the problem and how he was going to correct it. He also gave me some pointers as we have had problems in the winter with one of the doors not operating properly. He was thorough, neat, and very pleasant. I would not hesitate to call them again if needed and would recommend them highly.

Duppy's responded and visited quickly, and lubed the overhead door and fixed the broken end bearings. I was pleased with their speed, price, and quality of work.

They were fast, good quality, and honest.

Duppy's Door Service Inc. did a really good job and their price was really good. I had them install a garage door. He called back the next day to make sure everything was working good. And make sure that I was happy with the work. I will continue to use them in the future.

I left message after hours on 3/1/12 regarding door that would not raise more than a foot; he called me first thing next morning. He asked me a few questions and was able to identify problem. He came out around 10:00 and replaced spring. He was very courteous and professional; looked at other garage door and repaired minor problem at no additional cost. Both garage doors are working fine now.

My original garage door buckled. The original door was fairly cheap and had probably incurred some damage many years ago when my kids left a broomstick in the track when the door closed. Just recently the door buckled and bent when closing, so it was time for a new door.

A couple weeks ago, we started to hear popping noises when our garage door would open. We had used Clymer Overhead Door Service about 5 years ago, and had a positive experience, so we called them again. Harry came out, checked things over, and told us that there was no safety concerns, but that our screw assembly (the long metal piece that connects the garage door opener to the door) was starting to go. He didn't charge us for coming out to evaluate the situation. He told us he'd be happy to install a new garage door opener for us. At the time, we weren't sure if we wanted to try to do it ourselves, so we let it go at that. A couple weeks later, our garage door stopped working. We decided to have Clymer do it. Harry was able to come out the very next day. He was prompt, professional, and pleasant to work with. He also helped us reset all of the remotes and keypads with the new garage door opener and with our other existing opener. We will definitely call Harry again for any future garage door needs.

When I left the house and used the remote, the door closed. When I came home the door didn't open. I checked the battery and it was dead. I went up to use the key pad, and nothing happen. My daughter came over to use her remote, and nothing happed. My son in law stopped by and checked the breaker box, and nothing was wrong. So then I called Clymer. They weren't in, but they called me back soon after. He told me that I needed an electrician, but before I called one he wanted to give me suggestions. One was to go check the buttons on my outlets to make sure that none were popped. On the second outlet that I checked, the button had popped out. I pushed it back in, and everything started working! This company gave me free advice over the phone and saved me having to pay an electrician! I am very grateful to them!

Joe has worked on our garage door for many, many years. He is always kind and courteous. We called him yesterday to repair a cable and he was here the next day. I couldn't ask for better service.

This was a horrible experience. From the original quote to the actual installation took THREE MONTHS of constant prodding. I finally called and left a message saying I was going elsewhere and finally got a response. The crew that finally came out seemed pretty good, except that the inserts for the windows hadn't been ordered and some hardware (decorative hinges) was missing. Joe came back later and installed the hinges....not where they were supposed to go. The installer also was wondering why I had bought the top-of-the-line opener for a not-so-nice detached garage. The answer, of course, was that Joe never mentioned that he was quoting the most expensive opener available. He also advised us to upgrade from the cheapest door because the next one up would be eligible for an energy credit...which we found out later was completely false because the garage isn't insulated (which Joe knew). I did want an insulated door, but we were counting on the tax credit to help offset the difference in the price. This review was so late because we weren't members of Angie's list at the time. I am easy to please--contractors just need to do what they say they will, and get it done in a timely manner. That didn't happen in this case.

Joe came to the house to work up an estimate and arrange an installation date the day after we made contact. Overall, the installation went very smoothly. The installer was meticulous, and the result was a testament to his pride in his workmanship. He discovered that one of the weather strips curved the wrong way and returned within a few days with a replacement.

They were on time and very professional. They came and fixed it and were done. They were wonderful and I would absolutely recommend them to others.

I spent $436 on that work. They showed up on time and they were professional. The first time I called them they were supposed to call me back, but I think that the message got lost. They were here when they were supposed to be.

Rewired sensors and put in new sensors. Problem still existed so they put old sensors back and changed locations. Realigned and lubricated doors. Sold us a new opener that controls both doors. Would definitely use them again.
