Overall, Darren & his team did an excellent job. They were punctual, communicated well & in a timely manner, professional, & skilled. Darren was very thorough when performing & writing up the estimate. Our house needed some wood boards replaced around the windows & garage. There was also extensive wood rot on the screened porch. Due to the severity of the damage on the screened porch, the estimate amount increased significantly as more damage was revealed between the walls & against the stucco of the house. That estimate increase was the only negative part of the construction project. Darren did however, explain up front that he could not quote a dollar amount to repair the porch until the walls were removed. They were able to rebuild the section of the porch with the damage to match the existing features of the woodwork nicely. The stucco did need to be cut, but Darren was able to contact a stucco company to provide an estimate & complete the job. He even came back to touch up the paint around the stucco repair. After the carpentry was done the house was cleaned, caulked, new wood was primed, & the trim/shutters/front door/porch were painted. Darren is also creative with paint colors & provided some ideas to increase the curb appeal of the exterior. He & his team were very neat & meticulous too. Tools & supplies were cleaned up & organized daily. The team was friendly & took time to answer questions & concerns. We did receive several estimates to paint the exterior. Darren was the only contractor to point out the wood rot on some trim boards & the porch. Some of the companies providing estimates would not do the carpentry work. His estimate was not the lowest, but the workmanship was well worth the money & the convenience of having to deal with one contractor. The exterior of the house looks great & we would definitely hire this company again.

We called for an estimate and Darren was here the next morning. He had an opening the next day and we were very happy about that. He and Jason were here on time and did a great job. Two corners of the kitchen wall were in pretty bad shape and he suggested adding molding to protect them, which he did. He painted the molding strips the same color as the room. It looks very finished and the rooms look great. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Darren again when we are ready to have more rooms painted. The total cost included labor and supplies.

It was excellent! The weather slowed him down, but work was was completed and it was done flawlessly! Workers were very knowledgeable in there field and respectful of their surrounds. I would recommend this company over and over again!

The bathroom required new tile around tub, new tile floor, wall paint, and decorative trim. Hung new light fixture, and new towel racks. Master bath and bedroom were painted, and old cove base removed and replaced with tile trim. Numerous small jobs were repair of gaps in laminate flooring, new base to cabinet under kitchen sink and repair of leak there. refurbishing caulking in all bathrooms. I had used this company before, several years ago to repaint my entire downstairs, and was very pleased with the job that was done then. This job required many more skills and they were certainly up to the task. Their work was not only beautiful, but both men provided excellent advise and showed creativity and professionalism. Much care was taken in choosing all materials, and I was kept in the loop at all times. Great care was taken to protect my carpets while the work was being done and everything was spotless when they finished each day, including the garage. There is no doubt I would use this company again, and I recommend them highly. .

It's nice that there are still honest people in the world. This provider did the work for a reasonable cost and did an excellent job too. He was meticulasly neat during the work. Even after he left, every tool was left on a drop cloth and not touching anything we own. We normally do all of our own work, and my husband is not easily impressed, but this time he was. I highly recommend him.

I have worked with Darren Adams several times. He always goes above and beyond what is expected. He is polite and punctual. I have recommended him for friends and will always use him when the need arises. .

Overall, job went very well. The cost "grew" quite a bit as extent of wood rot on our porch was fully revealed. That part was a little painful as many other things competing for those funds but could not ignore what needed to be done. Darren is very detailed oriented, does a great clean up of the job site at the end of the day and keeps their work area neat and organized - the best we've ever seen. The only concern I continue have is that the humidity was about the highest it had been all summer when the paint and stain was applied. I don't know if those conditions impacted the drying process as the surface stayed very wet through the night due to heavy dew and seemed to dry with some uneven appearance in areas. I understand that this should even out with age and weathering. I agree with Darren's response in another review that talking works better than texting when doing any job - but especially one like this where it kept growing in size/scope. I think we might have had a couple of "misfires" due to texting - but the customer (me) has an equal part in that! Again, overall, things went well and we were very happy working with Darren and the quality of his work. We look forward to working with Darren again in the future.

It went very well. They were on time, they finished ahead of schedule, and they cleaned up everything.

First of all they are very reliable. They're very clean cut, nice guys. They are very thorough as well as punctual. They clean up after themselves. Very knowledgeable on their trade. I have used them for 3 years and change. I have always been very pleased with all the work that they have done.

Darren showed up ahead of time and got right to work. The old basement wall needed lots of prepping and treatment before painting. He did more wall than he had to and it looked like new when he was done! The bedroom upstairs had a high wall and that was done without any problem. He was also very quiet and clean and even changed a chandelier light bulb for me at his request! There was no mess seen and did a thorough cleanup. Darren was very pleasant to deal with and I would use him again in a flash!

They are very good and prompt. I like that they clean up after themselves. They are also very professional. Darren Adams is the owner and operator of the business. He is very precise and is very particular. I have used his business for about seven years.

He did a fantastic job. I've had him do work for me before and he is amazing. I'm very particular about my floors and paint spattering and he does a great job paying attention to detail. I trusted him in my home while I was on vacation; I trust him completely.

He is the best. Darren admits that he is very detail oriented and this shows in his work.

Overall the painting was fine. He had to come back a second time to fix the yard work because there was a very large section that was not touched. The biggest issue with this company is that they do not stand behind their work. This company completely re-worked a large section of trim around one of our windows. At least they charged me to fix it. The trim is now buckling in two locations. They came out to look at it and I was told that this was not their fault. They did not know what was wrong with it but it was not their fault. He wanted to "work out a resolution.' I'm sorry, I don't feel I need to work out a resolution or in other words pay him to come fix his issue. I now have to pay someone else, more competent, to come out and fix his problem. Stay away from this company.

I called Adams Custom Painting for a quote to treat our deck. The owner, Darren Adams, came to our house to see the deck. He arrived on time and was very knowledgable about what our deck needed. He provided references and a quote. He explained that he does not mark up materials and that the actual invoice could differ depending on the material's cost. When we called to confirm we wanted to go with his company, Darren provided a time estimate and then honored his word. It was actually Darren that came out and did the work - he did not subcontract the work to subpar workers. During the work, I received text messages with updates from Darren, which I found incredibly helpful since I don't often have time to take personal calls during work hours. At the conclusion of the work, Darren provided me with the receipts from the materials he purchased and amended the quoted price to reflect the materials cost difference. I look forward to working with Darren and Adams Custom Painting in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

We decided to put our house on the market and, after working for months on the inside of the house, we took a good look at the outside and realized it needed some serious help in places. We had major crazing and flaking on the trim around the front door, some peeling around the garage door, major flaking on trim on the south and west sides of the house, and all the windows needed to be recaulked. Since we have a 2 story house, there is no way we were going to do this work ourselves...and we were in a major hurry to have the work done...at least the trim around the front door. We called Adam's Custom Painting because Darren and his helper had done an exceptional job prepping and painting our daughter's new deck and stucco home two years ago. She had had so many cracks in her stucco it had taken more than 2 CASES of caulk to repair all the work...and the final product was excellent. Darren had a full schedule, but agreed to come check out our project. We asked if he might be able to paint the trim around the front door "right away" and come back later to do the rest of the trim work. He thought that might be possible, but didn't promise anything. Adam came to give us an estimate and proposed a completion date that was sooner than we'd hoped. He showed up on time, with the materials, took great care of our property and completed the job in the time frame promised. Excellent work. Next time we have a painting project we will definitely call Adam's Custom Painting. We were thrilled with their work.

Darren was very friendly and super easy to work with. We will call Adams' Custom Painting and Construction for any future work we have and have already recommended them to some good friends, who used them too.

There were two workman on the job. The main one was an excellent carpenter. The other a helper and did not work for 2 days. All together the two worked for 5 days. They had to replace posts and some of the flooring on the deck. They horribly underestimated the cost of the job. The estimate was for a 5 day job with 2 workman for a cost of $3500 for the labor. They were here for 5 days but charged us $5000 for labor, a 40% increase. We did add some additional work but it did not increase the time spent and was definitely not worth an additional $1500. We were told we would get a copy of the receipt for the supplies (wood) which we did not get and they left with extra wood.

Adam's Custom Painting did an awesome job! The ouside of my house has never looked better. Darren did a nice job of matching up the trim with the windows and he found a color for the stucco that we are quite pleased with. They did not cut corners one bit and were very thorough from start to finish. They even took care of simple "need to do" things that they noticed while they were working like cleaning the gutters or power washing the sidewalk. They showed up on time and finished on time. I found them to be pretty much a "jack of all trades" and I will definately use them again for future jobs. They are very friendly and professional. My family enjoyed getting to know Darren, Jason and Keith. My neighbors, friends and family have all made comments about how nice everything looks.

Perfect. They came up with ideas for us to consider. Were open to the numerous changes we made along the way.

He is a good person. I am going to use him in the future, I had used him before, and I recommend other people to use him. He can’t get out of our neighborhood.
