Darren, the owner of Adams Custom Painting was there everyday with one other crew member. He gave us a start date and started on that day since weather permitted. Each day they cleaned up after themselves. it never looked like a construction site. We felt that the quality of work was excellent. Some of the trim boards had to be replaced and during that process the stucco was damaged so Darren repaired and painted that too. It turned out great! We are very pleased with the work. Darren really paid attention to detail and because of that our house looks great!

Services provided by Darren and Adams Custom Painting and Construction were done well. Darren’s services aligned with the work we wanted. Those concerns were addressed in the estimate and carried over to the work performed. Darren is transparent and we were in contact during the project. Darren brings the “A” game and is very considerate of you and your property.

Darren was very professional and responsive. I was very happy with his work and his price was fair. I have a friend who is a professional contractor and a former construction foreman (unfortunately that friend does not live close to me, hence why I hired Darren) - he reviewed Darren's work and advised me to continue hiring him again for future jobs. Darren showed up on time and did good work. After the problem with the back door trim we agreed on a time for him to return and he showed up on time and remedied the issue.

Darren paid attention to details more than any other and went above and beyond what we were expecting. He included small touch ups that we didn't have in contract. Excellent, and professional work.

I had great deal of cracked and warped trim that needed replaced so I wanted a carpenter who painted. I selected Adams over 3 bids, even though they were a little higher, because they were general contractors and carpenters. Aaron the owner and another guy were out there early everyday and finished the job in a timely fashion. They were professional, friendly and meticulous in their work: carpentry, scraping, caulking, priming, painting. They informed me when they found other boards that needed replaced that we didn't notice in the initial visual inspection and pointed out other problems with the structure that needed attention. They performed the work like it was their house, I would use them again and highly recommend Adams Custom Paining and Construction.

I have used Darren Adams for many inside and outside painting projects since around 2001. Probably one of his oldest clients. I've also recommended him to others. The quality of his work is always worth the price. When he's on site, he is organized and respectful of our property, leaving it clean and returning any space to its original, but improved, state. This year we hired his team to rebuild our deck and couldn't be happier with the result!

As with many projects, we ended up adding a few things - correcting a flashing issue and repairing more siding than we had hoped plus the moisture barrier behind the new siding all needed to be replaced. Also, had to deal with drywall nailpops in bedrooms on the side of the house where some of the new siding was put in. The siding was above the garage and quite precarious installation. This time he had a small crew working with him. We have one wall that has some unusual design, that at first they were concerned about replicated - partly because they were trying to help us keep costs down, but they did it as we wanted. We've had a lot of compliments from the neighbors and we've learned that 9 years is too long to go between paintings.

Darren and his crew did an outstanding job designing and constructing the deck and new porch They were very knowledgeable in all aspects of the job. Material estimates were very accurate. Suggested hardware by Darren on the pergola was added and really enhanced it's look. Darren and his crew came back in approximately 7 weeks and stained the pergola, skirting, and railing as promised at the end of the construction process. We are very pleased with the finished job and have spent many enjoyable evenings on the deck.

Darren returned my initial call while he was on vacation and true to his word, set a time to meet for an estimate within a couple days following his return. He was very professional and thorough as we discussed what needed to be done, the best way to go about it and potential problems that could arise. He also visited our current residence to provide an estimate for the same type of work needed. In the end, the quality of work that Darren and his team did at both locations was outstanding! It is his attention to detail and professionalism that sets him apart from many contractors out there. We have given his contact information to several neighbors and friends already and won't hesitate to call him in the future. The approximate cost noted below is for BOTH houses.

While the work ended up being more than anticipated I was more satisfied with end results. Darren was understanding and helpful through out the process. My town home looks beautiful and the work was long overdue. Once again I would highly recommend Darren to anyone.

We were very pleased with the high-quality job done by Adams Custom Painting and Construction. We looked specifically for an outfit that could both paint and repair the rotted wood that we had on our house. It all turned out great – the house looks like new.Darren’s attention to quality and detail was evident in all the work that he did. Excellent job of repair and preparation before painting. All windows were recaulked.Not only was the work completed in a timely way, Darren was helpful with the stucco color selection which updated the look of our house.

I requested a bid to paint a couple exterior vents. I was satisfied with their fair bid as well as their professionlism & communication. As a result, I went ahead and had some additional work quoted. I had water damage to some exterior wood. Darren talked me through the work and what may be involved if things got too bad. I agreed to get the work done, and it was worse than originally expected. Darren worked with me to get a fair price to complete the work and do it right (better than before). Everything came our fantastic and our family is very pleased. We also had some power-washing done on our front walkway and it came out night and day. We've always had difficulty getting fair estimates and reliable people out to do smaller jobs. Adams exceeded all expectations, and I will use them again in the future.

Working with Darren was great. He was able to come out to our house the day we called to give an estimate. He was always very punctual and professional. His estimate was spot on, both with the cost and the timing of the projects. We are very happy with the quality of work. We hope to work with him again for future projects.
