I was very pleased with the services provided. Greg and his associate were prompt, completed the work in a professional manner and left the place very clean. I will definitely use Greg again when I need painting/repair work completed. The work ran over the 8 hours, and Greg charged me the discounted rate for the additional time.

What a wonderful little company! They were professional and prompt and did an excellent job in a short amount of time. They came promptly after I called for an estimate and gave me an accurate time frame and price, and followed it faithfully. When they came to do the job they literally took care of everything.... moving, covering furniture. They were cheerful and cooperative and skilled at their jobs and finished in a day. I intend to call on them everytime I have a job.

We purchased Angie's list Big Deal in early October, 2011 and after about a week made contact with Greg. He made an appointment to review our needs. We chose to focus on our two main priorities: painting hallway to basement and installation of bathroom exhaust fan. We purchased the fan. The work was completed in November over about a 3 day period. Installation of exhaust fan was difficult as Greg and an assistant were required to crawl through the attic space to reach the fan. They painted hallway and trim with two coats of paint and made necessary repairs. We were and continue to be happy with the quality of work.

Greg did a great job. Some of my kitchen cabinet hinges were broken and he did a great repair job and it was a complicated repair. Coincidentally, while Greg was there I also had an electrician at my house who was having a difficult tim figuring out how to fix a botched dishwasher installation. Greg told him how to fix that too! My only complaint is that he was difficult to schedule because he was so busy ... but that could have been because of the high number of Angie's List Deals he was trying to schedule at that time. He was a very nice man and I would definitely recommend him.he

Although I inquired of 5 A rated Angies List providers, only 2 visited the site and gave me detailed proposals. A third gave a high bid after several requests based on my list of required services and pictures of the needed services, but with no personal visit. Smileys did the most detailed analysis of the services I needed and gave me recommendations as to how to limit costs. They also gave me the lowest prices. They did an excellent job on each of the items listed above and were very pleasant to have around. We will have them back this fall to wash the full exterior of the House and to apply a second coat of stain to our deck. If you want excellent work at a reasonable price from men with whom you feel at eare and are not commited to a tight schedule, you probably can't do better. I believe Smiley's has earned his A rating on Angies LIst.

Excellent. He is very puctual. Never later than the next day that I call him. Very courteous. Always cleans up after the work is done. Makes clear suggestions, but doesnt try to over sell anything. Good installer.

Job went very well. Start was delayed due to weather conditions slowing other jobs, but I was not under any time constraints. Greg was very responsive,kept our home in very good order during the job, and was very conscientious. I will certainly use them in the future ,if needed and recommend them.

He is getting ready to do some painting but he is really a great person. He really is great. They are waiting on me to get the work going and once he gets done with me he will be doing my sisters home too. He is going to paint the inside of my home. He is a really nice person, easy to deal with and a great price. He is very professional and he calls when he says he is going to.

I left a message April 3, 2012 for Greg to please call me about getting an estimate to paint the exterior trim on our brick home & detached garage. I didn't receive a call-back or message, so sent a follow-up email on April 9th. My message included the info that I am home 5 days a week, but can not schedule appointments on Thursday or Friday. Greg called on Friday, April 13th, said he was in the area and could meet me at the house in an hour or two. I reminded him that I specifically was not available on Thursdays or Fridays, and he said he'd try to reschedule on the following Tuesday and give me a call. I never heard back from him by phone or email.I understand how hard it is to satisfy everyone, especially as a one-man small business. Mr. Jungkunz is in West Chester, which is quite a drive from my area, but he specifically includes our county in his service area, and specifies that he's willing to travel. For such high ratings on Angie's List, his responsiveness is ridiculous. He should have just left me a message that he's too busy to handle a job that's not nearby.

He did it very quickly and didn't even need to put down a drop cloth. There was not a drop of paint spilled or speckled in the kitchen. He was very good. I recommended him to friends, who used him.

Greg arrived on time to perform the estimate. He was very professional and answered all my questions. He provided a detailed estimate as requested within 2 days. Once the contact was signed they arrived on time and completed the work within the time they estimated. Removing the popcorn ceiling was a very labor intensive and messy job but they did an excellent job containing the dust and cleaning up at the end of each day. They even came back to fix a few areas found by the painters. Greg was great to work with and he was focused on making sure we were happy with the work he performed. I would definitely recommend him to others and plan to use them again when we decided to finish the remaining rooms in our house.

I let him know my sister was in hospice, and he came the next day. He went to Home Depot and got the bars and installed them for my sister. He would not let me hardly pay him anything for them. He used his own personal gift card to purchase the grab bars. He is a fantastic gentleman.

Good experience. Would use this company again. Only negative was that they forgot the toilet closet in the estimate and price ended up being a little more than estimated. Still a very good price though!

It was a good experience. Greg and Jerry were efficient, professional and competed the work and cleaned up everything so that except for the nice ceilings, it looked like they had never been there.

Estimate: Greg came out and met as scheduled. He explained what was required to complete the job professionally and explained the process and the time required for each step. His bid was competitive and his friendly professionalism and knowledge compelled us to hire Smiley's. Job: Greg contacted us the day before the job was to begin to confirm the schedule. The work was started on time and each step was performed as promised. We are very pleased with the entire process and the result. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Smiley's again and would recommend them with confidence.

The job was part of Angie's Big Deal promotion. Greg visited the site to understand the scope of the work and indicated that an additional 2 hours would be needed beyond the 4 contracted thru the Big Deal. He quoted those at the Big Deal rate. The workman who did the work was puntual and worked steadily over two days as the drywall skim job needed to dry. He did a professional job and we are pleased with his work. The job took an additional hour beyond the quoted six and Greg indicated that it was my option to elect to pay for it or not. He accepted my offer to split it with him. I have asked Smiley's for an additional quote on a damaged kitchen ceiling.

We bought an Angie's List Big Deal Coupon for 2 hours worth of service. We bought this in early October. He came for an estimate in about a week. He seemed overwhelmed with the response to the coupon deal. We stated we wanted exterior trim sanded, repaired and painted before the winter weather set in. He was busy with interior projects and didn't ever get to our exterior project when weather was dry. He called several times with plans to purchase supplies and do the work and never showed up or called to explain why he wasn't coming. It is now February and even though the weather is 50's and sunny, he has yet to do the work. I will never use this person again or buy an Angie's Big Deal. The companies cannot handle the load.

Greg and his friend, Jerry did an excellent job. I called Greg the day before Thanksgiving to see if he would be available to do my repairs and painting during the week after Christmas but before New Year's Eve when I was entertaining. He promptly returned my call and came on a Saturday to give me an estimate. The work began the day after Christmas. I had requested that it only take 3 days since I had to clean and get ready for my entertaining. They began on a Monday and completed the job on Wednesday. They were professional and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves and always asked my preferences when needed. They explained things clearly and made suggestions when appropriate. I was never sorry I followed their suggestions. I would recommend Smiley's services and plan to use them in the future.

He was very contientious and meticulous about his work. I would definately use Smileys again.

My interaction with Greg was great. He was very pollite and professional over the phone, and we set up a time for him to come over and do the work. He was running a few minutes late, and called me to let me know which was great. He was very clean, and overall did a great job. I was happy with his work.
