He's been here and has done a lot of work for me. I was very pleased.

I got Greg from Angie's list. I think the reviews of his good work were very true. It was a pleasure having him and his wife working here. He kept me posted on his schedule, was willing to work with materials I needed and he hadn't used before. He gave me copies of all his receipts, had all the materials ready and had very good suggestions. It was a very good experience and I am already looking forward to their doing more work as needed.

I wanted my bedroom a 2 tone but knew I could not get the ceiling white to be accurate going into the darker wall. I contacted Greg at Smiley's and was set up with an appointment for the estimate. The cost was quite reasonable so scheduled the work. Greg and his wife showed up on time and did a fantastic job. They were very professional and so cute to see a husband and wife work so well together. The 2 tone is awesome and the paint lines are as straight as can be. I will be using them again for our living/dining area as soon as I can choose a color.

Everything went great, Greg started and completed the job in a timely manner. He was very helpful in the decision making process and what to expect. My house looks amazing now. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the work provided by Smiley's Painting and Home Repair.

Smiley's Painting did a great job from start to finish. The owner of the company showed up promptly each day and cleaned up after himself. I was very impressed with his work and would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants quality work at a fair price.

Called Greg and he said he was booked out for several weeks, which would have been fine. He proceeded to start complaining about Angie's List and their advertising rates, which really doesn't offend me, and I'm sure he's getting screwed, but it was unprofessional all the same. Asked me to use the Angie's List site to send him an e-mail stating what I needed and that he'd get back to me. I did, and he didn't. I don't know why it is so hard to get contractors to take my money.

Bought the deal in May. He was backed up in work to be done and said he couldn't possibly get to me before 2-3 weeks. Told him that was OK, that I wasn't in big hurry. He went on and on about how busy he was and how he didn't even know Angie's list had posted this deal and was upset that I bought 2 coupons for the work. By July, I was tired of hearing excuses and complained to Angies list and got another provider.

Finished result looks great. Two coats of paint were applied and coverage is very uniform with no bleed-through from the wood. The grid for the suspended ceiling was taped, so there is no paint on the grid. We made a couple of minor adjustments to the color scheme as the painting progressed, this was no problem. Greg and his wife added good perspective on the adjustments. The project was completed on time with no surprises.

Greg finished everything in about two hours. He even had to go to the local hardware store to get some extra material so it would fit my structure properly. A day later we noticed a manufacturers defect we came by to fix that too. Very helpful , Friendly, and professional

Smileys contacted me quickly after my purchase to schedule the job. It was completed 2 days later. They did a great job and spotless cleanup. I will definitely use them again!

Project went smoothly and in timely fashion. Greg J. of Smileys handled it professionally and with urgency. Mailbox 4x4 post was broken off at the ground. Smileys removed the old post including old concrete and installed new in concrete and re-installed mailbox. Greg went above the call to complete by working with the responsible party covering cost of the damage.

Greg was very polite and professional. He kept the price that he quoted which I thought was actually very fair. I would be happy to use him again.

All work done as agreed on, done on time, and with no problems. I am writing this evaluation now because I forgot to do it when the work was completed.

It couldn't have gone any better. Greg was punctual (he called when there was a traffic delay), professional, brought everything necessary to do what needed doing, worked quickly, suggested simple and inexpensive solutions to problems where possible, and clearly knows what he's doing. We have no doubt that we will use him again as the need arises.

Greg contacted me almost immediately after I received the referral from Angie's List. He agreed to come by my house and perform the work I requested and was very polite, well organized and efficient. His work was excellent and he stayed in touch with me until everything was completed so that I was aware of his plans. I would certainly contract with him again and/or recommend him to anyone in need of a painter/handyman.

I purchased a Big Deal for $80 for Two Hours of Handyman Service or Painting with Smileys Painting & Home Repair. Gregg came out to repair my screen door and install a metal bar so the cat cannot pull the screen out. He also changed florescent light bulbs, cleaned my gutters and ceiling vent fan, and tightened up the handle on my shower. It was a very good experience for me, he was friendly and professional, and I would use his services again.
