Rippe Brothers Appliance Repair

Joe came to our home to replace the refrigerator door gaskets and check our garbage disposal. He had no idea had to replace the fridge gaskets, so I had to pull up a tutorial on my computer which he referenced several time and my husband had to assist him. It is still not done right and the gaskets rub against each other. I called and was denied being able to speak with a supervisor. We called back because the gaskets started to tear and gave the model number. We called a third time and was told they would call back due to computer issues. They never called back. When we called again they never answered the phone. They also never fixed the disposal which my husband was able repair. The worker Joe never removed his big boots and I had to rewax my kitchen floor because it was so scuffed up.

It went well. The part received from the parts house was sketchy, but the tech immediately pointed it out when he opened the sealed box. He was able to take it back and got another one that worked and looked great.

I was happy with the result. Tech was professional, and returned with the part within the time frame he specified. I would definitely call these guys again.

Service man had to order thermostat and return to install. Was completed quickly and I was satisfied with the job.

I’ve used these guys 3 times over an 8 year period. At first they were good. But I believe from their super star ratings they’ve gotten busy and have not done what they needed to do to keep up with demand. They add a $69trip charge to the cost of any repair. I called 2weeks ago and left two messages 3 days apart literally begging them to call because our frig was leaking onto a wood floor. They NEVER answer their phone. NO RESPONSE to my voicemail either. Call Mr Appliance of Cincinnati and they answered with a LIVE person, were here within 2 days and included the trip and diagnostic fee in the repair costs. They even sent a photo of their technician. Found out they are also a family owned business. Will never call Rippe again.

Joe arrived on time and was quick to identify issue. Was a simple fix so cost was a minimum. Very thankful that I didn't get billed for anything that I didn't need. I'd definitely recommend Rippe Brothers.

Very pleased with service. Called on a Thursday at 1PM and was able to get an appointment the next day at 8AM. Technician showed up promptly, diagnosed problem with dryer and had the right parts with him. (they asked for the make/model when I set the appointment). I understand why they have such a great rating on Angie's List.

The technician diagnosed the problems, but we did not elect to fix the washer, the dryer had a bent interior outside the drum, that he tried to bend enough to reduce the noise.

Best Service Call I've had in a long time. Showed up early, was prompt and fixed the issues without any hassle.

It went great. Ken the repair guy showed up at the very start of the 2 hour window when they were supposed to show up, saving me time in my day. He was friendly and professional, got right to work and not only fixed the problem (coupler went bad from overloading washer), but found that the agitator wasn't working properly and fixed that as well. I will definitely use them again for my appliance repair. I did rate the price a "B", but I suspect this is a reasonable fee for a repair. After all we're paying for the expertise, labor, and driving to the house, so I do think the price is fair.

The response time was great! We just moved in to a new houe, and our washer wasn't draining after being in storage for 5+ months. I was able to get a same-day repair, saving me hundreds on getting a new washer!

The repair person contacted me to let me know when he would arrive. He arrived on schedule. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed the problem within 45 minutes. The repair person was very professional and personable.

They accurately diagnosed and were able to fix my stove.

He knew exactly what was wrong and fixed the problem. When I called them, they had me explain the problem and give them the model number in the machine. He brought the right parts to fix the washer.

He ordered part, came back and installed and nothing worked. Put old part back, ordered another new one cam back and installed it. Same results. He then said it was 2 boards that needed to be replace at over half of the cost of a new fridge. Paid one service call and he left after we decided we should not invest that much in a 10 year old appliance

This company DOES NOT tell clients ahead of time they DO NOT repair/replace compressors. I was charged $85 for a service call to tell me that the compressor does not work and to be told they DO NOT handle compressor replacement at all. I had to call another company that does this type work. Which means I also had to pay another service call fee. I later called the company and asked why I was not told they DO NOT replace compressors before they scheduled my service call. The gal that answered told me because 90% of their calls are not for bad compressors. I asked what about the remaining 10% of their clients who do need compressor replacement but are still charged $85 for a service call. No response from her. After I told her I would be giving their company a bad review she hung up on me. Buyer beware of this company especially if your refrigerator will not stay cold.

I’ve had Rippe Brothers here to repair my washer, dryer and now dishwasher. They are are always great! Very professional, prompt and courteous. Prices seem fair. I’ve had another outfit out in the past that is run out of a big box and they would always need to send someone back to repair damage caused by the last guy... seriously!! Restored my faith in repairmen. Highly recommend and would absolutely use again.

Appt was for 10/11/17 and Joe arrived on time. However, despite my providing the refrigerator model and make number as they requested, he did not have the correct hose for a replacement . Another appointment was made for 10/18/17. Joe arrived on time, however this visit he had the wrong part for my refrigerator make and model! Another appointment was made for 10/19/17. Joe arrived on time on 10/19/17. In fact he arrived a little earlier than scheduled and had the correct water line replacement for my make and model. The prices for the parts were higher than those I could have bought directly from the dealer. When I called the office and asked why, I was told that I pay the price that they buy them for, which is retail. Not very happy with this company at all.

He was on time and discovered a larger problem than just the vent needing to be cleaned.

Joe arrived on time, found the problem and repaired it. Knew what he was doing and we appreciated it!

It seems to be fixed. I haven't had any more issues with it in the last 2 months.

I did use them and they did a fine job. They were perfect. I would use them again.

Took a few days to schedule. Tech was on time and did a great job, good service, thank you !
