Things went great. He was courteous and explained what he was doing while I watched. I am a retired engineer and enjoy learning so i watched and asked questions. He showed up on time and promptly did the work and was very kind and professional. I would definitely hire him again if I have any trouble with any of my TVs. After seeing how much work was involved in the LED replacement I thought the price is very reasonable, especially since I didn't have to haul the TV around.

AWESOME! He was so professional and even had to come out multiple times to ensure the TV was fixed. He added his own part to give us a temporary fix so that my son could play his games until he could return with the repaired part. So flexible with the times we had as my husband had surgery on his shoulder at this time. Super nice, punctual, professional, and amazing knowledge and service. We will never use anyone else to repair any TV! Thank you for all you did for us.

Better than hoped for! Mr. Mason sent a board out for repair (no longer made), came back and installed it. Unlike others, Mr. Mason does come to the house which makes it so much better than taking it in. He also set up the TV correctly (like it was not before) for HD and correctly hooked up the Bose sound system. Set the remote so it is incredibly easy and efficient to operate the TV, Bose sound system, ROKU streaming and the Blu Ray without juggling remotes. In a nutshell, I cannot believe how much better my entertainment system is since Mr. Mason worked on it. VERY reasonably priced and from a knowledgable, personable professional. I will never think of looking elsewhere for this kind of repair. Would highly recommend to anyone with similar issues. Mr. Mason is the absolute best!

The repair went great and we are thrilled that our TV is working again. Hopefully we will not need service again but if we do we will definitely call Mason's TV Service.

Mark was very responsive. He was able to come out that day to check it out. He identified the problem - ordered the parts and was back in a couple of days to repair the tv. TV works fine now. Cost includes both house visits. I would recommend Mason TV Service and would also use again myself.

He stood me up twice. When I called second time, said he would call back in 15 minutes even though he should have been here repairing TV. Got tired of messing around.

Mark did everything he could to save the set, but it wasn't to be. He was helpful and competent and I would highly recommend him.

Mark ordered the parts, then picked up my TV, fixed it, and returned it working perfectly in the same day. He taught me a few tricks about it and followed up to ensure everything was ok. Highly recommended.

I first used Mark for a repair on my flat screen television early in 2016. It turned out that the problem we experienced was fairly common to our model. After successfully repairing our set, another problem occurred in December and I phoned Mark to ask whether our set was worth repairing again or if we should simply replace it. After asking me a few questions over the phone, Mark realized he had repaired the TV earlier in the year and thought from my description of the problem that we might have experienced the same issue again. He also reminded me that his service was guaranteed for one year – something I had forgotten. We set up a mutually convenient time for him to inspect the television and during that visit he told us that he would order the necessary part and would repair the TV again at no cost to us. When the part he ordered arrived, he phoned us immediately, set up an appointment and repaired the TV, charging us nothing. I would recommend Mark to anyone needing a television repairman. He’s not only competent - he’s trustworthy. That's a combination that’s tough to beat!

Mark Mason was very professional. He explained what the problem might be, showed me why and ordered a part. When replacing the part he realized that was not the problem, and repaired a different circuit board. He returned the part, which I did not pay for. His fee was very reasonable. He went on to recommend the most reliable brands should I choose to buy a new TV anytime soon.

Mark responded to my call the same day (Friday), came to my house Monday. Took time to explain what was going on with my tv which is unfortunately not fixable. He discussed with me his recommendations for a replacement and pros and cons of different brands (he did not try to sell me one). A very professional and helpful visit, will definitely call him again if needed

Mark is professional, on-time, easy to work with and did a great job. He even had to make a second trip to my house after the initial repair wasn't as successful as we had hoped. I would recommend him to anyone and would certainly use Mason TV again.

My four year old Samsung flat screen TV would not turn on. Before I replaced it I decided to call Mason TV and see just how bad the problem was. The tech replaced some parts on the power supply and was done in about an hour. It was obvious that the technician was very experienced and knowledgeable in this type of work. He even took the time to explain how to keep the problem from occurring again. I would HIGHLY recommend Mason TV Service.

My boyfriend called Mark Wednesday morning, and Mark came out the same day. He took a look at the TV and said no problem that he could fix it. He even took his shoes off before coming into our house. Super nice guy very efficient. We would choose him again and I would highly recommend him.

He first came out the day before Thanksgiving- the TV was not working and it would take some time to get a replacement fan, so he dug through his spares and found and installed one that would work so we would have the TV for the holiday weekend. Two weeks later the ordered fan came in and he came back and replaced it. He was very punctual and professional each visit. This is the second TV repair we've used them and I strongly recommend them to everyone.

We had almost decided to just buy a new TV, but instead now ours is working perfectly and we have a one year warranty on the repair. We will definitely use his services again and recommend Mason TV service highly. It is just an added plus that he is such a nice guy.

When I called Mark got the model # and made an appointment to come out. He called prior to coming to confirm. He was able to quickly make necessary repairs. It was all good.

If there was a grade higher than A, he deserves it. This guy is too good to be true, but he is real. He drove to my house, brought an indoor TV antenna with him, which he installed. It now gets more free stations than I ever imagined, and I don't have to pay a $100 a month cable bill anymore. I also have a Roku to receive Netflix through my wireless router. He also installed a new DVR records and noticed that it's DVD player slot was broken, which I had not noticed. That makes it possible for me to send it back right away and get a new one. this setup greatly simplified the old one. He also made sure the system connected to my second TV. He showed me how to work the basics. Just minutes after he left, I did something with the remote to foul up my picture. I called him, and he called back right away. This was a very complicated setup that he greatly simplified for me. I would recommended him to everyone who needs any TV help. His price is very reasonable for all he did, which included providing the indoor antenna, and he said I could call him anytime for assistance by phone, which he proved already. He even recommended a free TV channel that I would not have known about. Can't get any better.

After searching on Angie's List and reading other reviews, I decided to give Mason TV a call. Mark works out of his car and uses a cell phone. I left a message as he was with a customer and called me back shortly thereafter. I told him of the problem with my TV. He told me it's a common problem with that model and gave me an estimate. He called me back later that evening to schedule a date and time. He was prompt on his arrival a few days later (my problem was not an emergency) and went right to work. He disassembled my TV right on the family room floor removed a component from one of the circuit boards, soldered in a new component and that was that. He checked over the rest of the component to be sure more problems weren't ready to pop up. Reassembled the TV, connected everything back and my TV is just like new again. Before searching on Angie's List, I wasn't even sure there were TV repair people and thought I was going to have to buy a new one. I was kind of looking forward to a new TV, but I hated the thought of disposing of this one that worked so well after it finally came on. It's not a smart TV, but it was a smart decision to use Angie's List and call Mason TV for the repair

I could not get a clear picture on my Tv, all I could see was ghost images. I thought my tv was on the brink and was getting ready to set it out on the curb and purchase a new one. I was under the impression that old tv's were unrepairable. Rays tv assured me that was not true. He came to my home to repair my tv, did a diagnostic on it, told me what was needed, repaired it in less than a week. The cost was surprisingly reasonable. I am very pleased with his work, my tv is working great! The picture is even clearer than before it was repaired. I would call Ray's Tv Repair service again and again.

Mark answered my call in a cordial manner in which he spoke clearly and distinctly. We arranged a convenient time for Mark to look at the TV... He was right on the dot, he called from his previous job to let me know that he was on the way over. Mark was always careful with our television set,.. Making sure that furniture wasn't scratched when he removed the set from the wall. He proceeded to remove the back of the set... Keeping all the pieces, parts and thing together.. He determined what the problem was. Mark had to order the part, which he did before leaving my home. I knew that the process was moving forward . He called a couple of days later to tell me that the piece was in.. He wanted to install it so that we could get back to watching TV. As he was opening the tape sealed part box, he explained why he was opening it in front of me... So that I would be sure that the piece was a newly manufactured part...it was also enclosed in a type of bubble wrap. Almost good to go when Mark noticed that the New board was indeed cracked. Not good! The manufacturer was notified, the shipper was notified. Mark continued on in his calm and professional manner. A new board was shipped overnight, the cracked board was picked up and returned to the manufactured! A couple more days went by. Mark called again.. He arrived when he said he would. The new-new board was removed from its box and bubble wrap, inspected and installed properly. Mark synced our remote control unit to the set.. Once again we has a perfect picture. I wish Mark was from a set of triplets...for when we need a plumber or an electrician. He was neatly dressed neatly, came fully prepared to get the job done... And he did it to my satisfaction.

I can't recommend this contractor enough! I have a flat screen TV that broke one month after the warranty expired. I was hesitant to call a television repairman, because I didn't know what the cost might be. It seems like these days a lot of times it costs just as much to fix something as it does to buy a new one. I'm so thrilled that I called Mason TV Repair! The first place I called told me I had to pack up the television and bring it to them, and they would charge $65.00 just to diagnose the problem. The next place I called was a Mason TV repair. He came right to my house, which was so incredibly convenient! He explained he's able to charge less for repairs because he DOESN'T maintain a storefront shop, which made a lot of sense to me. In other words, I was getting the same repair I'd get if I hauled the TV somewhere, but for cheaper and with much more convenience! I didn't pay a premium for a "house visit". I'm sold on that!! The technician was highly knowledgeable and knew exactly what the problem was, and was even familiar with my television, because he knew this problem is common with these televisions. He quoted me $250 to fix the issue and he'd return to do the work when the parts came in. When the parts came in he returned to complete the repair. He was able to fix the TV, but I had an unfortunate situation in that the TV was not done breaking. It worked for a couple of days but then stopped working again. I called him and he came back out right away to discover that he had replaced two of the four boards that could go bad (they were some kind of circuit boards and my TV has four of them), and after he replaced those two, the other two went bad. He ordered the two new boards, and when they came in he returned and replaced those as well without charging me any more money at all! Not for the parts, and not for his service. He felt like we had already paid to fix the TV and he wanted us to be satisfied that he had fixed it. Not a lot of contractors these days look at things that way. I was absolutely thrilled! Then, the TV started buzzing after a few more days and I had to call him again. He came out and fixed that problem as well, again without charging me any more money! He didn't even want to accept the tip I offered him! I believe I just had some bad luck with the TV--it's one of those things, as he explained, that you fix one problem only to discover something else is wrong too, and it's basically a process until you repair all of the bad parts finally. Usually the first fix does the trick, but I had one of the "exceptions". I don't believe for a second that the TV kept having problems because he wasn't a good repairman. He definitely knew his stuff and had the highest integrity. In sum, I was seriously impressed with the guy's integrity and honesty, and the TV is now working great for far cheaper than buying a new TV! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Don't hesitate to use them. PS, I'm rarely "thrilled" with a contractor. Anyone reading this who uses a lot of contractors knows exactly what I'm talking about, so when I find a contractor like this one, I want to tell everyone. :)

Everything went great ... no problems and TV works now.
