Very quick service, I called in the morning, had an estimate by the afternoon and the service scheduled for the following Wednesday. Very professional--received a call about my scheduled appointment plus a call when the service provider was on his way. Fixed and replaced grout in master bath with large tub and walk in tiled shower. Also in two other bedrooms. Bathrooms look like new.

The result was amazing - better than I expected. Looks like a new bathroom again.

Larry was both the estimator and the person who did the job. He told us about possible complications and dealt with them when they came up; one involved some tricky tile cutting and matching of deck levels. He also solve the problem of an unstable marble shelf for holding bath supplies. He took his time and clean up thoroughly at the end. Also he gave us some tips for handling a couple of hardware issues that were not in his area. I would use Grout Medic again.

Results exceeded my expectations regarding appearance of the finished work. They left the site quite clean. I was impressed at the owner's knowledge of the materials that they wanted to use, and they chose options that would be more resilient, as the house is continually shifting and settling. Their Dayton location seemed to be no problem for serving my Cincinnati-area home.

They were very professional, hard working and went out of their way to accommodate our requests. I would highly recommend them!

The work was superb. John was here for six hours working just as hard as he could. My kitchen looks like new. I would recommend the highest award for Grout-Medic. They certainly stand by their work.

I would highly recommend The Grout Medic! They were very professional, provided an estimate, and stuck to it- even though I think it took them much longer than expected. They gave some great advise for the next steps that had to be done with adding the fixtures, and even ran some caulk along our existing fixtures in another bathroom he was using to get water from because it looked like it had a potential for leaking. Those little bit of extras were very appreciated! They did a great job and we can't say how thrilled we are to have that shower completed. It was money well worth spending!

Called to get a quote on repairing the grout in our kitchen floor. Mark came out that same day. Said he would work up a quote and get back with me. A week later, I emailed him to see if quote was ready. He said he was still working on it. Two weeks later, I emailed him again. No reply! Why do you bother to have a business if you don't want to work!!!! Don't know how they got an A rating. Worst service I have ever received!

They did a really good job and they were right on time. I think that was a right price because we got a couple of estimates and then we gave it to them. They came out right away. They made an appointment and came the same day on time. They were really good.

After a plumbing repair that included jackhammering through the concrete slab beneath our kitchen floor, we needed to have the floor tiles replaced. Mr. Gimmison of Grout Medic arrived within three hours of my initial call, offered a reasonable estimate (including an Angie's List discount), and arranged for a technician to install the tile that same day. (We had spare replacement tiles on hand.) The time from my initial call to completion of the repair was less than ten hours! I'm certain my experience was made possible by some happy coincidences of the proximity of the appraiser and the availability of the technician. Still, Grout Medic was prompt, professional, and skillful. They inspired my confidence and delivered complete satisfaction. I will certainly call on them again if I need tile installation or repair.

I had originally scheduled my appointment back in April, and needed to cancel due to other circumstances. When I called them back a week ago, they honored my original estimate, and came out today. They were on time, professional, and gave me quality work. I had not originally been scheduled for my floor tile to be cleaned and sealed, but he suggested it to me. Since it was only an additional $45 I was eager to have him do it. My bathroom looks great! I will call the Grout Medics for all my tile needs!

The tech was prompt and professional. He covered the floors in the house between the front door and the bathroom with drop cloths to minimize the impact of the work on the rest of the house. We were pleased that he knew exactly what had to be done and checked with us to verify that was what we wanted. The work was done carefully but efficiently and he had us check each stage of the job to make sure we were satisfied. Net result is a very nice looking bathroom with the grout and tile looking better than when the house was built 15 years ago.

The job they did on my kids' bathtub/shower was excellent. The grout was a bit discolored and now looks fabulous. No complaints. The job they did on our master shower leaves me with mixed feelings. Admittedly, the shower was in bad shape and had been so since we purchased the home, with the grout severely discolored. The tiles on the wall of they shower they regrouted look great. However we have had issues with the regrout on the shower floor. When they initially did the job, they left with the grout still grey and said it would turn white when it dried. It did not and I called & let them know. They came back out and did some work and it looked better. The left me with some sort of grout paint for touch ups - that should have been my first clue - why would I need to touch up new grout work? It has been less than a year and despite regular cleaning, the grout on the floor of the master shower is turning grey in spots. It is not an issue of it being dirty, but that in some spots it appears the discolored grout was covered with some sort of white coloring rather than actually replaced with new grout. They mentioned that something underneath the shower may have mixed with the new grout discoloring it when they worked on it. However for the amount of $$ we paid I would not expect discolored grout again less than a year later. Though we are very pleased with the work done in the kids' bathtub/shower and the walls of our shower tile, the floor of our shower which is already discolored less than a year later is disappointing.

He did a great job and the prices were fantastic! He stuck to the estimate and the workmanship was exceptional. He was a little slow getting started because he's so busy but was certainly worth the wait. He referred someone to me to build a custom vanity to fit in my bathroom, and also where to go shopping for the best tile! He was fantastic and I couldn't ask for anything better.

We contacted the company and they were very quick to respond and come out for na estimate. Work was scheduled to begin the following Monday. On Monday the workman arrived at 10am. He left at noon for lunch and at 3 that day. On Tuesday, he came back and said he needed to order a drain cover for the shower. He worked for 4 hours. On Wednesday we waited at the house for him to arrive but when we called we were told they were working on another job and would be there laterin the day. No one showed up. This continued for 2 days. On Monday , the following week another workman came and began working and reworking the tile. He came back the next day and then had a family emergency. We kept calling and asking for a call to let us know when someone would be coming and were put off for the rest of the week. On Friday we had to call and ask when they would complete the job. They came on Monday to finish and on Tuesday the boss came to collect the payment. The biggest issue we had was that our calls were never returned in a timely manner and since no one was living at the house, we had to make arrangements for someone to stay on the off chance that someone would show up. Complete lack of professionalism in communication. It was a very frustrating experience. We were left feeling that our job was a very low priority for them. I would not recommend them in the future.

No one ever contacted me by phone or via e-mail. I would hesitate to hire this company because of their lack of follow up.

Everything went fine. There was a small problem that I did not felt that it was “not sticky enough”, so, they came back and reapplied whatever they reapplied. They were responsive, and I think they did had to call and push the time back for a couple of times.

Grout Medic came out and did an estimate and was available to get the job done the next day. Was charged the minimum for a home visit it get some cracked floor tile grout replaced and touchup some discolored grout in the shower. The guys that came out got the work done quickly and were pleasant overall. They were a couple hours later than originally scheduled, but called to let me know they would be running late from another job, so it was totally fine. I was very satisfied with the job and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

After my initial inquiry, they were very prompt to contact us, come by and give us a detailed estimate. The job had to be done in several visits due to the fact that new plumbing fixtures were also being installed. Everything came out perfectly, and enabled us to update both baths for a decent price (as opposed to gutting them and putting in surrounds, etc.)

Overall, i would say I was satisfied, though not over the moon gushing. They were slow to respond to our initial request for quote, but once we hired them, they did a very nice job. However, the color didn't match. When I contacted the owner, he was reluctant to fix it and gave the excuse that I showed him and some leftover containers from the original grout. Ultimately, they did a color match but it was an additional cost. A few months later, I noticed that some of the color had chipped. They came out & fixed it, but, again, they were slow to respond.

Overall the shower looked very good upon completion. Even though I believe the technician did vacuum upon completion of the job, there was considerable powder (dust from removing the old grout) on all surfaces in the bathroom and in the master bedroom. I did need to wipe down all surfaces, clean light fixtures and vacuum.

Excellent. Very clean and profesional serviceman. Everything looks likje new. Great warranty program.

Appointments for estimate and work were scheduled within a few days. The work was performed as promised and the results were better than promised for the 50 year old tile.

Owner came out, very professional. Wasn't exactly sure as to what we needed, given our bathrooms are original from 1960 and needed attention. He told us exactly what was needed, which was a bit less that I thought, thankfully. We scheduled the work that very day. The employee came out to do the work- I think his name was Tom. Nice guy, felt good about him being in my home and around my kids and pets. He did a great job. I can't even believe what a difference it makes- it's incredible. Wish I'd taken before and after pics. This is money very very well spent to keep a cool vintage bathroom looking awesome. Can't say enough good things about the company. It seems they take their reputation very seriously.
