Description of Work: I hesitate to give a higher rating for quality at this time, as time will tell; they had to come back to fix something that was the result of their first go at fixing my floor...but I am hopeful. And I have to say they earned an "A" in all other categories.

During the initial estimate, before any work was performed, structural issues were discussed that tile was originally set on unsecured plywood. As a result we highly recommended area undergo a full demolition and a new tile installation. We also proposed resetting tiles and regrouting area as an economical repair option but with a caution that would not address the underlying structural issues. The initial work was performed after which it was discovered subfloor integrity was compromised. Therefore we immediately addressed the issue, fastening the subfloor as best could be done and regrouted area with an expensive urethane grout at no additional cost. We assume that this resolved customer‘s issues.

Description of Work: Had the master bathroom shower re-grouted and re-calked. All grout lines were sanded out and re-grouted. Shower was clean at the end and waiting the required 48 hours for it to dry for first use. Installer came in, completed the work in a professional manor. Would use again.

Description of Work: The Grout Medic cleaned the shower, re-grouted and re-calked my shower. It all looked fine but, I was cleaning the drain out 5 weeks later and noticed that there was a spot around the drain that was missed, no grout and no caulk. It was about an inch long and a 16th wide, plenty big enough to let water go down. I wish I had looked more closely before but my vision is not that great.

The work order was to clean and clear seal the shower as well as re-grout about 2 linear ft of grout joints in the shower floor. Grouting around the drain was not part of estimate. However the technician should have noticed the very small area of grout missing around drain and filled it. This was a small oversight and we have not heard from customer except through the Angie's List comment. We always strive to have 100% customer satisfaction, so we will be contacting customer to come back out and take care of this concern. Best Regards, Mark

Description of Work: Grout Medic cleaned and sealed tile in 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, laundry area and foyer in a condo. The floors were extremely dirty and had not ever been professionally cleaned since they were installed in 1997. They also reset and grouted 12 loose tiles, caulked the bathroom tub and fixed grout in the shower stall. Considering the difficult task, I was very pleased with the two workman's diligence and the end result looks very nice.

Prompt call back and quick appointment set-up with Mark. Mark explained what he would do and what to expect as outcome. Was able to get estimate and appointment to do the work within the week. Mark also suggested how to maintain the look of the grout over time. After the work was done, I noticed another area to be done and called Mark. Mark was very responsive and returned the next day to complete the work. Quality job, great communication, and easy to work with. My shower looks brand new, even better than when it was originally constructed!!
Description of Work: Shower tile had mildew and some grout decomposition. Required removing old grout and regrouting tiled shower floor and lower wall. Chaulk in kitchen and baths had dried out and split from wall. Required removing old grout and recaulking bathroom and kitchen along counter top. Recaulk kitchen sink.
