All went very well.
Description of Work: Tim fixed several things for me. He rebuilt two toilets completely, he changed the valves for the dishwasher sink and changed the water pressure valve on the water heater.

Description of Work: Tim was suppose to repair garbage disposal but ends up tearing it out and telling me to return and when I did the mfg said there wasn't anything wrong with it. When he tore it out he never replace dishwasher hose into drain and ends up ruining a part of my wood floor. His comment to me was I told him to. He is suppose to be a professional plumber???

The customer wanted me to fix her garbage disposal. I found the disposal was seized up and improperly installed by the owner. The mounting bracket that attaches the disposal to the sink was engulfed with rust and corrosion, making a simple disconnect near impossible. The customer provided me with a new mounting bracket that she said I would need. Due to mess of the prior installation, I advised her to take the disposal to Home Depot where she bought it for replacement and then to call me as soon as she had it. I could not hook the dishwasher hose up until I had the disposal and I TOLD the customer this. In fact, I told her several times NOT TO USE THE DISHWASHER until I had installed the new disposal and hooked up the hose. She called me a couple of days later, upset because her husband had run the dishwasher and water had run all over the floor -- exactly as I had explained would happen until the hose could be hooked up. She still did not have the new disposal at that time and never called back. This was over 2 months ago.

Description of Work: Our bathtub was not draining properly so I called Tim Ryan. On the scheduled day, Mr Ryan called before the appointed time to let me know he was running an hour and a half late. He showed up before the re-scheduled time, covered his shoes as soon as he came in the door, and got to work. After inspecting the tub drain, he explained what was wrong, and gave me different options to fix the problem. When I decided, he completed the work quickly, professionally, and at a very reasonable price. I have already come up with a list of other plumbing problems I will have Tim handle.

My experience with him was great. He was able to do the job without me being there. The price was reasonable. He came back about two or three times to make sure things were ok and take care of other problems.

Tim and his helper did an excellent job on our home. We have a huge living room (high) and he had the necessary ladders to be able to reach. It was also finished when it was promised.

Tim's work was very substandard. He exceeded his est. of 1 days work (or $500) by 3 days, so his actual charge was $1300 as time & mat'l. Added a $25 per hr 'assistant' not discussed initially. He didn't come 1st day (except deliver top at 6pm) disappeared 2-3 hr daily for errands or ''getting tools'' (on the clock), worked very slowly or stood around as assistant worked, and seemed perplexed on how to install tops. Lowe's installor's est. for same tops -- + other work incl. shower door & light install --- was one day at $800. Workmanship was also shoddy. Drain in one bath leaked in following week, had to call in plumber. Toilet paper holder installed wrong (which he came back to fix), towel bars misaligned. Amended report: the owner subsequently agreed to reduce his bill to $900 from $1350.
Description of Work: Install 3 prefabricated corian countertops in bathrooms, reconnect lavatory sinks, install towel/toilet fixture. Work did not include removing 2 of 3 existing tops/sinks, previously done by homeowner.

THE MEMBER FORGOT TO MENTION THAT SHE PHONED ME ON SUNDAY TO START WORK ON MONDAY WHICH SHE NEEDED TO SHOW HOME FOR SALE ON THURSDAY AND THAT MY "DISAPPEARANCE" WAS TO DRIVE TO LOWE'S AND MANUALLY LOAD ALL OF HER COUNTERTOPS INTO MY TRUCK AND UNLOAD THEM AT HER HOUSE. I ALSO INFORMED HER THAT THE COUNTERTOPS WERE NOT CUT CORRECTLY AND EXPLAINED THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE THEY FIT WAS TO REFABRICATE ON SITE AND STILL THEY WOULD NOT LOOK PERFECT. I EVEN RECOMMENDED THAT SHE HAVE LOWE'S COME OUT AND REMEASURE AND INSTALL. SHE INSISTED I GO AHEAD AND INSTALL THE TOPS AS THEY WERE BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO WAIT. I HAVE A SIGNED AGREEMENT BY HER STATING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE JOB. AFTER REPEATED CALLS TO HER WITH NO RESPONSE, I FINALLY TOOK LEGAL MEASURES. IT WAS ONLY THEN THAT SHE WAS WILLING TO CALL ME BACK AND WE WERE ABLE TO REACH A SETTLEMENT, WHICH INCLUDED THE MEMBER'S WORD THAT SHE WOULD RETRACT HER ALLEGATIONS.

HE WAS VERY VERY PERSONABLE.
Description of Work: There was a leak in our dining room ceiling, and we did not know where it was coming from. He was able to identify the leak. He put a whole in the ceiling, and repaired the problem and the whole and painted the ceiling.
