They were a joke. They were rude people. He did not talk to me, he screamed at me. I selected them from Angie's list because you guys gave this company good rating but they were joke. They promised things in contract that they broke. Mr Carlos talked to me as I was a 2 year old. The worked they did, did not look good or balanced or matched. They did an ugly job. My shingles embarrass me now because of there work.

Employees arrived on time, work was performed in a timely manner. Work areas were kept clean and great care was taken during the job.

The installers were very professional, did a wonderful job. Would highly recommend them!

Crew was on time, friendly, helpful and efficient.

Bryan and his crew were professional and friendly. They cleaned up everything and everything looks great. They were on time and finished early!

Section from "The Window Dog", May 19, 2014 The Model Home Windows Program & Other Window Scams The model home windows program is one of our favorite window sales scams. If you?ve ever seen the movie Tin Men with Danny DeVito and Richard Dryfus you know this one. The fact that this trick is still frequently used has always surprised me. As is the case with all of these window maneuvers they wouldn?t still exist if people didn?t buy them so watch out! The basics of this maneuver come back to the idea that if a company wants to sell you something at a price above the market price they need a way to entice you to to make an irrational decision. The irrational decision in this case is to pay more for something than you need to. Now remember, paying more than you need to doesn?t refer to a comparison with the absolute cheapest company in town. When you buy a remodeling project you?re buying the quality of the products, the quality of the service the strength of the warranty, etc. All of these things have value and they?re all worth something. When we say these companies are trying to entice you to pay more than you need to we mean after factoring all of these components into it, they?re still charging more than their competitors. How can I be sure these companies are trying to charge you more than their competitors would? Because it?s not my first day in this business?and also because they?re lying to you. Remember we started this post talking about the model home discount. This is when a company offers to sell you their products and services for an incredibly low price so they can use your house as an example of the great work they do. They?re expecting all of your neighbors to see how great your house looks and they?re expecting to sell your neighbors windows too. This sounds like a real win-win situation. You get great new windows. You know they?re going to do a great job because they want to show off their work at your home. They?re only offering this deal to one house in the neighborhood so you?d better sign up now to take advantage right? NO. This is never a good deal. In reality they?re telling you this because it?s a good story. They need to get past the universal human tendency to be cautious. You see we evolved over millions of years to be leery of risky situations. This is how we as humans survived all these years. Now they want you to sign a contract and fork over thousands of your hard earned dollars without so much as a google search? Forget about it. You?ll never do it?.unless it?s a really fantastic deal. You see these companies know that another universal human tendency is to LOVE a great deal and to HATE missing a great deal. You love telling your friends about that great shirt you found at TJ Maxx or the steal of a deal you found on the clearance rack, right? How did I know that? Because everyone loves that. It?s human nature. In this case the remodeling company is attempting to use one tendency to overcome the other. ?I wouldn?t fall for that? you?re probably saying. I know, of course you wouldn?t. Nobody in their right mind would over pay for some sales scam. Surprisingly these companies do millions of dollars in business each and every year. People are going for it every day. Nobody every buys something because they think it?s a bad deal. These companies do a great job explaining it and you ?re left thinking you got the deal of the century. My what a great consumer you are! Just remember, a model home discount is NEVER a good deal. The price offered today will still be good tomorrow or the next day or the week after that. If you compare your options and decide that you liked that first company then go for it, but don?t let them talk you into signing up on the spot. You should also remember that if they take the deal next week (as I guarantee they will) then they?re telling you that all that talk about model homes was a lie. Do you really want to work with a company that started out by lying to you? I wouldn?t recommend it. In extreme cases we?ve even heard these companies telling you to keep the prices secret so your neighbors don?t know what a great deal you got. You know the real reason they want you to keep the price a secret? Because your neighbor got the same price as you or maybe even better. The big takeaway? As soon as you hear a company tell you that you?re getting a great price because they want to use your home as a model for the neighborhood just picture Danny Vevito and Richard Dryfus in your front yard yelling about putting your home in Better Homes and Gardens as the ?before? house. Don?t be that sucker.

Vito came out and talked with us. He was not pushy at all. We were very happy with our purchase. Guys that came to install were prompt, friendly, through and did a fantastic job.

Sales pitch a little too much. Quality of windows were best we've seen. Installers were on time, reliable, good communicators, and overall great to have here. Products exceeded my expectations.

The installers did a great job. They were punctual, and respectful of myself and my wife. They showed full function of windows. Also noticed errors and pointed out to come back and replace.

Terry and Terry were punctual, respectful, professional, and detail-oriented. They were very courteous. They cleaned up after themselves each day they worked. A- Plus work!

Jim and his crew showed up on time and were very professional and personable. Job was completed in less time than originally anticipated. Small issue of reinstall of stained glass window but they are working to correct it.

Our house is primarily brick and there is just some siding around the roof. They are a local company. They were very knowledgeable. They were honest, and said that we didn't need to get our siding replaced in some of the places. They explained all of the options.

I originally contacted American Weathertechs late November, scheduling an appt with a rep for Oct 3rd, 2014. Jeff, one of the owners of the company showed up with an example window and walked us through the quality and workmanship, as well as how the windows operated. This was not our first visit from a replacement window company, as we had been shopping for a few months to understand pricing, warranties and overall timing. The price Jeff quoted was less than 50% of what a previous "top-end" replacement window company quoted. We were blown away in that the price wash so much less, and the quality of the windows appeared to be at least as good as the other top end windows shown to us. I signed the contract on Oct 21st, and Jeff noted there was a 4 to 6 week lead time due to a heavy queue. For confirmation on sizing, another rep visited and remeasured the windows, confirming the lead time and indicating they would call when the windows were manufactured. On November 26th I received a call from John, who scheduled an install date of Dec 2nd. Two gentlemen, Justin (?) and Wade showed up around 1:30 on the 2nd and got straight to work. They were both well mannered, friendly, and answered any questions I had. The wood trim around my 17 year old windows had rotted, so I picked up some poplar boards and they helped me install them properly. They even added trim around the wood/windows to make sure we had a weather tight seal. The crew cleaned up all the area, and I should add that it was around 30 degrees F, but the team worked diligently and completed the work within about 5 hrs. The windows are impressive and we immediately felt a difference in room temperatures. The first floor windows are tempered and have a bit of a tint, which looks quite nice. One cannot tell the difference from outside the home. Overall, the ordering process, the quality of the windows, the install and the cost are well worth it, especially since the cost was much less than other bids. I'll be ordering additional windows from them in the spring.

No pressure presentation by Jeff Parisey. He was pleasant and patient answering numerous questions about window manufacturing specs. Our windows arrived on time and installation was scheduled per our convenience. The crew worked quickly and carefully. We had one minor defect with tint on the picture windows which was resolved immediately and to our satisfaction. Pros: Low security deposit, two day installation, excellent work crew, cleanup excellent, excellent final trim work, good follow up Cons: none We love the new windows, are enjoying a much less drafty house and are looking forward to reduced energy bills.

Everything went very well, and it was a great experience. The installers were polite and professional, they did a good job with the windows, and they didn't leave behind any messes. The company has also been good about following up to fix some issues with a couple of windows.

They did a very nice job. They had a good crew who paid strong attention to detail. They had excellent communications with me prior to the sale and afterwards. They coordinated with me creating a seamless transition from the start to finish.

Everything went well, and it was a great experience. The crew arrived on time, explained what it was doing, and did an excellent job in all respects. They did a good job of cleaning up as well, and we haven't had any problems with the work during the three years following the installation.

Everything turned out well for the most part. They seemed to have a good product for a fair price, and the installation went smoothly. However, they did use some high pressure sales tactics which I disliked. Specifically, they told me that I could get a discount on the service if I let them put a sign in front of the house, but I would have to make a decision at that moment in order to take advantage of the offer.

The crew completed the work quickly, did a good job with the installations, and cleaned up meticulously both inside and outside the house.
