Description of Work: A sales rep asked for and was given my permission while working on a neighbor's roof to make an inspection of my roof. He photo-documented evidence of extensive hail damage I wasn't aware of. He contacted my insurance inspector who immediately visited and after inspection agreed to cover the replacement cost; I would not have known it was covered. The original roofing was stripped and replaced with a roofing material and color selection of my choice and promptly completed, along with considerable interior ceiling water damage not earlier noticed. Cleanup outside and in was thorough and without incident.

Description of Work: American Weathertech was very efficient from the salesperson who carefully and fully explained their costs and services, to the people who installed our new windows. Although the winter immediately following was harsh and cold, we felt no drafts and at the end of our electric heating budget year we only had to pay a small amount of difference showing us significant savings already. The windows look great and are so much easier to open and close as well as clean. We would recommend American Weathertech to anyone.

Description of Work: they do very good work but they are very slow. but i guess the amonunt they had to do was alot. i shouldnt complain. im just not used to haveing this much done at one time. we love the finshed product. love the window

Description of Work: I had 13 windows replaced. I thought everyone did a great job. I liked my sales rep. I talked to the front office a couple of times and they were very professional. The installers were great. They got all 13 windows done in one day and everything looks amazing.

Description of Work: The sales associate was very good with the presentation. However, neither he nor the installers are actually employees - everyone is a sub contractor. Also, they are affiliated with Alsides. Look them up on the internet - it's not pretty.

Description of Work: American Weathertechs LLC and our insurance adjuster worked out a cost for the replacement of our roof. We paid only our insurance deductible. The contractor removed our old roof, which had been damaged by hail in May. They had placed tarps throughout the yard to collect the debris from the roof, and all was quickly removed from our property. The weather was very hot, but the three workers began the job and worked consistently throughout the day. The roof was completed in about 3 days. The company had promised that the work site would be cleaned up thoroughly and completely. They did do a good job of the obvious parts of our home, but we continued to find nails and bits of shingle here and there, and especially in the gutters. Overall, we were satisfied with the work done on the roof. At the time the estimate for the roof was determined, we inquired about the siding and whether or not it had sustained enough damage to be replaced. We were not clear about the response. After the roof was completed ,we contacted the contractor's rep to find out whether the insurance would allow the replacement of the siding. He did not respond. Later, when we called again, we learned that there had been a death in his family. We agreed to postpone the siding issue until a later time. When several weeks had passed, we tried again to get an answer.. We were told by the rep that he had sent photos and other materials to the insurance adjuster. The insurance adjuster said that his records showed that he had not been contacted by the contractor since August 4, and had no information about the siding. We sent Ameritechs an email on October 8, stating that we were waiting for a response about the siding. We talk to the rep again the next day. He said he would send the photos to the adjuster, and contact us that evening. Now nearly two months later, we still have not received a call. When discussions began about the siding, we stated that if the insurance would not pay for replacement siding, we would be interested in getting a bid for replacing on our own. We have never been given a definitive answer regarding the siding.
