Beck Electric, Generators & Plumbing

I used Beck for quite a few things in a house and apartment I purchased this spring. Easily spent $15k-$20K with them. New generator, wiring updates, phone line installation, ceiling fan installations. They were out here close to 10 times. Lots of positive experiences. Some minor issues early on that Josh made allowances for which was much appreciated, but some negative ones that were sent to Josh via email to which he has decided to not respond. The good -Installation and wiring is largely professional. -Staff is polite -Josh pretty responsive -Office staff is great to deal with Struggles -Left gate open, letting dogs out to roam for hours, no apology acknowledgement. -Generator breaker box looks like a beaver chewed it, no offer to fix -Trim on house not re-secured properly when installing phone lines -No show/no call for appointment -$150 travel charge every time that is not credited to work done (I live close to the office not sure how that $150 is justified) -Cross wired a switch box that was a fire hazard. I dont want to hammer Josh too hard here, as he has done some good work and made efforts to fix mistakes, but I really work to support small businesses and when the owner shuts me down, declines to respond to my concerns when I call him, he creates a frustrated customer. They were professional, quick and accurate

BECK LIED TO ME. They said the ground lights were fixed when they were not. I called them and they said they would fix them. They still go on all day and off all night. Bart D. in Bath, OH.

Unreliable and unprofessional. Had to call them out 3 times for the same issue, and ended up paying $450 in services charges.

Also I want to say thank you to Teresa who takes the calls and does the scheduling in the office she made my experience very easy even though I was very upset scared and nervous about calling the electric company it was as I was talking to a friend she s very warm and outgoing and very people oriented she s a people person it was as I was talking to a friend he has amazing people working for his company and back electrical always be my company if I ever need Electrical work please call Beck electric you won t regret it IIs my most honest review I highly highly recommend electric
